This is a super cute adjustable (8 1/4"-9 1/2") collar for the pampered poochie princess in your life! It is made from both natural and dyed pink hemp cords. The shells are bright pink dyed mother-of-pearl, and are attached with jump rings. There are a total of nine shells, and they measure 1/2" in length. My dogs love to show off their shells! Please add approximately 1/2-3/4" to the circumference of your dog's neck for a proper, not too tight, not too loose fit! Your dog thanks you!

About the collars: My two dogs, a 55lb. Boxer, and a 50 lb. Border Collie mix, have been happily and safely wearing these collars for approximately the past eight years. My dogs wear the collars for walks (hemp is naturally very strong), and also in the water (the only problem with this is that dyed hemp will fade). This does not mean that these collars are unbreakable, they are first and foremost a loved dog accessory! The non-adjustable collars are even stronger than the adjustable... and the thicker the hemp, the stronger the collar.
I am a dog lover and would neither sell nor support anything which I felt was hazardous to an animal. I use all natural materials for the collars, and always state if dye was used, or any other qualities noted for safety. The only problem I have encountered was my Boxer chewing up a collar when she was a puppy (the hemp must have smelled good)!
Please contact me with any questions or if you have a special request... there is no use in buying a collar that won't fit exactly right!

This is an 11" non-adjustable natural hemp and shell dog collar. The inner cords are blue (dyed), for a hint of color. The shells are white and vary in length from 1" to 3/4". This very cool dog collar measures a non-adjustable 20" length, and is made of: natural hemp, shell, and lacquered wooden beads. The cords are 170lb. test...this is a very strong collar! There are a total of 12 wooden beads measuring 1/2"each. (Four blond, four tan, four brown). The central shell is natural, and is attached with a jump ring.
