What a great way to celebrate handcrafted, cold-process soaps!

You or a recipient of your choice will receive 2, 4-4.5 oz. bars of soap for 3 consecutive months for a total of 6 bars of my spectacular soap!

Soap will be mailed around the 10th of each month, and your subscription will start immediately if purchased by the 8th of the current month.

The soap you receive will be a little bit of a surprise, but in the notes to seller at checkout, you may specify:

1) all essential oil/unscented soaps
2) all fragranced soaps, or
3) mix them up, please!

What a great way to try some of my new scents, often before they are listed for everyone else! All soaps will come packaged with my handmade paper sleeve, ingredient tag, cello bag, and raffia tie. The price already includes all the shipping charges for U.S. addresses only.

Gardener's Vetiver - Fragranced Soap, One 4 oz. Bar

A hard-working and great smelling, 4 oz.(or slightly larger) bar of soap, that carries the earthy scent of Vetiver. A natural nutty brown in color, this is the perfect soap to remove the grime from gardening, mechanic work, or simple handy-man chores. You’ll get a single bar of soap made the cold-process, old-fashioned way through the saponification (chemical reaction) of sodium hydroxide in spring water with the oils of:

☼ olive (skin conditioning)
☼ palm kernel (hardness, lather)
☼ castor (skin conditioning, lather)
☼ coconut (hardness, skin cleansing, lather)
☼ avocado (skin conditioning)
☼ jojoba (skin conditioning)
☼ sunflower (skin conditioning)

Additives: Fragrance, Fuller's Earth

This soap produces a thick, creamy lather with lots of bubbles, while the Fuller's earth does the clean-up work. The Vetiver scent is often described as deep, sweet, woody, smoky, and earthy.

This soap will come wrapped in my unique handmade paper sleeve as shown in the pictures. The paper is created by reclaiming clean, ink-free scraps that would have otherwise ended up in the landfill! This is my small way of helping planet earth and avoiding more new packaging that just gets thrown away. A cello bag and tie, to protect your soap during shipment, complete the packaging.

About My Soaps:

Most of my bath products are completely natural, often vegan or vegetarian, with plant, earth, and aquatic based ingredients – never any artificial colorants or preservatives. On occasion, I will add high quality, cosmetic grade fragrances instead of essential oils that are derived completely from plant materials – check the list of ingredients for the particular soap listed. All of my soaps are made in controlled batches with only the best oils, and are cured a full 5 weeks before offering them for sale. By the time you receive your soap, it is fully cured and ready to use. I personally test each batch of soap, and verify that its ph is between 5 and 8, depending on the soap’s purpose.

Handmade cold-process soaps are very gentle, with vitamins, natural glycerin, and emollient properties which are good for your skin. However, if you have unusual skin sensitivities, please check the list of ingredients, fully disclosed above. Also, you may wish to test soaps by ordering a small sample. Lather it on a section of your forearm only, and then wait 24-48 hours to see if you have an adverse reaction.

Please store unused soap in a cool, dry location with air circulation and away from sunlight. This aids shelf life and allows the bar of soap to continue improving over time. When in use, make sure the bar can dry out between baths or showers. A soap dish with elevated ridges works best. Try to use your soap within a 8-10 months of purchase.

Another floral in my "Texas Blooms" series... A scent that perfectly matches jasmine vines with profuse and delicate white bloom clusters. This is one of my best sellers (it rarely even makes it to Etsy), and always gets rave reviews!

You’ll get one bar of soap made the cold-process, old-fashioned way through the saponification (chemical reaction) of sodium hydroxide in spring water jasmine tea with the oils of:

☼ olive (conditioning)
☼ castor (conditioning, lather)
☼ palm kernel (hardness, lather)
☼ coconut (hardness, skin cleansing, lather)
☼ grapeseed (conditioning)
☼ sesame (conditioning)
☼ evening primrose (conditioning)
