Recycled Record CD Case or Keepsake Box - American Graffiti Soundtrack

$60.00
This handmade box holds 12 standard CD jewel cases - or whatever else you may want to store or take with you. Enjoy the irony of carrying your favorite digital media in an entirely analog container!

Made from one complete LP sleeve with the front cover on the outside, back cover on the inside and the vinyl record on top. Top and bottom are lined with a navy and white star print. White pearly plastic handle, sturdy draw bolt latch and quality hardware.

Record: American Graffiti Soundtrack

This was one of the first LP's I ever owned - This two-record soundtrack from the popular movie of 1973 is a really good collection of early rock'n roll, soul and doo wop. I'm sure I must have driven the rest of my family nuts playing it over and over and over as a young teenager. This copy must be a later single sleeve pressing, as I remember my copy had a gatefold sleeve with stills from the movie inside. Movie stills or no, the airbrush cover art featuring a roller skating waitress from Mel's gives this box a cool retro vibe.

Outside Dimensions: 5 1/2" W x 6 1/4" H (not including handle) x 5 1/2" D (13.5 cm x 16 cm x 13.5 cm)
Top and bottom are lined with a block print handmade art paper with a pattern of concentric circles. Faux tortoise shell handle, sturdy draw bolt latch and quality hardware.

Record: Ray Charles - Modern Sounds in Country and Western Music

Who doesn't love Ray Charles? Apparently the previous owner of this album did - the vinyl was truly played out! Oh well, the red cover with Ray in action and some nice typography made this LP from 1962 a fabulous choice for a box.

Outside Dimensions: 5 1/2" W x 6 1/4" H (not including handle) x 5 1/2" D (13.5 cm x 16 cm x 13.5 cm)

Enjoy the irony of carrying your favorite digital media in an entirely analog container!

Made from the cover art of two LP sleeves, with Maria Callas portraying Verdi heroines on the outside, Beverly Sills singing La Traviata on the inside and the actual Callas vinyl on Angel Records on top. Top and bottom are lined with a beautiful copper moire textured art paper. Pearly white plastic handle, sturdy draw bolt latch and quality hardware.

Records: Maria Callas Portrays Verdi Heroines; Beverly Sills - Verdi La Traviata Highlights

Two of the most celebrated opera divas of all time are represented on a single box. I found the simple elegance of the Maria Callas record cover irresistible: the rich colors, uncoated finish and clean typography read pure class - The beautiful red and black Angel Records label features a cherub reclining on a disc. Complimenting on the inside is a Beverly Sills album cover, also singing Verdi.

Outside Dimensions: 5 1/2" W x 6 1/4" H (not including handle) x 5 1/2" D

Recycled Record CD Case or Keepsake Box - Joni Mitchell - Song to a Seagull

Enjoy the irony of carrying your favorite digital media in an entirely analog container!

Made from one complete LP sleeve with the front cover on the outside, back cover on the inside and the vinyl record on top. Top and bottom are lined with photos of Joni and lyrics from the gatefold art, the bottom of the box is covered with a pretty lavender handmade paper with that looks a bit like tiedye. Lavender pearly plastic handle, sturdy draw bolt latch and quality hardware.

Record: Joni Mitchell - Song to a Seagull

Song to a Seagull was Joni Mitchell's debut album, released in 1968. The beautiful cover art, designed and painted by Joni herself, describes themes from the songs within, illustrating sort of a city vs. country concept. I love the way the organic forms and bright colors wrap around the box inside and out, with young Joni's pretty face emerging from under the lid.

Outside Dimensions: 5 1/2" W x 6 1/4" H (not including handle) x 5 1/2" D (13.5 cm x 16 cm x 13.5 cm)

Enjoy the irony of carrying your favorite digital media in an entirely analog container!

Made from one complete LP sleeve with the front cover on the outside, back cover on the inside and the vinyl record on top. Top and bottom are lined with a pretty deep plum unryu paper. Pearly pink colored plastic handle, sturdy draw bolt latch and quality hardware.

Record: Iron Butterfly - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida

Oooops! I'm selling this case at a discount because I put the handle on sideways. It's still a cool-lookin' case, I just love the trippy typography on the cover of this acid rock classic!

On the underside is a paper printed to look like leather. Pearly yellow plastic handle, sturdy draw bolt latch and quality hardware.

Record: Rod Stewart - Never A Dull Moment

I love the cover of this album that Rod Stewart released back was he was GOOD! Oops, did I say that? Seriously, this record rocks and explains his huge popularity that began in the 1970s. The cover art, with muted tones and a collage-y hand-tinted photograph look, is printed on uncoated board which gives it a real organic feel and makes a handsome case for a dozen of your favorite retro rock discs (or flash drives!).

Outside Dimensions: 5 1/2" W x 6 1/4" H (not including handle) x 5 1/2" D (13.5 cm x 16 cm x 13.5 cm)
