The denim is reused from jeans that didn't have any life left as clothes. Each quilt is at least 7 different pairs of jeans! This quilt does not have batting because denim it heavy enough! The quilt has been washed once to start the ragging process. The seams will rag more and more as you wash it more. It is so easy to clean...just throw it in the machine and start it up and it can be dried too! This quilt is a great weight for football games, nights at the beach, picnics, baby blankets, outdoor concerts or just sitting and watching tv.
