Original ACEO - Fabric and Hemp Tree

$18.00
ACEO - size is 2.5" x 3.5" (approx. 6,3cm x 8,8cm)

This is my first fiber art ACEO. It took a long time to make but I had a lot of fun.

The background was made with pieces of fabric machine stitched together in random pattern. The hemp tree was then added a piece at a time and hand-stitched to the background with gold thread. The borders were also hand-stitched.

The back is signed, dated, and has a list of all the materials used.

ACEO stands for Art Cards, Editions and Originals. These cards are the size of a trading card, 2.5" x 3.5". Art Cards have been traded among artists for some time. They have become more and more popular, and now ACEOs are available for sale to collectors who wish to buy them. Art Cards are highly collectable and affordable mini-masterpieces. They enable art collectors to own a large variety of art from around the world.

If you're looking for different ways to display your growing collection, please check here for ideas (collected with the help of other Etsy artists):
http://sebentamarta.blogspot.com/2008/03/how-many-ways-are-there-to-display.html

Please send me a message if you have any questions.
