Get lost in the warmth and comfort of this piece of wearable art. Red wiggles and squiggles of mohair atop a hand felted soft merino wool background on one side, and on the other patches of soft grey wool with the red mohair on the bottoms. Very versatile, may be worn as a wrap , or a scarf.
The wrap/scarf measures 11 inches by 50. It has been hand felted by me using the softest merino wool with mohair accents.

Soft merino wool flowers with a little bud on the side on a felted necklace, so lightweight , you won't even know it is on.
Quite a pretty addition to any wardrobe, sure to be an eye catcher. The neckace is 24 inches around with a magnetic clasp, the flowers measure 2-3 inches across and are quite dimensional.

This scarf was made for the FDL team challenge of the month...sprouts. I started by hand dyeing a silk chiffon scarf in yellows and greens, then I "painted" the soft wool in a beautiful pattern across the scarf. A waving romantic branch with yellow rose blossoms.The rose blossoms are made from wool roving that was hand dyed with marigold petals!
The scarf measures 7 inches by 65 inches. The feel is so soft you won't want to put it down!
Nuno felting is the process of incorporating wool into lightweight fibers, in this case chiffon. Using soap, water, elbow grease causes the fibers to open up and grab each other attatching to the chiffon and creating a new piece of fabric.
Easy care, hand wash , roll in towel to remove excess water, and line dry.

Lightweight soft and warm , wool silk. Perfect to wear with a pretty gray suit or wrap around your neck on a cold wintry day.
Soft , feminine, and romantic.

The scarf measures 8 inches by 48 inches. It is handwashable, with warm water and gentle soap. Line dry and press while damp if needed. I hand painted it with permanent dyes they are there to stay. The hems have been hand rolled to make for a nice finish.

This piece was wet felted incorporating soft merino wool and alpaca with gorgeous varigated fibers.Soft pink,camel brown and just a hint of grey on one side, and the other is creamy soft merino with patches of alpaca.A beautiful combination .

I am a member of the Fashion Design and Lifestyle Team, our June challenge was a bit of romance, summer and ocean. I created this scarf with the ocean in mind with beautiful blended blues, purple, and green.
This scarf was created by nuno felting soft corridale hand dyed wool into a beautiful hand dyed silk chiffon scarf. The wool has barbs which open up during the process and grab on tho the chiffon creating a new fabric with lots of texture.
This is a one of a kind wearable piece of art, wear it and have fun.
Hand wash with mild soap, roll in towel to remove excess water , and hang to dry.

This scarf has been nuno- felted, which is the process of using soap, water, and lots of elbow grease to create wearable art. The wool has barbs on each fiber which open on and grab on to the silk forever creating a beautiful texture.
