I love rescuing vintage story books from the ending up in the bin! I have found the best illustrations and repurposed them into these lovely pocket mirrors. Each pocket mirror is unique, as I use the actual pages to make them from (no reprints here!)

I have used a mixture of new and vintage buttons as a base for these cute stickers, then varnished over the top to protect them, attached them to a ring base and voila, a very cute ring!
Rings are adjustable, from adult sizes, to little kiddie fingers.
The varnish I use is more like a resin--super shiny and super strong!
Buttons are on average about 11-12 mm in diameter.

My Aunty had a dress exactly this material in the 70's and I am sure it was at least 10 years old then! A great way to get that polyester retro look without having to wear it against your skin....which in an Australian summer is almost impossible :)
