This ring features the SHIFT KEY function key. Just one of the limited functions available on that era of writing equipment. The dark green colored celluloid shows off the creamy color of the letters and looks lovely on the gunmetal finished, filigree ring base. The filigree background measures 24mm x 32mm. The typewriter key is about 18mm. Completely adjustable. Right now it's about a 7.

The keys are left as authentic as possible. Because the keys are from real typewriters, they show the effects of normal use and aging over many years. Most typewriter keys I use are 60 - 80 years old, at least.

CORAL SEA - Artisan Lampwork and Beaded Charm Fringe Bracelet in Aqua Turquoise and Red

This fabulous focal bead on this bracelet made me think of a coral reef. Rich coral under a clear blue sea, with anemones swaying and sunlight dappling the surface.

The inspirational lampwork beads were created by Laurie of mermaidglass. Here organic style and wonderful artistry make all of her beads a treat for the eyes. These beads were the catalyst for this bracelet design. I've created tons of charms in aquas and red with Czech glass and Swarovski crystals. In between the charms are carved chalk turquoise beads. There is so much flash and movement!

This bracelet measures about 8", fitting an average sized 7" wrist. I will happily adjust the size to make it larger is necessary, before shipping. Unfortunately, I don't think I can make this design smaller.

Just in case there is someone out there who is oblivious to your charms, this one of a kind pendant will let them know beyond the shadow of a doubt.

Inserted in this antique typewriter key is a fragment of dictionary entry that is probably as old as the typewriter key. Dangling below are a couple of Swarovski crystals in White Opal and Crystal.

As I mentioned, this is a one of a kind piece. I've used the original dictionary piece, not a copy. I enjoy the discovery in my ephemera and the humor and fun in the creation.

I don't often come across a set of typewriter keys with two SHIFT LOCKS. Therefore, I rarely have a matched set. This set was unique in many ways. The larger type, the solid construction.

Dangling below the typewriter keys is a delicate charm of glass pearl and faceted Czech glass. Adding femininity to the hardware of the early 20th century. These are under 2" long from the top of the Sterling silver earwires to the bottom of the dangle.

As a fairy tale lover, mostly Cinderella, I love the romance, tragedy, and drama of these fantastic stories. If I grew up with a Cinderella complex then my daughter has certainly got a Princess and the Pea complex.

This is pendant is just one of the fairy tale ideas rumbling around in my head. I'm currently working on a bracelet/cuff idea as well. For this pendant I've used vintage lace and tucked a pea green freshwater pearl in among the layers. Dangling below is an artisan crafted polymer clay rose and a Sterling silver crown. When I saw these beads with their sky blue base and floating "clouds", I knew what they were destined to be. I love when a thought becomes a reality so swiftly. The Boro lampwork beads were crafted by Dhea of Fire and Glass Designs a.k.a. Javabeads. They've been combined with blue Aventurine, Swarovski crystals, and Sterling silver beadcaps and birds in flight. The length of this bracelet is 7 3/4", good for smaller wrists.

To complete the look, I've made a pair of earrings with the same beads. They measure 2" from the top of the Sterling silver ear wires to the bottom of the last crystal.

These sparkling beauties were created with Japanese Washi paper mounted on the back of Scrabble tiles. I've run a wire through the center to dangle a rich Swarovski crystal bead. The result is a unique, rich piece that is incredibly light-weight. The Washi paper has been protected by wonderful glaze. The length is 2" from the top of the Vermeil ear wires to the bottom of the dangle. All metal wire and findings on this pair of earrings is Vermeil which is 24k gold heavily plated over Sterling silver.

I've loved rainbows ever since I was a child. I remember seeing them in the spray of the sprinklers in the garden and looking for them after the rain.

This double strand bracelet makes me think of the edge of the rainbow. The blue, indigo and violet and a touch of green. Starting with the central porcelain focal bead and working toward the clasp.

I've graduated the colors from light to dark. The stones are Amethyst, Chalcedony, Agate and Freshwater Pearl. A couple of glass beads have been added as well. All the metal findings are Bali and Sterling silver. The second strand has Freshwater pearls in a fabulous bluish purple and are accented with Swarovski crystals.

The overall length is 8" and fits an average to larger wrist. This one of a kind design will not be duplicated!

I made these earring after reading my favorite chapter in the whole saga titled "Fire and Ice". When Jacob and Edward have a meeting of the minds in an effort at a truce to save Bella.

These earrings are just one of a series inspired by the Twilight Saga written by Stephenie Meyer. The fiery red flowers have hints of golden yellow, looking like a flame, and hot-blooded like Jacabo. The sparkling Swarovski hearts are as "Dazzling" as Edward, especially in the light of the sun. Symbolizing men that have clashed for Bella's heart. Hot like Jacob - Cool like Edward.

I was offering this cupcake bead alone but I really wanted to see what it would look like with a flower on top and had to make it into a pendant! I've used glass beads for the flowers and Sterling silver spacers and bail. The length is under 2"

This sweet cupcake is a bit imperfect as you can see by the pictures. Still tasty and super cute! An ivory colored base, pale pink frosting with sprinkles of chocolate and pretty frosted roses.

I made this bead and immediately and properly, kiln annealed it for strength and durability. The size is 16mm wide, 23mm tall.

I love this color scheme and what it brings to mind - Neapolitan Salt Water Taffy! The inspiration for the loaded bracelet is the central focal bead, an artisan crafted lampwork seashell bead created by Dhea Powers.

Framing the focal bead are lovely tawny glass beads, faceted and shell shaped. In between each bead are a total of 10 closed Sterling silver jump ring with 6 wire-wrapped charms.

Holly is one of my favorite Christmas icons so I make one holly inspired piece each year. This year I've also made a pair of matching earrings and a coordinating cell phone charm.

This bracelet started with handcrafted lampwork beads created by Artful Bead Creations. I've combined them with three styles of glass leave, two colors of glass "berries" and Sterling Silver. Each charm has been wire wrapped to a closed jump ring. The beads were strung on medium weight, quality, flexible beading wire. The Sterling Silver toggle clasp is simple and easy to use. This key features the @ symbol and the lower case c - which could have been used for anything I suppose; a celcius notation, copyright or cents with another stroke added to it. Since I don't know what kind of typewriter it came it's hard to tell. Many professions had typewriters specific to them.

While making this pair I was thinking of the Angels from the Bible and the Christmas story. But as I typing this I am thinking of all the other times we think of angels. It's not often than I make jewelry for men. Most that I've made has been for my husband or family. I love these Hawk Eye beads and when I found the Blue Hawk Eye focals, I knew exactly what I wanted to make with them.

Hawk Eye is a fabulous stone that is a brother to the Tiger Eye. The beautiful semi-precious Tiger Eye gems that we enjoy are most commonly golden brown. Occasionally, the stone is blue/grey and is then called falcon’s eye or hawk eye.

These gray stones are smooth and sleek. They feel wonderful to the touch. Occasionally, there are brown inclusions and the movement of the gray striations is very nice. The movement is more subtle in the Blue faceted gemstone as are the brown inclusions. I've added Sterling Silver spacers and a Sterling Silver toggle clasp. An elegant and masculine design.

The bracelet measures 8 1/2" long and fits a wrist measuring 7 3/4". I will gladly size this more closely to fit, if necessary, before shipping.

I love the base color on this bead! The golden richness of it looks like wild honey. After I put the pink on top, I could only think of wear the bees got the honey.

This bead was made on a 3/32" mandrel and was properly kiln annealed for strength and durability. The bead has an <u>irregular</u> shape. End to end it measures 24mm. The diameter is 14 - 16mm.

A cairn is a man-made pile of stones, often in a conical form. They are usually found in uplands, on moorland, on mountaintops or near waterways. Many cultures have different reasons for them but they are always eye catching and sites of wonder!

These earrings are made thinking of a fairy cairn. Fantastic, pretty colors and organic shapes. Many of the beads were handmade by glass artisans, the largest being made by me. The ear wires are Sterling silver. Over all they measure 1 1/4" long.

This sweet pendant features an typewriter key with the letter "B" set in a beautiful steel frame and under glass. I've dangled a charm below featuring a handmade button created by Etsy seller, SpareButton. The length is 2" measured from the top of the silver tone bail to the bottom of the charm.

I love this color combination! The whimsy and the mystery of things carnivalesque. When I saw these beads from lampwork bead artist, Sarah Friskey, I had to buy them. Seems I am always drawn to bright colors but usually design with muted tones. Maybe it was the Summer sun at the time, but these beads certainly called out to me.

These beads are so fabulous, I simply paired them with bright fuchsia freshwater pearl coins and Bali Silver accents. Finished with a lovely Bali Silver toggle clasp.

This is a smaller bracelet with a length of 7 1/2", fitting a wrist of 6 1/2 - 6 3/4". I will happily resize this before shipping if necessary.

This lovely spider would look wonderful anytime of year - especially in the fall! She is made with a combination of beads including a large Swarovski crystals for her head and body. Her knees are recycled Swarovski crystals. There are bugle and seed beads, more Swarovski crystals, and Sterling silver findings and wire. I've hung her from a 3mm black silk cord with a Sterling silver lobster claw clasp.

In her front legs she is holding her latest catch. Her back legs are holding onto her spinneret which is attached to a drop of "dew".

The overall length of the stick pin is 4 1/2". The cord necklace is 18".

This key is from my rare key collection. I love the little emoticon it makes. I wonder if the manufacturers saw this little face in the key. Whether they did or not, I sure do.

Sometimes the years and treatment are so evident on these keys but there is beauty in them still. I love the way these keys look. I don't know what has caused this discoloration to happen to them but I love the patina.

I've celebrated their color variations by adding a vintage look stamping and tiny faceted bead. They have a subtle luster and picasso finish. These are quite unique and there isn't another set like this anywhere. The ear wires are Sterling silver and from the top of them to the bottom of the dangle measures just over 2 1/2".

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. To do my part in raising awareness and to contribute to this cause, I've created this bracelet. The beads and elements are reminders to do self-checks often.

All the metal findings are Bali and Sterling silver. The crystals are Swarovski and the glass is lampwork. The fabulous toggle has two links giving this bracelet is wider size range, fitting wrists average to larger sized.

NAUGHTY NUMBER NINE - LAST ONE - Antique Adding Machine Key Bracelet 4 of 4

One of my favorite childhood memories is of Saturday mornings and the Schoolhouse Rock cartoons. I learned, and retained, a lot from them and am now sharing them with my daughter thanks to DVD's. As I was putting this bracelet together, I realized all the keys total 9. And of course, the song from Schoolhouse Rock started playing in my head, "Naughty Number Nine".

The bracelet is made with a slightly smaller base than my regular typewriter key bracelets. The length is 7 1/4". Still as flexible and durable. And, of course, I have added some charms. A Dalmation Jasper with a bit of faceted Czech glass. A striped Sardonyx. And, a pewter ruler.

These adding machine keys are authentic and at least 60 - 80 years old. They are in good AGED condition, showing some age on the faces but still strong and beautiful in their metal frames.
