Concentric rings of rectangles chase each other willy-nilly through fields of flowers, in rich subdued tones of coral, blue, green, and yellow. If you do lose your balance and fall, though, don't worry -- you have a soft landing waiting for you!

Binding is a blue tone-on-tone paisley. Backed in a coral paisley with a off-center strip of patches. Fabrics from April Cornell's Portugal collection.

This Pinwheel block quilt is made up of 2,080 triangles in 260 Pinwheel blocks. That's a lot of triangles!

The quilt has a very vintage, shabby, and cottage feel to it. Floral pastels in a handful of different patterns make up half the triangles. White makes up the rest along with the border and backing. It's bound in a soft blue floral.

Dense free-motion quilting gives it a great puckered look.

Perfect size for babies, kids, or as a lap quilt for us adults.

This comfy sock monkey is drifting off to sleep beneath the stars, moon, and a warm quilt. Wouldn't it be nice to do the same?

Finished quilt measures 40 x 50 inches (102 x 127 cm). Fabric on the cover is mostly Goodnight Monkey by Erin Michael for Moda Fabrics but any marbles, solids or small prints can be used.

Pattern is for the quilt only. I stole my daughter's sock monkey for the cover picture.
