This afghan is made of 100% acrylic yarn. The yarn is washer/drier safe. The colors do not run. And the yarn is great for children because it takes rough handling and frequent washing/dryings well.

The afghan is approximately 50 inches across, measuring from tip to tip

Pattern - Dish and Bath Scrubbies

These scrubbies are fast to make, use very little yarn, and are very useful around the house.

The smaller scrubbies are excellent for dishwashing, because with them you don't need a sink/pan of water with soap in it, you need only to thoroughly wet the scrubbie, drizzle a little dish soap on the cotton side, squish it a little to distribute the soap, grab a dish and wash.
It works on glassware, dishes, and pots & pans with equal good results.
I use the synthetic side for most washing, and the cotton side for wiping up.

The larger scrubbie is great for the bath. The synthetic side is a marvelous face & body cloth. It gently cleans and exfoliates your skin without harm, and is better than any other cloth or scrubber I've bought (IMHO).

The scrubbies will stand in for coasters~ just turn the cotton side up~

And Both scrubbies work well for scrubbing anything around the house . . . just don't confuse the face & body scrubbie with the clean-the-bathroom scrubbie~:o)

This lovely shawl is as soft and light as it is beautiful. Made of Sensations Rainbow Boucle yarn, it is very light, ultra soft, and yet very warm.

The curve of the neck-edge gives it purchase to stay on your shoulders without sliding off easily. And the open-work of the pattern allows the shawl to be warm without overheating you.

If placed into a laundry bag, it may be washed & dried by machine when set on the gentle wash cycle & warm heat in the dryer.

I have one like this that I dearly love and wear frequently.

The Beret and Keyhole Scarf Pattern is a quick-to-make set that is equaly good to keep for yourself or to give as a gift. I have made a set in one day when rushed.

The Beret may be worn as shown in the photo, or it may be pulled down to protect your hair and ears from the cold & wind.
The loop on the top of the beret may be replaced by a button or any other decorative touch that you prefer.

The Keyhole Scarf is a short, stylish scarf that does not unwrap or slide off. It doesn't get caught in your jacket or coat like longer scarves do. And it stays snug around your neck without the need to be pinned or secured by a clip.

I prefer to use Amore yarn (worsted weight) for it, because of the softness, and the drape of the yarn.

For a child, use a thinner yarn and corresponding hook.

She is an excellent Amigurumi to give to someone who is ill, in the hospital, having a rough time in life, or just because you care.

Her name is Angela, because she was my first. All subsequent angels have names with the first letter following the alphabet from A to Z.

This potholder is crocheted all in one piece, with one side in one color, the other side in a totally different or a coordinated color.

It makes a nice thick potholder, with no padding needed, and it won't bunch-up or slide in the hand like some 2-sided ones will.
