Bronzclay Beachcomber Pendant

This pendant is made from one of the newest additions to the jewelry market- Bronzclay. This is a powdered bronze, mixed with a clay body, which fires out and leaves a pure bronze piece. I formed this piece by hand from raw Bronzclay, then fired it. The pendant reminds me of what I might see on the beach when the tide is out. The highly textured piece is slightly patinaed, then polished on the high spots. The back is smooth. It comes complete with a 16" fine goldfilled chain, and measures 43mm x 28mm.

Be prepared to jingle when you wear this charm bracelet, made from twenty old pennies, with all their warts and discolorations. They have been ovalized with a rolling mill and are hung from a sterling silver double chain. They are paired with copper beads spiral wrapped with sterling wire. The bracelet 7.5" long and fits a 7-7.5" wrist. It closes with a simple sterling toggle clasp.

This lovely bracelet and earring set features my own boro bead rounds in a mixture of red, orange, brown, and gold, with blue highlights. The beads are set off by rich antiqued brass beads and findings, with smoky amber Swarovski crystals. The braclet has a large filigree leaf dangle. The clasp is one of my favorites- it's so easy to get on and off, since it is a magnetic foldover clasp.

Each earring has a boro bead and a smaller filigree leaf dangle. The bracelet fits a 7-8" wrist. The earrings hang about 1.9" below the brass ear wires.

This fat bracelet will certainly make a bold statement- unusual, colorful, fun! It is woven from seed beads in turquoise, green, raku, gold and pearl seed beads in a spiral pattern. Although it is quite thick (almost an inch), it is very light, since it's hollow. The center has one softflex wire, and the closure is a small sterling lobster clasp. The ends are capped with sterling bead caps.
The bracelet is 9" long and fits a 7-7.5" wrist.

Feel like a pixie when you wear these earrings. They are made from Plexiglas sheet, embellished with mulberry paper and a leaf stamp. This bracelet features one of the newest art materials available today- Bronzclay. This is similar to precious metal clay, but is made of powdered bronze particles, which when fired, produce a piece of pure bronze. This bracelet has 6 bronze discs with an intriciate pattern obtained from an antique button mold, joined together with heavy goldfilled rings. The closure is a vermeil gold toggle clasp. It makes a lovely jingley sound when worn- I guess that's why bells are made of bronze! It fits a 7" -8" wrist.
