This one-of-a-kind project bag is perfect for knitting and crochet projects like socks, scarves or sweater parts. There's plenty of room for your phone and wallet, so you can use it on it's own, or you can use it to separate all those WIPs in your big knitting bag.

It also makes a great purse or makeup bag. I use mine every day and it holds everything I need.

The bag is made from a vintage quilt top that was never finished. It uses bright, colorful pieces that appear to be from the 1960s and 70s. There's a great range of fabrics from cotton to polyester double-knits! All of them have a different texture and the bag has a soft, unstructured feel that adds so much to its appeal. It's like taking a dip into someone's fabric stash!

My favorite bit of fabric on this bag feature a photo of a woman in a floor length dress on a swing! Awesome!

The bag is also lined with vintage polyester and has a sturdy drawstring closure. The edges have been sewn to create a flat bottom to accommodate larger items.

Measures approximately 12”x12” (30cmx30cm).

Please note: Due to it's vintage nature, there may be small stains here and there, but the fabric was washed before it was sewn. I did not notice any stains, but I figured I should mention it just in case.

The outer fabric features a sweet innocent deer (I believe eye size is directly proportional to innocence, so this guy must be an absolute angel!). The lining features colorfil hexagons. I'm just crazy about this collection, especially its Garanimal-esque nature. This image is from a 1950s kids' activity book. There was a whole page full of various types of train cars (look out for other train keychains!) and a kid wrote the name of each type over it. I love the little kid writing and just think, that kid is now in his 60s. Crazy!

Vintage Romance Magnets - Girls Next Door - Set of 3

The girls next door are so sweet, so friendly, so demure. It's weird that we keep having to call the police in the middle of the night about all that noise coming from their place . . .

The images were cut directly from 1950s and 60s romance comic books and are decoupaged onto vintage clay poker chips and have been coated with multiple layers of varnish to protect them.

Each poker chip measures 1.5" in diameter and is backed with a rare earth maget. They are really strong and super magnety. Did you know that the magnetic field typically produced by rare-earth magnets can be in excess of 1.2 teslas? Soooo . . . don't stick them to your computer or your pacemaker.

Magnets come packaged in a plastic sleeve on a funky retro backing, so they're perfect for gift-giving! (see last photo for packaging)

Please note that these are made of clay, so they may break or chip if dropped.

Wallflower pendants are made by combining bits of mid-century wallpaper with vintage Bakelite poker chips.

Wallpaper samples are collected from books leafed through by homeowners in the 1950s looking for just the right thing. The poker chips show minor scuffs from their time spent on the table between friends squinting at one another, trying to figure out who was bluffing and who was just distracted by the bowl of beer nuts.

Poker chip is 1.5" in diameter. The bail is sterling silver.

I have two kinds of necklaces available for this pendant, each for $4. and each includes free shipping when purchased with a pendant.

The outer fabric is a vintage print featuring adorable ladybugs, turtles and polka-dotted mushrooms! The pattern on the bag you recieve may vary, but each one has at least one ladybug and one turtle and lots of shrooms.

(FYI, the fabric has been machine washed, but there are tiny rust-colored stains here and there that I couldn't get out.)

I find this piece especially interesting because it appears they're making out and yet I see no discernable trace of lips on either of them. Huh.

This glass tile pendant is made using an image from a vintage romance comic from the 1950's. It's the original image, not a copy, so this is a one-of-a-kind piece. You can see the image from the other side of the page on the back.

The pendant is made of crystal clear glass that has been cut and heated to melt the edges into soft corners. A silver-plated Aanraku bail is adhered to the back using a two-part adhesive, so it’s really on there. The back is coated with multiple layers of clear glaze to protect the paper.

I've labeled this style as "sparse", meaning there are only a couple of pussy willows on the bottom of the pendant with a larger field of green at the top. These sweet scatter pins are covered in vintage fabric that I'm guessing is from the 50's. Roses of various colors are set on a background color that's a litte hard to describe. It's a combination of dark olive and mustard. Yumm!

These bluebirds are from a remnant of vintage feedsack cloth. Each 4-piece set is a little different, but they all have that one little guy sitting on top of the red bird house. The other magnets feature birds with their wings in various positions.

They have adhesive magnets attached to the back. I tested them thouroughly on the side of my fridge and they passed with flying colors.

Magnets come packaged in a plastic sleeve on a funky retro backing, so they're perfect for gift-giving! (see last photo for packaging)

Delicate pussy willows on a steely blue background remind me of lying under the willow tree and staring at the summer sky in my friend's yard as a kid. ~sigh~

This pendant is made using vintage wallpaper from the 1950's. Unfortunately, it's from a mid-century sample book, so I don't have very much, so this will be in limited supply.

Pattern on the pendant you receive may vary slightly.

The pendant is made of crystal clear glass that has been cut and heated to melt the edges into soft corners. A silver-plated Aanraku bail is adhered to the back using a two-part adhesive, so it’s really on there. The back is coated with multiple layers of clear glaze to protect the paper.

I have two kinds of necklaces available for this pendant, each for $4. and each includes free shipping when purchased with a pendant. (Seen in the 3rd and 4th photo)

Ah, there's nothing like a good old fashioned romance. The forlorn crying, the seething anger, the studly manly men who can do no wrong. And then when they do, they are inevitably forgiven because of the aforementioned studliness.

The images were cut directly from 1950s and 60s romance comic books. Yes. I cut them up. But trust me when I tell you that society is actually better off without these particular comic books. They make the Lifetime Channel look like The Ayn Rand/Gloria Steinem Memorial Theater Company. But darn if they don’t make amazing magnets!

I think its original creator would be pleased that her hard work (most of the pieces are sewn together by hand!) and beautiful fabric scraps were being enjoyed by her fellow handicrafters and vintage fabric lovers. All of the fabrics have a different texture and it has a soft, worn feel that adds so much to its appeal.

*Please note: Due to it's vintage nature, there may be small stains or frayed bits here and there, but the fabric was washed before it was sewn.*

Wallflower pendants are made by combining bits of mid-century wallpaper with vintage Bakelite poker chips.

Wallpaper samples are collected from books leafed through by homeowners in the 1950s looking for just the right thing.

The poker chips show minor scuffs from their time spent on the table between friends squinting at one another, trying to figure out who was bluffing and who was just distracted by the bowl of beer nuts.

A satin cord combined with sterling silver bail and hook clasp make this a wearable piece of everyday history! The cords I normally use are 16", but if you'd like a longer cord, please specify the length by adding a Note the the Seller when you check out, or by sending me a convo.

Poker chip is 1.5" in diameter. All metal findings are sterling silver.

Since each pendant is handmade, there may be a slight discrepancy from the photo shown to the one you receive. Your pendant will come packaged in a cute brown and aqua gift box.

**Please note that the clasp will not fit through the bail, so the cord cannot be changed once it's attached.

Vintage Romance Magnets - Upset Brunettes - Set of 3

Ah, there's nothing like a good old fashioned romance. The forlorn crying, the seething anger, the studly manly men who can do no wrong. And then when they do, they are inevitably forgiven because of the aforementioned studliness.

The images were cut directly from 1950s and 60s romance comic books. Yes. I cut them up. But trust me when I tell you that society is actually better off without these particular comic books. They make the Lifetime Channel look like The Ayn Rand/Gloria Steinem Memorial Theater Company. But darn if they don’t make amazing magnets!

Images are decoupaged onto vintage clay poker chips and have been coated with multiple layers of varnish to protect them.

Each poker chip measures 1.5" in diameter and is backed with a rare earth maget. They are really strong and super magnety. Did you know that the magnetic field typically produced by rare-earth magnets can be in excess of 1.2 teslas? Soooo . . . don't stick them to your computer or your pacemaker.

Magnets come packaged in a plastic sleeve on a funky retro backing, so they're perfect for gift-giving! (see last photo for packaging)

Please note that these are made of clay, so they may break or chip if dropped.

Delicate pussy willows on a steely blue background remind me of lying under the willow tree and staring at the summer sky in my friend's yard as a kid. ~sigh~

**Please note that this may not be the actual pendant you recieve, but yours will look very similar. I've labeled this style as "sparse", meaning there are only two or three pussy willows on the bottom of the pendant with a larger field of blue at the top. The "dense" version features more of the pattern throughout the pendant.**

This glass tile pendant is made using vintage wallpaper from the 1950's. Imagine an entire room covered in this paper! I'd never leave the house. Unfortunately, it's from a mid-century wallpaper sample book, so I don't have very much. Once it’s gone, it’s gone. Luckily, the samples included a few colorways of this design, so look out for these dainty pussy willows on soft green and dusky grey backgrounds.

The pendant is made of crystal clear glass that has been cut and heated to melt the edges into soft corners. A silver-plated Aanraku bail is adhered to the back using a two-part adhesive, so it’s really on there. The back is coated with multiple layers of clear glaze to protect the paper.

I have two kinds of necklaces available for this pendant, each for $4. and each includes free shipping when purchased with a pendant. (Seen in the 3rd and 4th photo)
