Delightful bracelet of copper rings woven, one at a time, into Byzantine knots. The pretty hammered “S” clasp was made by me of copper wire, and the finished bracelet then tumbled for several hours to a gleaming & silky smooth finish. This bracelet measures approximately 8” or 20.3 cm in length, to fit up to a 7 & ¼” wrist, and is approximately ¼” or 6mm wide.

A word about copper… Copper patinas, or tarnishes, quickly. Think of the many shades that appear on pennies. This bracelet will be sent to you all bright & shiny, as it is pictured, and enclosed in a plastic zipper bag. With time, and exposure to the environment, copper gradually darkens to an attractive brownish color. To get your copper bracelet looking like a “new penny” again, simply swish it in a little lemon juice or vinegar, then rinse it thoroughly and allow it to dry. Storing tarnish-prone items such as sterling silver and copper in plastic zipper bags can help to inhibit tarnishing.

The name for this anklet came to me as I was putting it together. The flat-sided silver cultured pearls reminded me of planets, and it was easy to imagine the tiny silver-plated cubes as stars in a galaxy of midnight blue glass seed beads. Blueberry Triangle Pouch

I began making these with the idea that they’d make neat gift packaging for my jewelry creations. The pouches are quite small at about 4” tall, but a super fun way to contain whatever little trinkets suit you.

This pouch has been constructed with an outer layer of quilters’ cotton and a lining of nicely coordinating solid color purple cotton that were fused together. The interior fabric edges were neatly zigzag stitched to minimize fraying. The YKK zipper is embellished with a sparkling Czech crackle glass bead and silver-plated accents.

The fabrics used in this little pouch were carefully washed & ironed dry prior to construction. While the pouch would probably survive a gentle trip through the washing machine, the glass bead might not. It will keep its fresh looks longer if gently hand washed, when necessary, and air dried.

To help protect the unique 3-dimensional shape of this pouch during shipping, it will be sent to you filled with clean, crumpled, packing paper.

A pretty, and refillable(!), linen covered journal of silver-accented Inspiration butterfly fabric from Blank Quilting that has been interfaced in white muslin for a little more substance.

Inside the cover is a 4”x6” 80 sheet spiral notepad. Once you’ve used up the included notebook, replacements can be found at office supply stores and where ever school supplies are sold.

The fabrics used in this journal cover were all carefully washed & ironed dry prior to construction. While the cover would probably survive a trip through the washing machine, it will keep its fresh looks longer if hand washed, air dried, and ironed to remove any wrinkles.

I’m constantly jotting down to-do lists, project ideas, and little bits of this & that I know I won’t remember later. Being rather thrifty, I tend to jot my notes on paper scraps, the backs of envelopes, the teeny unused corner of an already written on sticky note -- well, those of you with the same tendency surely understand! Turtle Tea Infuser

It seems that all the most incredible teas come in loose leaf form, rather than in tea bags. A reusable tea infuser allows you to brew those delightful teas without having little bits floating on the top of your tea, or settled in the bottom of your pot or cup.

I’ve embellished the chain with a lead-free pewter turtle charm, mottled green Russian serpentine beads, and white cats eye glass beads. I’ve added a lobster clasp to the chain so that it can be removed if you wish to put your tea ball in the dishwasher. The chain can be hand washed & air dried, but putting the decorated chain in the dishwasher is NOT recommended.

The ball itself is of stainless steel mesh, which should provide many years of service. The mesh balls are reasonably sturdy however, they can be crushed, as an unsupervised child gleefully discovered at a bazaar some time ago. To care for your tea infuser, simply hand wash it, or put it in your dishwasher basket for a thorough cleaning.

The infuser ball measures approximately 1 & ¾” in diameter, or 4.5 cm, from outside edge to outside edge, and is more suitable for brewing a cup or two at a time, rather than an entire pot. The decorated chain measures approximately 5 & 1/4”, or 13.2 cm, in length.

Please WASH your tea infuser before using it! I make every effort to keep all of my items clean, but I don’t work in a sterile environment, nor do I create, photograph, or package while wearing food-safe gloves.

A pretty, and refillable(!), linen covered journal is accented with a cheery strip of lemony yellow dragonfly quilters’ cotton, interfaced for a little more substance, and lined in unbleached muslin.

Inside the cover is a 4”x6” 80 sheet spiral notepad. Once you’ve used up the included notebook, replacements can be found at office supply stores and where ever school supplies are sold.

The fabrics used in this journal cover were all carefully washed & ironed dry prior to construction. While the cover would probably survive a trip through the washing machine, it will keep its fresh looks longer if hand washed, air dried, and ironed to remove any wrinkles. The item shown in the first photo is the one you will receive.

I’m constantly jotting down to-do lists, project ideas, and little bits of this & that I know I won’t remember later. Being rather thrifty, I tend to jot my notes on paper scraps, the backs of envelopes, the teeny unused corner of an already written on sticky note -- well, those of you with the same tendency surely understand! Leopardskin Jasper Tea Infuser

It seems that all the most incredible teas come in loose leaf form, rather than in tea bags. A reusable tea infuser allows you to brew those delightful teas without having little bits floating on the top of your tea, or settled in the bottom of your pot or cup.

The chain of this infuser has been embellished with lovely leopardskin jasper gemstone and silver plated beads. I’ve added a lobster clasp to the chain so that it can be removed if you wish to put your tea ball in the dishwasher. The chain can be hand washed & air dried, but putting the decorated chain in the dishwasher is NOT recommended.

The ball itself is of stainless steel mesh, which should provide many years of service. The mesh balls are reasonably sturdy however, they can be crushed, as an unsupervised child gleefully discovered at a bazaar some time ago. To care for your tea infuser, simply hand wash it, or put it in your dishwasher basket for a thorough cleaning.

The infuser ball measures approximately 1 & ¾” in diameter, or 4.5 cm, from outside edge to outside edge, and is more suitable for brewing a cup or two at a time, rather than an entire pot. The decorated chain measures approximately 5 & 1/4”, or 13.5 cm, in length.

Please do WASH your tea infuser before using it!
I make every effort to keep all of my items clean, but I don’t work in a sterile environment, nor do I create, photograph, or package while wearing food-safe gloves.

I started making these with the idea that they’d make neat gift packaging for my jewelry creations. The pouches are quite small at about 4” tall, but a super fun way to contain whatever little trinkets suit you.

This pouch has been constructed with 2 layers of quilters’ cotton that were fused together. The lining fabric is a solid color. The YKK zipper is embellished with a Czech glass bead and silver plated accents. All interior fabric edges were neatly zigzag stitched to minimize fraying.

All fabrics used were carefully washed & ironed dry prior to construction. While the pouch would probably survive a trip through the washing machine, the glass bead embellishment on the zipper might not. This pouch will keep its fresh looks longer if gently hand washed and air dried.

To help protect the unique 3-dimensional shape of this pouch during shipping, it will be sent to you filled with clean, crumpled, packing paper.
