Handmade Heavily Oxidized Copper Clasp

I decided to play around a little with some copper wire that I had laying around and made a few clasps... they turned out great so I thought I'd share! This clasp is stylish... it has some really sweet curves and has been strategically hammered for a nice look. It also features a wire-wrapped focal point which has been soldered for stability and has also been oxidized to a black finish. It can easily be transformed to a coppery brown color with the dark tones being left in the low spots by gently buffing with steel wool. I'm pleased with the result... it's just really pretty!

This copper clasp is 24mm long and 9mm wide at it's widest point.

If you prefer these to be a warm copper brown you may gently buff off some of the oxidation with steel wool.

These ribbed copper beads can be used as spacers, with wire wrapping, or as dangles on whatever jewelry piece you wish to create! They have been oxidized to a black finish for convenience... in case any of you don't wish to deal with the mess of oxidizing items yourself!

This listing is for 20 pieces of 4mm ribbed copper beads. Messy wire (used for oxidizing them together) not included... trust me, you don't want it!
