It was one of the items placed in the silent auction and it sold for more actual value. That does not happen often in silent auctions, so I was thrilled!

After creating that necklace, I decided to also offer a simpler, more streamlined version

Made to order: 1" (25mm) sterling silver hand stamped disc says "nurture" while a smaller disc is stamped with two tiny feet. Please specify if you prefer the hammered texture in the 2nd photo or the smooth surface of the 1st photo in notes to seller.

It comes on a 18" snake chain. However, I will happily deduct the cost of the chain if you already have a chain you want to use. Simply leave a note to seller to not send the chain and I will refund the difference to your paypal account.

This pendant is hand stamped. It will vary slightly from the photograph shown. If you would like the pendant to be personalized, please convo with your ideas.

An addition to the Nightmare Insomnia Series, the shape is slightly more elongated and thinner than usual. The stylized "spiders" sit at each end of a black base bead with dots of highly reactive silver glass that have been poked, encased to trap an air bubble in each dot, and then melted flat.

Amazingly, the color of this bead is from a single rod of glass wound over a core of clear glass. This "magic" glass contains a high silver content that creates these really cool striations in color and reulted in rainbows of color on each end. Because it was used over clear, it has a transluscent quality in certain lighting situations. Nightmare Insomnia Mystical Garden Trellis Lampwork Focal Bead

Mystical Garden Trellis was almost a disaster...but I managed to avoid trashing it and I am so glad persistence paid off this time!

This focal is a showstopper! You can see bits of dichro and blue ribbon and bit of color layering peeking out from under the fine silver mesh. The mesh was encased in clear, and murrini applied. Yes, the metallic looking "caps" are actually glass and represent stylized spiders in *my mind*...which is probably not a place you want to visit ;o)

One caveat...if you want a perfectly symmetrical bead, and perfectly flat ends, this is NOT the bead for you. However, this one has to be seen in person to appreciate the detail.

Vintage Skeleton Key measuring 2 3/4" long and was stuck directly into the flame of the torch, and hot molton glass applied into a bead shape. I have created a verb for this process by saying the key has been "lampworkified"

I've been fascinated lately with jewelry with moving "parts" that beg to be played with. This is just the beginning of my exploration of this theme. Add the fun of movement to a gorgeous antique key with it's aged patina left intact and waxed with a diluted Turtle Wax to prevent clothing stains, and this is the perfect simple, yet elegant pendant to put on a long chain or ribbon.

There is still a small amount of bead release left in the bead hole. As you can imagine, it is difficult to get all of it out while it is attached to the key ;-)

Terra is one of my favorite glass colors and sadly, it is no longer being made. Terra has a very high silver content and the colors are spectacular. I've sold two sets using Terra in the last week. So, if you like this color and you like shells, get them while you can because even though I take measures to preserve Terra as much as possible, it will not be around forever.

This listing contains four shells measuring approximately 18mm x 18mm. For reasons I cannot explain, I made two with 1/16" mandrels and two with 3/32" mandrels. Don't ask, I don't know why. Sometimes it's like I was drinking and torching. Don't tell anyone, since it's probably dangerous. (Just kidding, I can count on one hand how many drinks I have each year)

You will also receive 2 square "nugget" shaped beads. They have nicely tapered sides and are so comfortable to wear in bracelets. Both nuggets were made on 1/16" mandrel and have clear dots on both sides to magnify the effects of the Terra. They measure 15mm x 15 mm.

This lampwork focal bead needs to be held in your hand and seen with your own eyes to be appreciated! Inside this bead is a fine silver mesh that I purposely left a "hole" in the mesh so that you can stare inside the mesh. After the mesh was encased in clear, it is magnified and in takes on a different look at different angles. It's a very cool effect. On the surface of the bead is some delicate color and accents of black that were swirled around.

Amazingly, the glass used for this bead is red, but it has been so heavily diluted with clear, it looks more orange than red. The bead was made with a clear core, transparent red, dichroic glass, then lots more clear on top and then squeezed to a cube-like shape (these are longer than wide).

These beads look stunning simply strung on a sterling silver chain (the clasp must be able to fit through a 3/32" hole). Turquoise and Lime Antique Skeleton Key with lampwork bead

Vintage Skeleton Key measuring 2 3/4" long that was stuck directly into the flame of the torch, and hot molton glass applied into a bead shape. I have created a verb for this process and saying this key has been "lampworkified"

Bead is turquoise, with lime green raised dots, trapping an air bubble inside each dot. The bubble is magnified depending on the angle which you look into the raised dots.

I've been fascinated lately with jewelry with moving "parts" that beg to be played with. This is just the beginning of my exploration of this theme. Add the fun of movement to a gorgeous antique key with it's aged patina left intact and waxed with a diluted Turtle Wax to prevent clothing stains, and this is the perfect simple, yet elegant pendant to put on a long chain or ribbon.

There is still a small amount of bead release left in the bead hole. As you can imagine, it is difficult to get all of it out while it is attached to the key ;-)

The Story: As I played with the pile of chainmaille flowers, I thought of how a medieval queen might notice how beautiful the armor of her soldiers looked gleaming in the sunlight and the interesting pattern of the rings. "Maybe I can get the craftsman to create something more feminine for me to wear as jewelry" and chainmaille flowers were born.

Of course the queen would need something soft against her neck and be able to wear her necklace with any type of neckline. It would also be very important to add an amulet that resembled an eye to look out for her safety.

Sterling Silver and Copper Chainmaille "Flowers" were created by with 37 rings-each having to be opened and closed by hand. Each flower is 1" (25mm) diameter.

A Glass Addictions bead dangles from the center flower.

Two hand dyed silk ribbons are threaded onto the necklace and can be removed if desired for cleaning or to change the look or color of the necklace. The ribbons are simply tied in the back of the neck.

Length adjusts from as tight a choker as you can tie it, all the way up to about 30" long.

These beads were made with a very pale aqua core, then layered with a red dichroic glass and then more pale aqua on top of the dichro. The molten bead was then squeezed to a cube-like shape. You will get all three beads.

The funny (meaning frustrating) thing with these beads is I cannot get a good accurate photo. Not only do these beads look different from every angle, but they look different from every angle of the camera too. There is no black and no white as it shows in some photos.

Vintage Skeleton Key measures 2 3/4" (70mm)

Garnet and Ivory Lampwork bead moves freely and measures 5/8" (17mm)diameter.

I've been fascinated lately with jewelry with moving "parts" that beg to be played with. This is just the beginning of my exploration of this theme. Add the fun of movement to a gorgeous antique key with it's aged patina left intact and waxed with a diluted Turtle Wax to prevent clothing stains, and this is the perfect simple, yet elegant pendant to put on a long chain or ribbon.

There is still a small amount of bead release left in the bead hole. As you can imagine, it is difficult to get all of it out while it is attached to the key ;-)

Handmade purple and blue fused glass donut encased in a layer of clear for more interest. Wrapped in sterling silver wire and strung on a hand dyed silk ribbon from Cahootz (on etsy).

Both ends of ribbon have been strung through a sterling silver coil and adorned with handmade sterling silver squiggle charms. Adjusts from 0" to 25" in no time.

Hefty weight Double Spiral 4 in 1 Chainmaille bracelet will make any woman's wrist look incredibly dainty. However, this bracelet would also be perfect for a man and can easily be altered to fit any wrist (and most men *probably* don't want the dangling lampwork bead either...easily removed!)

Measures 7 3/4" long and 3/8" wide. All sterling silver rings were woven into this pattern with my own two hands. In addition, I created the lampwork bead using a torch.

Not ready to let go of summer? Me neither. Shimmery, sparkly, magic dichroic glass donut, fused in my kiln, and edges coldworked on a grinder using various grits. The edges were left frosted because I like them like that :)

Strung on a hand dyed silk ribbon from Cahootz. Each end of the ribbon is strung through a sterling silver coil so you can wear this necklace as a choker or as long as 23". Each end contains a Hill Tribe silver bead and is secured with a knot.

I love to wear lime green. For some reason, I rarely actually use lime green in the beads I make. In the quest to work with colors I rarely use, I made this focal using a lime green base with red, orange, yellow and purple dots.

The focal is a tube bead with a slight curve so that the center has a small indentation. The purple dots were left raised along the line of the indentation. The yellow dots are slightly raised with a small amount of bumpy texture.

Bead Measurements: 55mm long x 14mm wide (approximately 2 inches x 1/2 inch)

Swinging, dangling fun! I adore this style of earrings and can't stop making them in all colors of the rainbow. These just happen to be a pale translucent with transparent purple glass frit.

The two beads on these earrings are NOT an exact match. One is a little more transparent than the other. If this is going to bother you, these are NOT the earrings for you! I have some customers that prefer their earrings not to match exactly.

Sterling silver ear wires are a snug fit so you will not need those rubber stopper thingys!

From the top of the earwire to the tip of the earring measures 2 1/4". The earrings dangle 1 3/4" from the earwire. The lampwork beads are approximately 1/2" diameter.

Crunched focal bead utilizing 3 different shades of pink, plus accented with a bit of amethyst. The "ribbon" in the bead is actually copper mesh that is fully encased. The details of this bead are highly enlarged. I did not see the edges of the ribbon were frayed until I looked at the photos. Having the bead sitting here in front of me, I cannot see the frayed edges without putting this thing right in front of my eyeballs. There is also a small bubble on the right side of the ribbon.

35mm tall x 28mm at its widest point x 11mm thick

Created on a 3/32" mandrel so hole is approximately 3mm
