Spellbound - Keira Knightley - Original Drawing

$70.00
This is from a new series of drawings on pages of a beautiful old antique French dictionary, on the C's, 'compagne' to 'complexion'.

I'm aiming to fill all the pages of the dictionary with a drawing, so its going to be a long-term project.

This is an original drawing of a British actress Keira Knightley, named 'Spellbound' because of the kinda windswept and beguiling look she has in the drawing.

12 x 19 cm (5 x 7.5 inches)

The sketch was made with graphite pencil, chalk pencil, ink and white pen, the page was stained lightly with tea to give a nice mid tone to draw on. On the bottom of the page is my new monogram "PG" crest printed in silver. It is signed on the bottom and dated 09.

The page has been ripped out of the book, so has a raw edge to the left (would look great in a glass frame with the edges visible).

This is from a new series of drawings on small pages of vintage books, only available in the Etsy shop.
