$30.00
This painting shows renowned Australian dancer Sarina Del Fuego, posing in costume by a tree. The jewel on the hat is picked out in clear gems to give 3d interest

I have been painting while I have been signed off from work, and I find it really therapeutic. I usually paint from a photograph, often one I've taken, or if it's something more exotic I work off a few different photographs. I work quickly in acrylic on canvas boards or box canvases, using solid colours, interference colours, or a mixture of the two.

The photos are the best I can take unfortunately. I've tried my best to show them in their true colours.

Material - box canvas - ready to hang

Size - 9" square, 2" deep

But who has sneaked a spoonful already...

A mixture of textured papers has been used to create the scene, including corrugated paper.

This would look ideal in a children's room or kitchen.

It's based on a real scene I witnessed this week in the snow in the UK.

Size - 40cm x 30cm, 2cm deep

The time is shown on each (in one corner) and the title of the painting explains what is happening. I've called it Mother's Day as a play on words, but also because they would make an ideal Mothers' Day gift

This painting shows an orange juice (perhaps with something in it?!) and a pile of knitting. The orange juice stands on a knitting pattern, and she's keeping an eye on the time, currentl 8.30pm, with her nurse's watch - she could be a nurse, a retired nurse, or just likes the quirkiness of the watch.

I have been painting while I have been signed off from work, and I find it really therapeutic.
