This has been in my notebook for some time.... I am so glad I finally tried it because they are cool!...Looks great on everyone who tries them on and satisfying to make since they use up my never-ending supply of scraps! More pretties... less waste.

I have collected this wool from many sources, there's a skirt here, a jacket there...Even a sweater... all felted & fulled.

Looks great long and hanging or wrapped over itself into a leafy wreath.

Photos show the same scarf in different positions, on different colors to show the colors as well as I can. :)

These handy pouches sell like mad at my shows. A nice useful totally giftable item!

I used one of these every day. My car key is on the clip, my ID Credit card, and a bit of cash inside. It fits in my pocket,and in my bag when I choose to carry one.

Made from a taupe colored wool. The Daisy design is made from bits of other wool garments. Finished with a cool Blazer button button center. A really fun array of textures! Rick rack accent & grosgrain ribbon sewn in to hold the key clip. Snap closure.

I take stuffy wool coats... pull out the stiffness and structure and fashion them into something new and fun.

This bag is made from a wonderful Harris Tweed coat. The label states: "DYED SPUN HANDWOVEN AND FINISHED IN THE OUTER HEBRIDES OF SCOTLAND.100% Scottish Wool" And this lovely label is attached to the outside of this coat.... oh! I mean bag.

It features a simple leaf and poppy design made from various wool tweeds. A front pocket is fashioned from the coat lapel. Another pocket is found on the back and a pocket inside is decorated with a bit rick rack goodness! The tweed in a grey, tan and Cream (white) spun wool. A charcoal wool panel adds contrast and is used for the applique designand piping.

This is a very classy style that will match anything from a dressy jacket to jeans and a tee.

This pin is made from wools, that have been found, fulled and fashioned into something new. As i try to waste as little as I mush I have decided to spend some time using up all the bits left over from other projects.
These pins are wonderul! Everytime I wear one I get tons of compliments... so I know it is not jusnt me!

This pin is made from Brown toned wools. They were fulled (like felting ...for woven wools). Each is cut freehand, machine embroidered and finished with a vintage button and a pin back.

I think this vintage button is vegetable ivory, but I am no expert.
Measures about 3 1/2 inches at it's widest point.

This bag is made from a melody of Brown Tweed wools.
It features a simple leaf design with many "blazer" details. A front pocket made from a lapel makes for a handy storage pocket to keep things in order. Another pocket on the back is made from the front pocket right off the jacket. A pocket inside is decorated with a bit of rick a polka dot print fabric. This is a very classy style that will match anything from a dressy jacket to jeans and a tee.

I have collected this wool from many sources... there's some blazers, skirts and trousers and a felted sweater or two... all wool, all fulled & felted. The leaves are hand cut and machine stitched together in a style of wonderful abandon. They are different greens and green toned tweeds in color.

Looks great long and hanging or wrapped over & over into a leafy wreath.

I found a bunch of wool felt during a thrifting expedition. It was one of many scraps left over from a few "Penny rug" kits. WHat a treasure! The perfect golden color for sunflowers.
This pin is machine stitched... a wool leaf was added, pin back securely sewn on, and finished with a vintage brown coat button. Measures about 2" at it's widest point.

O.K. I am a horse lover. Any work I do is usually to pay to keep my very own 15 year old "pony", well, so shes an Throughbred~QH cross.... But shes just warm & fuzzy to me!

Like these guys! They are soft & warm of repurposed wools, filled with poly pellets (in their feet) and stuffing. They are softly filled and a bit floppy, but stand well on their own.
They all are a main color with an appliqued mane, floppy tail & forelock that playfully covers one eye.

This listing is for the Dani, She is made from a soft fulled Pendleton Plaid wool with her mane & tail in warm tan fulled wool. Finished with pearl button eyes.

These are not intended for small children, the eyes are a potential choking hazard, so keep this in mind if you are considering it as a gift for a little one.

If you don't know my work....Then Welcome! I like to take old stuffy blazers and tear 'em apart, pull out the stiffness & structure and make something new and Not-so serious from it.

This handbag is made from a oatmeal colored wool coat. I have paired it with a fresh & green bitty daisy retro print that looks sweet with my daisy design.
This bag features piped stems, appliqued leaves from various dyed wools and a few happy daisies with vintage yellow button centers. An outside pocket is made from the coat sleeve. Backside is also accented with a daisy applique design Piping detail continued at the bottom and on flap closure.

Measures:
12" across at opening
10" tall
4" x 9" bottom
12" drop on handles

~My UpCycled Wool~
I hunt local thrift shops and closets for fine quality wool garments, I bring them home, wash them in HOT water, then dry them. This gives a wonderful felting, and makes them very clean. I them pull them apart getting all the fabric I can from them.

Each of my bags in made one at a time. Each is unique. No two will ever be the same. The nature of my limited materials keeps me creative, and makes it impossible to make my bags any other way. No sweatshops or corporate managed company can produce a bag like mine. Thanks for buying Handmade!

It measures about 2 3/4" square not including the leaf
It is cut from my upcycled wool, machine embroidered with my 1970 Brother "charger" 1681, and Hand finished with a vintage pearl button and a pin back. Measures approx 3" at widest point.
