This brooch is a copy of a custom order I made for someone who wanted it to match her dark brown winter coat. But of course it will match any lighter coloured spring or summer coat as well. Or just pin it on anything you like.

Where normally I give my flowers a centre in a matching colour this bright red just asked for something more dramatic. The black wooden bead from vintage leftover stock was exactly what I was looking for.

The flower itself was crocheted in cotton yarn from a reclaimed cotton sweater and measures 3.15'' or 8 cm across. I fitted it with a quite large standard safety pin for easy attachment to thicker surfaces like wool or jeans fabric.

I can reproduce the brooch in almost any colour, feel free to ask.

Though just a simple round in sc worked off with a line in black this lovely violet that for me just defines the late Sixties didn't need much more. On top this item is one hunderd percent eco friendly and your purchase is equally guilt free!

Please note that my model is slick, bald and the ears are rigid. On a real head the hat will have more grip and will pull down deeper over the ears even if the head is larger than my model.

All my work is done in reused or leftover yarns. In this case a neighbour passed on a large skein of acrylic to me she didn't need anymore. I'd never buy acrylic but as I saved it from the landfill I consider all I made from it guilt free.

These lovely earrings with non-allergic steel hooks are from around 1988. The rounds measure about 1.37'' or 3,5 cm across. The motif is inlayed on a strong dark brown base, which is the colour of the back.

As this is handwork with natural materials the colours of the separate rounds are not 100 % identical which I think only adds to their charm.

To avoid any dissapointment: There is a spot at the back of one of them that looks like wear or damage, but it was like this when I got them and in fact is no more than a natural flaw of the material; it hasn't gone worse since.

I really loved wearing these but I think it is time now to release them from the box I have locked them away in for so many years already!

A coworker asked me for a small bag to carry around wallet, cell phone and company card. The things you want to take with you to meetings and conferences without having to drag your whole large purse with you. End of the day just put your mini bag in the purse.

This is my first try out. Not completely happy yet with the short handles that were hand sewed on, but the way it turned out I think a teenager or child would like it too.

The bag is about 8.5'' or 21,5 cm wide and 7'' or 18 cm high. Crocheted completely with fabric strips cut from reclaimed t-shirts. The zipper is equally reused and the handles and zipper stops are made from an old black pair of jeans.

I can't stop looking at this fabulous colour. Then the large glass pearl at the centre of the brooch just does it for me.

I crocheted the flower in a leftover of thick soft cotton. Luxurious quality yarn from my mom's eighties stock you don't find often! The bead is new.

This is a very difficult colour to photograph and in reality it is a bit 'colder' or bluer. This is what sunlight does to it, but in flashlight it turns too blue!

The extra length (over 79'' or 2 meters) allows you to wrap the scraf loosely around you several times or knot it in any way you like.

Ten years ago I had so much fun crocheting these simple tight fitting hats. Out of fashion for adults since then I recently found out little girls fancied my leftover hats from that time a lot and so I made this one in a small size suitable for kids.

Here I played with lines in a seed stitch which made the hat a bit tighter than the other models. Though it still stretches to fit my display doll, who's head meaures about 20'' or 50 cm around, I'd recommend it for a size up to 19.25'' or 49 cm.

Please note that my model is slick, bald and the ears are rigid. On a real head the hat will have more grip and will pull down deeper over the ears.

All my work is done in reused or leftover yarns. In this case a neighbour passed on a large skein of acrylic to me she didn't need anymore. I'd never buy acrylic but as I saved it from the landfill I consider all I made from it guilt free.

This crocheted scarf has everyting I want from a scarf and hopefully so do you. It's not too wide, about 20 cm. It's 2 meters long, so you can wrap it around you twice for extra warmth. It's light weight (75 grams), airy and soft, yet lush, comfortable, and warm.

Finished off with unique chained fringes with bright yellow plastic beads. They remind me of the bells on a harlequin suit.

Made from leftovers bought at a flea market.

Due to winter light the colour came out a bit too blue in the photographs, in reality it's really turquoise.

I think the colour and absence of decoration make it a typical men's hat, but that doesn't mean a girl can't wear it. However, this one is a quite large size of 23'' or 58 cm.

It's made of a combination of wool (the blue) and soft comfortable acrylic (the black). The lower side is a double layer, folded to the outside and the inside part is made of the soft black yarn.

My first ever sale on Etsy was one of my flower necklaces. Now back in an even prettier and smaller design! Wear Spring around your neck in these shortening days.

Crocheted flower pendant hanging from a purple coloured cord matching the wooden bead in its heart. It is crocheted in a fine vintage leftover hardened cotton yarn, which gives a very firm result and the flower won't loose shape or flatten. The tiny wooden bead comes from leftover 1970's stock. The cord is reused and taken from a deconstructed piece.

The flower measures about 1.2'' or 3 cm across. Total cord length (including closure) is a bit over 16'' or 41 cm.

Flower can be detachted from cord for washing. Be careful not to damage bead varnish.

This simple piece is suitable for a child (not recommended to -6 years) but will fit a slim necked adult as well.

Tiny pendant, part of a larger deconstructed piece hung from a thin wax cord equally taken from a deconstructed necklace. Pendant is sterling silver but not stamped. Pink pearly gem, probably moonstone.

The cord is just under 16'' or about 40 cms long. Closes with a silver coloured fine screw lock. When I was a kid I found those the most easy to put on without help.

I fitted this brooch with a quality brooch pin which is more suiteable for pinning on (jeans) jackets with a slick surface than softer wool surfaces as the lock of the pin may pull the soft fiber. I make all my own 't-yarn' by cutting reclaimed garments into strips. The fabric used for this item is a micro rib which gives the crochet a sturdier and more rigid texture than regular fine jerseys. Perfect for a bowl!

This actually once was a logo'd T-shirt from an Irish bar in Amsterdam! Cut in strips from the unprinted parts I crocheted this cute pouch from it to use as a coin purse or to hold cosmetics or other small things in your bag.

This was my first attempt at a new model where I can machine sew the zipper in. Therefore I had to make a zipper stopper which came out a bit large. It's up to you to decide if you find that disturbing, but it sure is practical. I used a piece of reclaimed black jeans fabric for that which I turned inside out because the outside colour had faded a bit. The zipper itself comes from a reclaimed Bulaggi bag and carries the Bulaggi trademark logo on the puller, which also has a large hole to attach your own zipper adornment or a phone strap if you like.

The item measures about 5.6 x 4.3'' or 14,5 x 11 cm.

Handwash hot, rinse gently. Press out rinse water between towels, lay flat to dry.
