I adore this kitschy vintage top! It is handmade and I am quite sure it's one of a kind. I would date it from the 60's but being that it is handmade it is hard to say for sure. Even the buttons are handmade. The fabric is a medium weight barkclothe and it is finished inside with black bias tape. There is a wee little bit of smocking around the yoke style neckline. Very artsy and campy! The model is a size 4 but depending on how you like your fit this top could work for anyone up to about a size 10.

In Very Good vintage condition. There is a wee bit of wear on the fabric covered buttons.

This is a really lovely abstract print pure silk top (or jacket) from China. It is completely lined with a gray silk lining. The buttons are a purple-ish pink with gold glitter sparkles inside. The silk fabric is an amazing abstract print in hues of lavender, deep maroon, silvery gray, taupe and turquoise. There is purple silk piping around the collar, sleeves etc. It would be really cute with jeans and flats.

Vintage 80s Retro Palm Print Dress

I love this one. It's got a great shape and the fabric is killer too. This is a pull on shirt dress... really slouchy up top, you can wear it buttoned all the way to the neck or open at the neck with a tank underneath perhaps, whichever you think looks best. There are three huge belt loops (two up front one in back at center) and I paired it with this bamboo buckled belt which will come with the dress. The pockets are cut wide to sort of stick out at an angle from your hips. It's classic 80's styling. The colors are turquoise and sort of a latte brown hue both dark and light with white. Almost like a batik. I see it with white patent shoes and a rad 80's clutch with some big white plastic jewelry. Perfect!

You just don't lay hands on too many gabardine pieces... they are becoming more and more scarce and highly prized as collectibles. This one is a real gem. It's a 40's era bubble gum pink wool and rayon blend gab made for Bermuda Flannel. I love the 40's stylized and tailored details with the shoulder pleats and of course that adorable little breast pocket.

It's in pretty darned good shape... the gold metal buttons are pretty scratched up but other than that it has maintained it's integrity pretty well.

This is one of the most beautiful textile pieces I have laid hands on. I love the rich color and print on this fabric. I would wear it as a scarf but it could most certainly be made into a really fabulous huge pillow as well.

I *think* this is a heavy silk and may be as old as the 30's. It measures out at 31.5" wide by 33" tall. The top and bottom are hemmed and the sides are a more raw edge. The print is one sided. It is in very good condition... ready to be worn or made into a lovely pillow.

This dress is so elegant! The beading is just gorgeous and really adds the perfect amount of sparkle to an otherwise classic, simple 50's design. I love the little bow tie at the waist line as well. Darling! This is made from a slubby weave silk shantung and is lined in silk as well. The dress zips up the back. The color is a pale oatmeal hue, it would be lovely against either very pale or very dark skin. I can only spot one missing bead from the design on the front. It is not readily seen... you have to hunt for it.

Adorable! This is a great early 70's vintage tailored suit jacket by Evan Picone originally sold at Saks Fifth Avenue. It's made from the softest cotton and would be a perfect weight and style for spring. The lining is also cotton and is done in a navy and white pinstripe to contrast with the outside dots patterning. There is a vent at the back of the jacket, two real front hip pockets lined in stripes and three MOP (Mother of Pearl) buttons at the cuffs. Two buttons (MOP) close the front. I see this with a solid color tee underneath and skinny jeans! Really cute!

Stunning Vintage Gold Satin Brocade Cocktail Dress

This is from my private collection. I have decided to let it go because it is too big for me and deserves to be worn!

This is a 50's silk satin two piece ensemble in a gold maple leaf brocade fabric that is seriously to die for. The skirt base has a sheer silk top portion that zips up the back (metal zip) and then the little top goes on over it and buttons up the back. Gorgeous! This is really a show stopper. It looks stunning on.

Measurements are...

Bust: 38" on Top/ 37.5" on under shell (with darts on both pieces)
Length of top: 18" (shoulder seam to hem)
Waist: 30" (no stretch in fabric)
Hip: 39"
Length of skirt from waist: 26.5"

About a size medium or an 8/10. Entire dress is fully lined.

In good condition... there is one spot about the size of a dime on the upper left shoulder area where it looks like someone tried to remove an old stain (pen mark?) not very noticeable now. The inner/under shell of the dress has stains in the pit area on one side. This cannot be seen while it is being worn. If you have a fabulous dry cleaner that you really trust they may be successful in getting it out. There are very minor dings in the fabric here and there, nothing major anywhere. It is a gently worn piece of vintage with plenty of future cocktail parties left in it!

For days when you plan to smack your bubble gum and be a little on the dark and sassy side... this has three quarter length sleeves and a nice poof on the shoulder. It has a wide ribbed waist band. I overexposed one shot so you can see the bubble stitch the whole thing is knit in. There is a multi colored bright pastel metallic thread running through the knitting. Very much a one of a kind item...

This is a highly collectible piece of vintage Hawaiian clothing. Alfred Shaheen is one of the best known of the Hawaiian garment and textile designers of the 20th Century. Shaheen was active from 1948 into the 1980s, but he is best known for his work in the 1950s. This is a 100% cotton shirt from the 50's. It's a stunning pattern and colorway. A rare find!

This fab jacket is all about the fabric for me. It's the definition of uber cool mod design. It's like a lemon drop gone atomic. I am sure it was originally part of a set with a dress that went underneath. This piece is fully lined, the fabric is a substantial textile of nice quality. Not sure what the fabric content is... the smooth bits feel silky and the raised bits feel like cotton. The diamond pattern is actually raised up of the fabric.

This has four big fabric covered buttons up the front.No pockets... just clean simple lines. There are darts at the bust.

Never one to pass up a (nother) cute apron, I have here a super sweet, handmade, kitschy little red apron with a really unusual design. This has two big front pockets a bow tie at center on the waist that can be scrunched tighter if need be and it has buttons at the sides of the waist (the corresponding button holes are down on the top corners of the pockets) which I can't quite figure out the purpose of. At any rate the print is bright and adorable with scarecrows, super retro old cartoon style birds and checkerboard patches.

14" across the front waist panel with a 29" long tie at each side. Apron front is 17" long.

Excellent condition. Cotton. Best for a smaller sized person.

I love this! Retro western shirt has white pearly snap buttons(three on each cuff too) and a red embroidery streaked with rainbow colors and gold metallic sparkle. Yee haw! It's a smaller size and is really fitted. Totally sexy. Was probably originally a boys shirt as it is sized a 14.5 neck, 32 sleeve. It was hard to capture the true green hue of this... the sun washed it out a bit. It's deeper in color in person.

It has white rick rack trim all over the place and a big 7 inch wide pocket on the front hip. There is also a tall slit up the front opposite the pocket. This is such a beautiful piece of material... worked into a really fabulous dress. It's simple in shape but has a great pleated panel at the chest below the split neckline. There are hidden pockets at the hips and it zips up the back. There is a long thin fabric waist tie that comes with it, I left it off in the photos as I prefer the look of the piece without it. The large print plaid color way is a gorgeous array of blues ranging from indigo to turquoise.

Made for "Siamese Trader" of 100% Thai Silk this dress is a size large. It is dry clean only... and I would take it to your most trusted dry cleaner. It does need a trip to the cleaners before being worn. I found no damage or flaws on this piece, it just needs a cleaning as there are a few splashes of something that looks like liquid make up here and there. I wash able to carefully wash it off with a moist cloth so I know the rest will easily be removed at the dry cleaners.

This is such a darling little 30's hat! It measures about 21 inches around the inside and the circumference of the brim is about 8.5". It is in excellent condition. There are no missing rhinestones or flaws to note. This was made by the Merrimac Hat Company which was founded in the late 1800's. They were one of the East Coast's most prolific milliners by the 1940's. Top notch quality and style, very collectible.

It's meant to be worn sitting back on the top/back of the head... but it looks cute worn to the front on a slant as well as seen here.

I have been experimenting with crocheted neck pieces and this one is my favorite so far. It's made from cotton yarn in chocolate brown and a very pale turquoise hue of blue. The rhinestone button is quite old and really looks beautiful on your neckline. I put a silver toned button on the back for closure.

It measures 14.25 inches long and the band is 2 inches wide while the circle in front is 3 inches wide.
