The word 'halcyon' is first and foremost defined as a type of kingfisher. Maybe this print will produce a halcyon age in every home where my little kingfisher resides.

I can make these in different color combinations or different sizes, so if you need them larger or smaller I'll adjust them before I send them!

I recently went on a trip to North Carolina and I loved it so much I wanted to make a print to commemorate the journey!

This linocut was designed, drawn, carved and printed by me - Melissa Kate McMurtrie. This print is the product of 2 runs from 2 blocks.

The image measures approximately 3.5" x 6.5" (8.9cm x 16.5cm) and is printed on 8" x 6" (20.3cm x 15.25cm) Bristol Board. Both the ink and paper are acid-free and archival quality.

This print will arrive signed, dated and numbered. It will ship encased in a glassine sleeve with cardboard backing for protection against the bends.

***On my monitor the close-up shows the most accurate color. The blue of the paper is a very pretty pale blue with a bit of gray in it.***
