Here at RockerByeBaby - we are trying SO hard to take new steps to being eco friendly...
I cloth diaper... I reuse packaging... I buy organic... and the list goes on and on.
Or first step to Organic in the store was the Barley & Birch t (see listing)
But we can't and we WONT stop there :)
With our recent inspiration to be eco friendly...

"The pile is 70% bamboo 30% organic cotton.
Please note that due to the construction of this fabric you should take special care to wash on cold and tumble dry low or line dry.

but he sure rocks this shirt well.

I designed and hand cut the guitar applique....
(Black fabric with skulls and guitars on it)
*Exact position of print on fabric will vary as it is recreated*
But that wasn't enough...
I added by hand silver grommets to the body...
and strung it up with satin ribbon.
Frayed the edges...
and gave it 3 rounds of wiggly jiggly stitches.
I love it... and Im hoping you will too!

Alright - i must toot my own horn here..

On short notice I came up with an uber cool design.

Everyone knows Nicole Richie & Joel Madden had their new little baby boy...
Sparrow James Midnight Madden...
well, I was asked if I wanted to "gift" anything to them for the baby...
well of course I did! They're one of the coolest Rock N Roll families out there.
So I came up with a cool little gift set for him...
but of course I couldn't leave Harlow out!
Shes a super cutesy girlie girl, so I had to punk her up a bit...
but, JUST a smidge :)
I made this super rad guitar shirt just for her...

It sold out SO FAST that this is Version 2.0 :)
Its a turquoise and hot pink Ringer t-shirt...
and then I designed and hand cut the guitar applique....
using Robert Kaufman Sugar & Spice fabric...

I added grommets to the body, and strung it up with some turquoise ribbon.

Well, lucky for her RockerByeBaby can hook that up :) She was designing her nursery with a Rock N Roll Safari theme.... we can hook that up too :) I did a custom set just for her using a natural Giraffe minky, with a natural swirl on the back... and natural satin ties. Natural, right?! ;) I even used a gentle unbleached cotton for the skirt to keep things extra gentle for baby. It turned out beautiful and she loved it! July 24th, her son, Kayden Bobby was born. Since then Pregnancy Magazine as well as Life&Style have decided to do a spread on her nursery!

LIttle by little we are trying to add new product to the store... Next in the family? *drum roll please* by popular request = SHOPPING CART COVERS! My MIL has stepped up with her insane sewing skills to help out with Boppy Covers and Shopping Cart Covers... so you purchase multiple items this will ship separately. They're amazing... She made me a cart cover FOREVER ago... we use it all the time, and its perfect... we use it at the grocery store... target... walmart, etc and its universal on all of those very different carts. All new - OOAk...
My MIL has been inspired to make some boppy covers and were gunna give them a shot. What do you guys think? We are starting the price nice and low for now... They're super detailed... Cotton or flannel print on top... coordinating piping in the center... fold over closure in the back so you dont have to deal with any zippers or velcro... This one has red MInky Dot... Now I gotta be honest this is NOT the minky dot I use... its the cheaper stuff from Joann and its not as soft as my usual minky so we are selling them a little cheaper. As of right now, we are not making them as custom orders, but if these sell well then we will. If you have any questions let us know!

For some reason this silver minky is not what they usually send me. The texture is a little different and it was really super stretchy. So when I sew'd it, it shifted a little... one end is about 1/2 inch longer than the other side. And you can see where the minky meets the cotton it shifted a bit. Totally awesome blanket... I was so excited to use the fabric its one of my favs.... so really bummed it didnt turn out perfectly :(

Alright - i must toot my own horn here..

On short notice I came up with an uber cool design.

Everyone knows Nicole Richie & Joel Madden had their new little baby boy...
Sparrow James Midnight Madden...
well, I was asked if I wanted to "gift" anything to them for the baby...
well of course I did! They're one of the coolest Rock N Roll families out there.
So I came up with a cool little gift set for him...
but of course I couldn't leave Harlow out!
Shes a super cutesy girlie girl, so I had to punk her up a bit...
but, JUST a smidge :)
I made this super rad guitar shirt just for her...

Its a pink and white striped knit tshirt with a cute girlie cap sleeve...
and then I designed and hand cut the guitar applique....
using Robert Kaufman Sugar & Spice fabric...
*Exact position of fabric will vary as it is recreated*
But that wasn't enough...
I added grommets to the body, and strung it up with some turquoise ribbon.
*Grommets will be in the color silver*
Frayed the edges... and gave it 3 rounds of wiggly jiggly stitches.
And now - it really is the perfect combo of Sugar & Spice...
I love it... and Im hoping you will too!

Because I have enough materials to make just a couple more.
Grommet colors may vary from shirt to shirt...
and keep in mind, each one is hand cut...
so the exact position of the print will vary slightly as well.
But other than that it will look exactly like this photo :)

Last month (July ‘09) we were approached by Melissa from Little Peanut Boutique with a pretty huge opportunity. Ms. Angie Everhart was pregnant and she wanted custom bedding. Well, lucky for her RockerByeBaby can hook that up :) She was designing her nursery with a Rock N Roll Safari theme.... we can hook that up too :) I did a custom set just for her using a natural Giraffe minky, with a natural swirl on the back... and natural satin ties. Natural, right?! ;) I even used a gentle unbleached cotton for the skirt to keep things extra gentle for baby. It turned out beautiful and she loved it! July 24th, her son, Kayden Bobby was born. Since then Pregnancy Magazine as well as Life&Style have decided to do a spread on her nursery!

Made from basic Cloth Diapers from Gerber®.
They feature gauze weave fabric that is made from heavy, tightly twisted yarns,
woven in a fashion that provides an exceptionally durable diaper.
Then I work my magic on them.
I pick my favorite prints, and applique them to the diapers/rags.
(For a fancy booty)
WITH tons of wiggly jiggly stitches and hand fray the edges.
(Will distress more with washing for the perfect punk rock look.)
AND, it adds even one more layer of super soaking ability in the most important place.
AND, if your in a pinch, lay it down on the ground/table
for an eco friendly changing pad option as well!

ve been Completely Inspired by the Alexander Henry fabric, Regent Skulls...
Its my absolute favorite print right now... and I wanna put it on EVERYTHING!

Its started with the custom Polo that I made for Liam, Tori Spellings son...

Made from basic Cloth Diapers from Gerber®.
They feature gauze weave fabric that is made from heavy, tightly twisted yarns,
woven in a fashion that provides an exceptionally durable diaper.
Then I work my magic on them.
I pick my favorite prints, and applique them to the diapers/rags.
(For a fancy booty)
AND, it adds even one more layer of super soaking ability in the most important place.
AND, if your in a pinch, lay it down on the ground/table
for an eco friendly changing pad option as well!
AND, i think im done saying "and". :)

ve been Completely Inspired by the Alexander Henry fabric, Regent Skulls...
Its my absolute favorite print right now... and I wanna put it on EVERYTHING!
So im trying... haha

Its started with the custom Polo that I made for Liam, Tori Spellings son...
I loved it so much I madea version of it available to the public...
Then the blankets....
and then I thought, hey! We need something for the ladies too!!
So here it is.
I found some awesome hoodies by the amazing company Garanimals...
Nice thick, plush, cozy hoodies... (hooded sweatshirt)

SIZE: 3T TODDLER on GRAY LAST ONE IN GRAY!!!

I hand cut and machine sewed the appliques to make the perfect design...
on the front... two little clusters of roses...
and on the back... a huge print that takes up most the back, right under the hood.
If you ask me, it looks like wings for your little Punk Rock angel.
