No, your eyes aren't deceiving you - although this lovely thick neckwarmer looks knitted, it has been crocheted in Tunisian Knit stitch. The scrummy acrylic/wool mix yarn comes out thick and delicious with this stitch, giving your neck an extra warm and comforting treatment. The ceramic heart buttons give it a quirky finishing touch.

This listing is for 8 balls of Rowan Felted Tweed in Ginger, all the same dye lot (21I7).

Felted Tweed is a DK weight Merino Wool/Alpaca/Viscose blend that is great for light knits.

There are about 175m (191yds) per 50g ball. That's 1400m (1528 yds) in this package - enough for a project!

The colour is a bit more orange than appears in these photos. Googling Felted Tweed may give you a better idea of the colour.
