There is a pretty flower design in white on the fabric with a small pocket and trimmed in a pretty gold and white rick rack. The ties are nice and long and the crispness of the material makes for a perfect bow.

Vintage Woodland candle shaped like a small log with a sweet deer, mushroom and leaf scene. The wick looks to have been lit but I don't know who wouldn't want to keep this as is.

The candle measures 4 1/2 inches (11 1/2 cm) tall and has an 11 inch (28 cm) circumference and is about 2 inches (5 cm) wide.

The candle has a fawn in the front of a dark brown stump with little leaves, flowers and a few mushrooms and there appears to be a shiny coating over top of everything but the flowers and leaves.

This would look perfect on your shelf of cute woodland creatures!

Vintage Simplicity sewing pattern 4459 for a simple dress in 3 styles. Judging by the style and price it is probably from the 1950's and is undated.

The pattern makes a girls' one piece dress in 3 styles and states that it is simple to make. The dress has back button closing in bodice and a gathered skirt. One style has short set-in sleeves and a tie belt, another has short sleeves and cotton lace trim and the third is sleeveless and a bow trim.

The pattern states it is for a girl size 12 with the following measurements in inches:

Finished back length 36

I rarely find men's sewing patterns but here's one for Advance pattern 8820 for men's shorts with a size 34 waist.

The description lists them as men's Bermuda shorts with a waistband with front and back loops and a front zipper closing. The shorts have side seams, a change pocket on the right front side, two welt pockets in back...the left one buttoned and a buckled adjustable strap in back.

The only measurements are: Waist 34

The pattern is in excellent condition. All pattern pieces are separated and one pattern piece for the shorts shows a scissor clip in the dart., otherwise in excellent condition. All pattern pieces have been checked. The envelope has some rips around the top front of the envelope.

This is a beautiful vintage silk scarf I discovered in a shop. The color is a burgundy red with an interesting cream coloured pattern.

The scarf does have the label attached stating it is silk but doesn't have the content of the reverse fabric although it feels like a knit wool it could also be acrylic.

The scarf is 7.25 inches across or 18 cm and 48 inches or 122 cm long excluding the fringe which adds another 3 inches or 8 cm on either end.

This scarf is suitable for a fashionable man or woman and looks perfect for a holiday party!

This pretty rectangular fabric piece has a rust colored bacground with pretty leaves and flowers in shades of beige, blue, olive, gold and brown.

The fabric content is unknown and this piece is unfinished on all sides. It measures 13 X 26 inches or 33 X 66 cm.

Vintage 1983 souvenir tea towel from Australia with a dark brown border, map, animals and birds.

This tea towel features the calendar with a map of the territories and the animals, birds and flowers that you can find in the region at that time. There is a brown border and images of animals like the platypus, wombat, Tasmanian devil, koala, kookaburra and more.

This would make a nice collectible piece to use as a linen as it is or it could be used to make some great appliques on your art quilt, baby blankets, purses etc.

The linen is 100% cotton and measures 18 X 28 inches or 46 X 71 cm.

The look and feel of the linen is like new condition but there are two small flaws on the bottom approx. 1/2 inch in diameter. If you are using this for sewing then it won't matter, they aren't that noticeable but I've included two pictures and reduced the price.

Vintage 1950's Womens Cat Eye reading glasses frames

These are a beautiful vintage pair of cat eye Liberty frames. They are a pretty gold/olive colour on the front and sides with a metal piece along the top eyebrow area.

The metal piece has little screws holding it on and feautre an etched design. These frames do have lenses in them but you could easily have them removed to accomodate your own sunglasses or prescription lenses. The side arms would probably need adjustment by a professional at the same time as they have the shape of the last person who wore them.

Here are the measurements, you may want to check them against your current frames to see if they will fit,

These details were on the arms of the frames, 3 3/4-5 1/4 Liberty

On the nose bridge the size is listed as 44-20 USA

This would indicate the lens is 44 and the bridge is 20 (mm)

Beautiful pair of vintage Birks earrings made from Sterling silver and adorned with small little marcasites. The earrings have a pretty leaf design and have a gold tone to them.

Birks is a high end jewelry company that has been in business since 1859 and is comparable to Tiffany's in the U.S. These earrings are approximately one inch in length and have a screw back. There is a Birks stamp on the back and the sterling stamp.

These earrings would make a very nice gift and will come wrapped in bubble wrap and a box to protect them.

Here's two hard to find packages of Beltx garter and bra accessories made in Quebec Canada. These look to be from the 1960's and the packages are still sealed and unused.

There are 4 sew on trolley garters and it states they are non-allergic on the package. The other package holds a 2 inch wide hook on bra back extender.

These are great pieces of ephemera and great for altered art and collage projects or if you upcycle vintage lingerie and need some original pieces these may be for you. The back of the packages has some great images as well.

Have a friend who's getting married? These are a fun set of bridal shower invitations I found on one of my many trips to find vintage goods. They are in like new condition.

These are roughly the size of a postcard with a checklist of the when, where, why and RSVP information on the back. They do come with envelopes and the packet is in like new condition.

Simplicity 8240 UNCUT wedding dress pattern in 3 styles. The size is listed as 10-14 and from 1992 and not out of print.

The pattern makes a wedding gown in three styles. Lined dress with train, back peplum and bow. It has a fitted princess seamed bodice, deep V-back neckline, back zipper and shaped waistline seam. Views 1 and 2 have long sleeves with loop and button closing. View 1 has lace bodice overlay and sleeves, piping and lace trim. View 2 and 3 have scalloped details and optional purchased flower trim. Version 3 has short sleeves with pleat detail and bow trim.

Vintage Advance pattern for a dress in two styles. The pattern is cut and is probably from the 1960's but isn't marked with a date. The size is listed as size 18.

All the pieces are intact and in good condition. The pattern is in good shape for its age and is stamped with a store stamp on the front.

Vintage pattern sizes do not reflect current sizes so it's always good to check your measurements against those below.
