Offered is an absolutely gorgeous set of antique 800 coin silver rose clip-on earrings. The earrings are done in open-work coin silver with exquisite detail on the flower petals and leaves. The earrings are 1 3/8" in width and 1 1/8" high.

These earrings are in fabulous condition. The silver has aged to a rich, soft patina. There are no scratches or damage to either of the pieces. The clips are in excellent condition, the hinges open and close smoothly, and they hold securely. On the back of the clips are stamped "800."

This is a wonderful, wonderful find, a one-of-a-kind and a real treasure.

Offered is a lovely vintage goldtone 18" twisted rope chain from about 1970-1980 time period. It is in brand-new, never worn condition. The chain is of very good quality and has the look of real gold but, since it is not marked, it is assumed to be goldtone metal.

It has a double clasp, a lobster claw and another similar clasp in between, the purpose of which is not clear. There is a tag on the jump ring on the clasp which is stamped "American Showcase." The clasp is marked "Korea."

This is a very high-end piece of, apparently, costume jewelry. It really does fool the eye into believing it is gold.

1928 jewelry was very popular in the late 1970s and early 1980s. This is a lovely piece from that manufacturer.

Offered for the holidays are a pair of vintage beaded earrings. The beads look as if they are made of satin. They are blue and white, surrounding a large white bead in the center.

The large center bead is 12-14mm in size or nearly 1/2". It is surrounded by light blue and white beads 5/16" in diameter, with fancy bead caps on the white beads. All of the beads are wired together and to the backing.

The back is made of what appears to be brass. The earrings are in good condition. The clips hold snugly.

These would be a cute addition to a vintage holiday jewelry collection.

Offered is the World Book Christmas Plate for 1985. This was the last plate in the series.

The plate is entitlted, "The Village School." The painting depicts the school on the hill, and children playing in the snow, sledding and decorating a Christmas tree.

On the reverse side are the details about the art work by Betsey Bates, the number (1393), the title and the manufacturer, location of manufacture (USA) and date.

The plate is 9 1/2" in diameter, is hand painted, and rimmed in gold. It has never been out of the box, and is in like-new, perfect condition.

The plate will be shipped in its original box, overpacked, with the Certificate of Authenticity.

Offered is an oval key fob with the number 7013 imprinted, along with the address, which has partially worn off, but it is from Wilkes-Barre, PA from approximately 1930-40.

The key fob measures 1 3/8" x 3/4". What makes this key fob interesting is what is inscribed on the front: "FOR THE PROMPT RETURN OF THESE KEYS IF LOST ONE DOLLAR REWARD."

This sweet little bow pin dates from the 1920s-1930s and is set with little gemstones. They are most likely crystals, as the back of the pin is closed. There are no missing crystals.

This pin is 2 3/4 inches long, and is about 3/8 inches wide. It is in very good shape, and the pin in the back locks securely.

I'm not sure whether the metal is silverplate over base, but it looks like "old" silver that has a soft patina to it.

The earrings hav a drop made up of two circles, to which are attached goldtone beads and a large yellow plastic bead in a scalloped setting.

The earrings are 1 7/8" long from the top to the bottom of the lower bead. It is 1 1/4" wide and the yellow beads are approximately 11/16" wide.

These vintage earrings are in good condition. The backs screw down smoothly and hold securely. The earrings would make an interesting addition to a vintage costume jewelry collection, or the components used to make other jewelry.

REDUCED-Antique Mesh Purse Silverplate Frame, Brass Trim and Chain, Painted Detail, Goatskin Lining ca 1900-1910 AS FOUND

This wonderful mesh purse came from an estate in Central Pennsylvania. It dates from the early 1900s, and is in wonderful condition. Approximately 90% of the original painted detail is intact on both sides. The frame is silverplated, and it closes tightly. There is a brass chain attached, and the purse is trimmed in brass chain. The lining inside is in perfect condition and is buttery-soft.

It is very likely that this is a Whiting and Davis mesh bag, but there is no visible identification confirming that assumption.

The purse is 8" from the tip of the two beads of the clasp, to the bottom of the brass chain trim. It is 4" wide at the frame. The is intricate detail on the silver frame.

The purse is in good condition. However, there is a small area where the mesh chain has come loose from the hinged part of the frame. This defect can be repaired, but no attempt was made by this seller to do so.

This is truly a find, a one-of-a-kind.

Here is a lovely pair of vintage goldtone screwback earrings from the early 1960s. The earrings have a drop in a delicate, fancy openwork teardrop shape, on which is mounted an openwork cup setting, with a mother-of-pearl round inside, set off with a rhinestone. Suspended from the bottom is another mother-of-pearl round drop.

The first drop is 1/2" in diameter. The bottom drop is 3/8" in diameter. The total drop from the top of the earring to the bottom of the lower drop, is 1 3/4".

These earrings are in very good condition. The backs screw down smoothly and hold snugly. They would make a wonderful gift or addition to a vintage costume jewelry collection.

Offered is a stainless steel Route 66 watch, vintage 80s, with a stainless steel link bracelet with locking clasp. It was never used or worn, and in fact has the plastic film still covering the back of the watch.

The face has a beautiful steel-blue reflecting face, with 12/3/6/9 indicated, and dashes in between. The seconds in between are indicated on the bezel. It has a new watch battery and is keeping accurate time.

The watch band is a women's large (sz 8) or young man's. A jeweler could remove a link or two for a smaller wrist. The width of the band is slightly over 1/2". The diameter of the face is 10/16" and the case is 1 1/16" in diameter.

This watch is in perfect condition and would make a wonderful gift.

Offered is a stunning necklace. It is goldtone with a 22" chain made up of very interesting elongated links. Attached to the chain is a ram's head, done in intricate detail. He has a ring in his mouth to which is attached a very fancy locket or pendant in a handsome, open-work design. The ram's head is 5/8" tall, and the locket is 2" high x 1 3/8" wide. The locket does not open. The necklace will hang almost 25" when worn.

The necklace appears never to have been worn, as it is in like-new condition. There are no scratches, staining or damage of any kind.

This is an absolutely stunning piece. I have never seen anything like it before. It would look fantastic worn with a sweater, vintage or current fashion.

Here is a beautiful example of turn of the century art on a cardboard candy box. Its whimsical theme is children dancing, anticipating Christmas.

The box is the size made to accommodate 1 lb. of candy, fudge for example. It is 4" x 3" x 1 3/4". It bears the trademark and name of the manufacturer on the flap -- "Manufactured by THE DAYTON PAPER NOVELTY CO. DAYTON, O USA."

This box was never used and is in pristine condition. It truly is a rare find.

Offered is a set of 4 bisque Kewpie-like Dolls, vintage early 1920s, from Japan. The faces and hair are painted and glazed, and the arms are jointed at the shoulders.

The dolls are 3 3/8" tall and are in very good condition. They are all marked JAPAN.

Bisque dolls like this, from this time period, are increasingly rarer all the time. They would make a wonderful addition to an antique doll collection.

Offered is a bisque doll, glazed, and signed. She is 3 5/8" tall, and has arms jointed at the shoulders. She is wearing a hand-made polka dot dress with a sash around her waist, and a ribbon around her hair. Her face and ribbon in her hair are painted and glazed.

The doll is marked "JAPAN" and bears the number 1145 as well as a trademark.

This little bisque doll is in excellent condition, with no damage, only slight soil in crevices, which can be easily cleaned with a mild detergent and soft brush.

Bisque dolls such as these are becoming rarer all the time, and are wonderful additions to an antique doll collection.

Offered is a watch manufactured for Disney by Innovative Time Corporation, featuring the Disney character, Pluto.

The watch is 1980s vintage, and in like-new condition. The watch crystal is absolutely without any scratches, the back of the case is perfect, and the plastic watch band appears to have not been worn at all.

The back of the case indicates that the watch was made in Japan. The buckle on the band indicates that the band was made in China. The case us 1 3/8" in diameter; the face is
1 1/8" in diameter. The watch band is 11/16" wide and is 7" long. It is 9-position adjustable to a much smaller size.

The watch is running and keeps good time. It has a sweep second hand.

This watch would make a very popular gift, especially for a collector of Disney memorabilia.

Offered here is a set of round goldtone cufflinks and tie tac/tie chain vintage 1980s in their original box. They feature a white gemstone in the center of each.

The cufflinks are over 3/4" in diameter, and the tie tac over 3/8" in diameter. They are a combination of polished and brushed goldtone. It is impossible to determine the identity of the gemstones without removing them from the settings, but it is possible that they are white topaz. They are definitely more than rhinestones. This set was made by Foster Fine Jewelry, and the pieces bear the Foster name.

This set is in good condition. There is a very minor tarnish mark inside the outer ring of one of the cufflinks, but a soft toothbrush and mild liquid detergent removed most of the tarnish after this photo was taken, and further improved the shine. They should clean very nicely in jewelry cleaner.

The set would make a wonderful gift.

Here is a fabulous tie, completely made of pearls, vintage 1970s. It is absolutely gorgeous!

The tie, from the top of the knot to the end of the point at the bottom, measures 15". It is 1 5/8" wide. The pearls are 4mm, and are a lovely ivory-white color. The tie has two strings of pearls at each side of the top of the knot, and it fastens with a spring ring.

This formal tie is in absolutely perfect condition. There are no missing or loose pearls, and there is no soil on the strings. It appears not to have been worn at all.

Can you imagine pairing this tie with a lady's black tuxedo? How VERY elegant. This is definitely a STATEMENT PIECE, and one that would be so much fun to wear. It would make a wonderful gift, or a terrific addition to a formal wardrobe, vintage or current.

RARE Antique Tapestry Commemorating Charles A. Lindbergh Flight 1927

Offered is a Charles A. Lindbergh, "Lucky Lindy," tapestry, commemorating his New York to Paris flight of May 20, 1927. The tapestry was made in the year of his flight, was made in Paris, France, and is registered. The origin location and registration are woven into the back of the tapestry.

The measurements of the tapestry are 19" high x 56" wide.

This historical tapestry should appeal to a variety of early aeronautic history buffs and powered-flight collectors. Executed in a wide horizontal format, the tapestry features a chronological visual documentation of Lindbergh's ground-breaking solo flight from New York to the French coast. On the left, or "Western" side, his monoplane over-flies New York City replete with its iconic skyline of skyscrapers and prominent Statue of Liberty in the harbor. On the right, or "Eastern" side of the Atlantic Ocean, the "Spirit of St. Louis" approaches its destination of Paris, the Seine River, and the landmark Eiffel Tower. In all--including the close-up foreground expanded angled view--Lindy's famous plane is shown three times.

Though overall faded from age and display, the tapestry was originally woven in subdued earth-tone colors. The tapestry is in good condition. It shows slight fraying at the two top corners, as if it were hung by thumbtacks. Over the pocket of Lindbergh's uniform, there is a rectangular cut 1" x 3/8", as if someone had cut out a ribbon. It has water stains, which can be removed by soaking the tapestry in cool water with Woolite or Oxyclean.

This is a fabulous find, one of a disappearing number of Charles A. Lindbergh memorabilia.

Here is a lovely brass-plated crucifix vintage 1940s. It shows fine detail, and is well made. It is heavy and has a very substantial feel. The crucifix is 6" long.

The top loop has broken off. However, someone with skill using a soldering iron can most likely attach a ring in its place. The plating is also worn in 4 places on the back.

Offered are a pair of earrings, vintage 1970, that have a Eastern feel to them. They are goldtone, made up of two rosettes, to which is attached a circle-in-a-circle drop, and from this hangs a lovely turquoise-like bead, with a sabre on both side of the bead.

Here are a pair of earrings that would be absolutely fabulous, except for the fact that one of the sabres is missing. For this reason, they are being offered AS-IS, since the individual pieces are too nice to discard the pair.

The rosettes are 7/16" in diameter, are clip-ons, and have a loop with a jump ring for attaching another piece. The circle-within-a-circle is 5/8" in diameter. The sabres are 3/4" long including the jump rings, and the blue, marbleized, turquoise-like bead is 8mm, and has a goldtone jumpring attached.

These individual pieces would make a wonderful necklace, and the rosettes could be used, along with drop beads, to make another pair of earrings. Too good to pass up!

Offered is a gorgeous 54" necklace of 8mm pearls, vintage 1960s. The pearls are individually knotted, and all of the knots are pristine white.

The pearls are high-end faux pearls. They have a cold feel to them, and are an ivory-white. They glow softly in the light. They bring Jacqueline Kennedy to mind.

The clasp is a 12mm flat-backed pearl with a silvertone locking tab. There is a slight tarnish on the end of the locking tab, but it is not visible, as the tab slips entirely into female end of the clasp.

Tangee lipstick and rouge are no longer manufactured, and the Tangee name has passed into history, no longer in business. But who doesn't remember their mother or grandmother wearing Tangee lipstick, which was light and transparent, similar to lip gloss of today, without the "goo."

Offered is a beautiful vintage turquoise ring set in sterling silver. The ring has a gold filled ring guard affixed, which sizes it to approximately a 6. Without the ring guard, it is most likely a size 7 1/2. The setting measures 1" x 7/8", and the stone measures 5/8" x 3/8".

The ring dates from the early 1970s. It is marked "MEXICO," "Sterling Silver," and is signed with initials that appear to be "UB," but it is difficult to determine with certainty. If the initials are UB as they appear, the ring was made by Unger Brothers.

The ring is in very good condition. There is no staining, no sign of excessive wear, and the ring is in perfect round. There is a minor flake in the turquoise, however, hence the price is lower than it would be without the flake.

This ring is a lovely vintage piece, and a wonderful turqoise and silver ring.

Offered is a pair of chains with very interesting and lovely links. They are both 16", one goldtone, one silvertone. Both are inscribed "GERMANY" on the clasp.

The clasps are a male/female slide locking type. It appears that they are signed on the bottom of the tab of the male end, but it is difficult to identify the signature, even under a 20X loupe.

The links are flat. Both chains are in excellent condition, with no staining, no rust, no breakage or damaged links.

These interesting chains are of an unique design, not commonly seen. They would make a wonderful addition to a jewelry collection, vintage or current. They are definitely high-end.

Offered is an interesting and fun goldtone ring, size 6 1/2-7, with an oval "gazing ball." Its convex shape distorts images much like a Fun House.

The oval is framed in goldtone, and measures 7/18". The band is very thick measuring 1/8". The ring is heavy. It is in good condition. There is a slight black spot near the edge of the glass, which suggests a slight loss of mirroring in that one place.

This is an interesting, whimsical vintage piece.

For serious collectors of "statement pieces," here is a gorgeous, sparkly rhinestone and silvertone brooch from the 1980s. It sparkles and throws rainbow colors in the sunlight.

The brooch is 1 7/16" wide. The center rhinestone is 1/2" wide, the baguette rhinestones surrounding the center are 3/8" x 3/16" and the round rhinestones on the outside are 3/16" wide. The rhinestones are set from the outside in rising up in layers to a dome with a depth of 3/4".

This brooch is in fabulous condition, like new. The rhinestones are prong-set, so they are secure. There are no missing rhinestones, no staining, no tarnish, no damage whatsoever. The pinback is firmly affixed and locks securely.

Offered is a very interesting antique locket. It was gold wash over metal, probably brass, and bears a cameo, a white carving on Wedgewood Blue stone. It depicts a maiden holding an urn or bowl (?) on her head, wearing flowing garments which are blowing in the wind. He is holding the hand of a winged cherub.

Inside the locket are two photos under glass, one of a father holding a baby, and on top of it is a trimmed photo of a young toddler. The locket is 1 1/16" tall and 1 1/8" wide. It has a generous bail attached to the ring at the top, 3/8" in height, and 3/16" inner diameter.

This locket is being offered "as is," because the gold wash is worn in several places, particularly on the back, and there are two minor chips on the edge of the cameo. Still, it is a wonderful and unusual piece, and a very nice collector's item.

Here is a 1980 Winter Olympics Memorabilia/Souvenir one-size-fits-all hat with its original tag and hangar. It was never worn, so it is in pristine condition. Included also are three souvenir "Official Ski" tickets.

The hat is knit, and its tag inside says "ORLON Acrylic." It also indicates that it should be washed in warm water, not dry-cleaned. The white knitted cap is still pure white, and has not yellowed with age. It has been stored in a plastic bag since 1980, untouched and out of the light. It is unisex, and a one size fits all.

This is a perfect gift for someone who remembers how important those games were to the U.S. -- when our amateur men's hockey team beat the Russian team for the gold. What a moment!

Offered is a wonderful brooch that dates to the early 1950s or slightly earlier. It is white metal, aged to a grey, and can only be described as "pot metal." However, the rhinestones are wonderful, and the way that they are set is intriguing.

The center rhinestone is a whopping 1/2" in diameter. It is enhanced by a filigree design surrounding it. There are 7 slightly smaller rhinestones forming a circle around the center, each of those rhinestones 3/8". Lastly, there are 7 small rhinestones set along the outside in a flower-petal setting. These smallest rhinestones are 7/32" in diameter.

There is nothing on the back indicating that this was a brooch -- no trace of a pinback. Therefore, this piece is being offered "as is," intended to be used in making something lovely to accent a dress, a handbag, or a cloche hat.

Offered are a pair of beautiful silvertone screwback earrings prong-set with rhinestones in triple drops.

The single rhinestone at the top is approximately 4mm or just short of 1/8". Below the top rhinestone are three drops with 4mm rhinestones, two drops of 4 rhinestones, and the center drop of 5 rhinestones. The center drop is 1" long, and the two outer drops are 3/4" long.

Here is an absolutely gorgeous cameo set. It is an alabaster-white stone cameo (NOT shell or plastic), set on a polished brown and tan cabochon disc, surrounded by an intricately designed and cut frame in antique goldtone and prong-set with small round reddish-brown beads.

The cameo is intricately etched on the reverse side, the pin is firmly attached and locks securely, and there is a pendant bail at the top of the reverse side. The brooch/pendant measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/8". The brooch is in excellent condition with no scratches or damage of any kind.

The earrings are clip-backs. The springs work properly and the tabs grip securely. The earrings are in excellent condition as well, with no evidence of scratches or damage.

Offered is an absolutely magnificent set of pendant and earrings set with amazingly sparkly stones. From their sparkle and cut, I believe they could be cubic zirconia. However, the color and sparkle reminds me very much of Moissanite, though that man-made stone is much more recent than CZs.

The stones in the earrings are approximately 7mm in diameter and are estimated to be about 1.3 carats each. The stone in the pendant is about 10mm and is estimated to be about 3.5 carats. They are extremely sparkly and flash with colors of blue and white. They are a very good imitation of a semi-precious stone -- diamond, zircon or white topaz.

The pendant includes a 16" goldtone chain with lobster claw clasp. The earrings have surgical steel posts and plastic comfort backs. It does not appear that this set has ever been worn.

These lovely carved cinnabar vases are a pair and stand 9" tall alone, and 10 1/2" including the footed, mahogany stands. They are marked "MADE IN CHINA," and are dated approximately to the late 1920s or early 1930s. The pair were a wedding gift to a family member in the early 1930s.

Antique Lovely and Unique Turquoise and Coral Butterfly Necklace ca 1930-40

Offered is a very unique necklace. It is a strand of metal beads, 7mm in diameter. The necklace is 16" long, and it has a hook-and-eye clasp. The beads and butterflies are believed to be 1930-1940s vintage, but they have been restrung on modern, plastic coated wire.

What is unique about this necklace are the butterflies. They are made up of blue-green and brick red mosaic material, sealed under a thick lacquer. The material is most likely crushed stones -- turquoise and red coral. The metal appears to be silver, but is not marked. There is a strong possibility that it is Alpaca Silver. All of the butterflies are heavy in feel and weight.

There is one large butterfly (2" wide and 1 1/4" high) at the center of the necklace and two smaller butterflies (1 1/4" wide and 7/8" high) hooked on either side of the large butterfly. They are affixed to the wire through double loops on the back of the butterflies. There is a third small butterfly and 7 extra beads included.

This is a very unique find. It could be worn as is, or the butterflies used to make other jewelry.

Offered is a sterling silver ring mount, size 8, with two triangles on either side, accented by 2 round, white gemstones, 4mm. It is possible that these are rhinestones, but more likely that they are white topaz, white zircon or quartz crystal, since they are mounted in fine sterling.

The ring mount has a lovely, soft patina from age. It is in very good condition, with no major scratches, wear, staining or damage of any kind. Its total weight is 0.336 ozt.

The ring will accommodate a rectangular stone 16mm x 12mm. It would be beautiful with a turquoise, or any faceted colored gemstone or cabochon. This is a lovely ring.
