This little tablecloth is just brimming with charm. White cotton measuring 33 ½” by 33 1/4”, each corner is centered with a floral bouquet of red and yellow roses tied in a blue bow topped with a pretty blue umbrella, parasol.
The outside edge has a scalloped trim in jade green. The center of each side has a smaller bouquet with a tiny spray in between. A jade green frame that has a single pink rose bud at each point surrounds the round center portion.

This cloth is in used condition but clean and free from holes and stains. The colors are still very nice.
This is a lovely little cloth, so feminine- wonderful with any shabby chic or country cottage décor. Center a large table or cover a small side table, pretty for afternoon tea with the girls or a summer inspired lunch, beautiful on the porch, veranda or patio.

Vintage Kilt Aljean sz 16 Red Gray Plaid Tartan

This kilt by Aljean Canada is made from 100% wool in a red and gray, green and blue tartan plaid.
The kilt has 1” knife pleats that are sewn down about 6 ½” below the waistband.
There is a three-covered button closure and a kilt pin, which I forgot when taking the pictures as well as a narrow fringe.
The waist measures about 29 ½” and the hips about 40”. Skirt length is 28” with a 2 ½” hem.
The kilt was made using 2.94 yards of fabric as measured around the hem. The sewn in tag is dated 1976.
This kilt is in used condition but clean and undamaged. Made from wonderful fine wool of excellent quality.
Plaid and tartans are popular this winter but always a classic addition to any wardrobe.

Vintage Blue and White Tartan Plaid Wool Kilt Aljean sz14
Here is the second of three vintage wool tartan kilts that I have to sell.
This kilt is made by Aljean Canada from pure virgin wool in pretty shades of blue and white plaid with a bit of turquoise stripe. It has three coved buttons on the side and a small fringe. A kilt pin will be included.
The pleats on this kilt are a bit wider about ¾” and are sewn down on the hips for about 7” from the waistband down. The size tag has been removed but I would say it is also a size Canadian 14 which is smaller than the US 14, as it measures the same as the first kilt listed.
The waist is approximately 28” and the hips 39”, the length are 27-¾” long with a 1 ¾” hem. An extra covered button can be found at the inside hem. 2.94 yards of fabric went into the making of this kilt.
The kilt is in used condition, but free from any damage, no holes, tears or wear. This is my favorite among the three but I like blue!

Blue Green Tartan Plaid Vintage Aljean Womans Kilt Skirt Size 14

Here is the first of three lovely vintage tartan kilts that I will be listing in my shop.
This is a ladies kilt size 14 made by Aljean, Canada.
It is made from fine wool tartan fabric that is blue and green with thin red and white lines.
I could not find the tartan in my reference book but there are many traditional ancient and modern tartans and variations so it is sometimes difficult to identify unless marked.
The kilt has very narrow ½” knife pleats that are sewn down at the top hips. The front has three 1” covered buttons and a fringe down the edge. A skirt pin comes with the kilt; I forgot to put it on when I took the photos.
The kilt is marked size 14, this is Canadian sizing which is smaller than in the US.
The waist measures approximately 28” and the hips 39” to the bottom of the sewn down pleats. The length is 25 ½” with a 2 ¼” hem. There is room for adjustment either larger or smaller.
The hem measures 106 inches or 2.94 yards so nearly 3 yards of fabric was used to make this kilt.

This is a very pretty tartan and in excellent used condition, the colors are vibrant and the fabric undamaged, no holes or wear, I do see one or two treads loops that could be easily pulled back through.
Whether you plan to wear this kilt or use the fabric for other purposes you will be pleased with the quality and quantity of the fabric.

Sheepskin Wall Hanging Red Rose Vintage

Here is a wonderful piece of vintage handcrafted art, worked in fur. This wall hanging is round in shape and measures 19” in diameter. It is constructed of several pieces of dyed sheepskin, hand sewn to make this design. The outer ring in a beige pale fur is made from 9 pieces hand sewn together the thin brown border next to it is made from 4 narrow strips sewn together The off white center appears to be one piece but has been cut in three places to cut out the design and to sew in the new pieces of the rose design.
The rose design consists of a large bloom and bud in pale pink, red and burgundy attached to dark green stems and foliage in two shades of green. The fur making the rose and leaves is longer so that it stands out from the white background.
The wall hanging is in lovely condition, the colors are bright and I can see no damage.
I have called this piece a wall hanging because there are three thread loops at the top back for hanging, but it could be made into a cushion cover or footstool cover.
This is a lovely and unique piece of work that would look wonderful in any décor rustic or elegant, whether home or cottage, ski or hunting lodge. Great for gift giving! If you require a parcel for Christmas, please ask about airmail

For the outdoor cook or for the kitchen - here is a great vintage chef’s hat . The hat was made in Canada from 100% unbleached cotton, so has a few brown fiber specks throughout. The headband is printed with a wonderful border featuring French chefs – with brown gingham faces wearing red gingham hats, a red bowtie and wide black moustache.
The hat has a 3 1/8” wide band with two 1” wide elastic inserts at the back and an opening edged with brown bias tape. The hat measures about 11 ½” from the bottom edge of the band to the tip.
The hat is in gently used condition and looks as if it was never worn.
Christmas day is a few weeks away but you can buy a gift for Dad or Hubby any day of the year!

Crown Potteries Childs Alphabet Bowl Dog Decal

Here is an antique child’s bowl from Crown Potteries USA, marked 1039.
The bowl is made from ivory porcelain and is quite large so probably meant for a toddler or older child. It measures 7 ½” in diameter and has a 1 ½” sides and is 5/8’ thick at the top. The top outside edge is trimmed in a green and rose stripe, while the top of the rim is printed with letters of the alphabet in black with bows in between.
In the center there is a decal of a dog dressed in clothing with a green cap that is taking a picture with a box camera, he stands beside a toy pull car.
The dish is in used condition, the colors are still nice, but the decal although complete has scratching. The bowl has overall crazing and light scratching. The back has some fine lines that don’t seem to go clear through the bowl so I feel they are just in the glaze.
This is a wonderful old collectible probably dating from the 1930s or 1940s and would be a great addition to a collection of children’s china and porcelain.

Crown Devon Decorative Lidded Jar Rose Design

Here is a beautiful rose design lidded jar marked Crown Devon, Fieldings Staffordshire England.
The jar is made from ivory colored porcelain in an ornate design.
It stands 7” high with the lid and is 3 1/8” in diameter. The base is ringed with a wide band of gold topped with a narrower one. The leaf design on the base is topped with a wide gold band where it narrows in. The bottom of the body also has a raised leaf design then continues upward plain and cylindrical in shape to the top. The front is graced with a spray of a large pink rose, an opening rose and a bud surrounded by foliage and blue bells. A single rose bud decorates the back.
The top edge is trimmed in gold, as is the edge of the lid, the base of the finial and the finial itself.
The jar is in nice vintage condition, the colors are vibrant, the jar has no chips or nicks or cracks but does have light crazing on the base, front and some of the inside.
If you have a shabby chic, or country cottage décor this jar will be a wonderful addition.
Whatever you décor, roses always fit in, to store cotton balls on a vanity or in the bath, to hold a few of your favorite candies or tea.
This is a very pretty piece with nice design touches.

2 Tiny Brass Colonial Lady Southern Belle Bells England

Here are two tiny vintage brass bells formed in the shape of full -skirted colonial ladies or Southern belles. The bells stand 3” high and are 2 ½” wide across, they are marked on the inside “made in England”.
Each bell is shaped like a lady in a full-hooped skirt, wearing a wide brimmed tied bonnet and carrying a basket of flowers. Her hair is done in a cascade of ringlets.
Both bells have metal clappers.
The bells are in excellent condition, they have a bit of tarnish but that adds to their charm.
When rung they have a nice sound, one that your mate will easily recognize when you are ready for breakfast in bed or your afternoon tea!
Have one for your night table and one to keep beside your chair!

Cut Glass Smoking Cigarette Hostess Set

Back in the day when smoking a cigarette was a favorite pastime among adults of all ages when they got together, this vintage smoking set would be put out by the in the know hostess for her guest to enjoy.
The set includes a cigarette holder to stock with your favorite brand, an ashtray and lighter.
The pieces are made from diamond cut glass with gold metal rims. The ashtray measures 4” in diameter and stands 1 1/8” high, it has a rayed design in the bottom sand two cigarette rests on either side.
The cigarette holder stands 2 ¼” high and has the gold rim. The lighter sits in a gold metal cap with a glass base. The lighter can be lifted out to fill with fluid. There is a wick but no flint.
All pieces appear un-used; the ashtray has the remnant of the original sticker in the bottom.
The pieces are in excellent condition except for two missing points on the ashtray, and the gold metal is covered with a lacquer some of which has dried and is coming off.
This is a nice set for the collector of tobacco and cigarette articles.

Grape Design Vintage Ceramic Jam Honey Jar

Here is a vintage jam jar that I received in the late 1960’s; it is made from green ceramic with a waffle or basket weave design. The jar stands 3 ¼” high with the lid and is 3 ¼” in diameter.
The front is decorated with a raised bunch of purple grapes with dark green leaves. On the lid there is a smaller bunch with one leaf. The lid has a small indent so that a spoon can be used and stored in the jar.
The jar is in excellent condition, there are a few lines of crazing inside the lid and a tiny hole in the back rim where there was a bubble in the glaze and it did not cover.
It is marked on the bottom “7293 Japan and has a Gift craft “sticker
Store your favorite jam and serve at the breakfast table, nice also for honey and preserves.
If you have someone who likes fruit themed porcelain and ceramics this would also make a nice gift.

Geranium Pattern Cup and Saucer in Yellow by Salisbury

Here is a vintage cup and saucer from Salisbury England in the geranium pattern.
This set is in made from fine bone china in the yellow geranium pattern, The cup stands just under 2 ¾’ on a raised pedestal base trimmed with two lines of gold, the upper rim is also trimmed in gold. The handle has a nice curve with green accent. The front of the cup has a large display of yellow blossoms ands green geranium leaves; the blossom centers are accented with raised bright orange centers.
The back has a smaller geranium bloom with e the same raised orange accents. The saucer measures 5 ¼’ in diameter, is slightly scalloped on the gold trimmed edge and is slightly bowl shaped to form a deeper saucer. The left side has a large branch from the geranium plant and a few flowerettes adorn the right side.
Both cup and saucer are in lovely vintage condition, clean, undamaged and still bright
This is a very pretty set just right for the gardener who likes her cup of tea. This is part of tableware set and I have a few more pieces that I may list if there is interest in this piece.

Here is a cute bank that would be a wonderful gift for the holiday season. This porcelain bank is shaped like a man’s top hat with a woven black and gold braid band that has a yellow flower shaped decoration. . a white mouse with big ears has hidden inside and peaks out through the holes that are worn or he has eaten. The bank stands 5 ¾” high to the tip of the mouse’s ear and is 4 ¾” long and 3 ¼” wide.
The little mouse is snow white with lots of rose accents.
The bank is in excellent condition, and has no chips, nicks or cracks with a nice shiny brown glaze. There is a plug in the bottom to remove the coins. Also you will find a sticker saying, “ made in Japan”.

What a fun way to serve up your boiled eggs on Christmas morning!
Here are two tiny vintage elves that will do the job!
Made from porcelain these two little fellows measure just 2 ½” long and stand 3” high. The green one holds a yellow bowl and the red one a lime green bowl. Each bowl has a hole in the bottom for water to drain. Both have painted features and cute faces with pointed ears.
The elves are in very nice condition, bright and colorful. The green elf does have a tiny scrape on the edge of his ear; otherwise they are in great condition.
These fellows would make wonderful stocking stuffers for the elf collector, or surprise your kids by serving up their eggs in these fellows. They might also be used for decorating with a small candle (I have not tried this so do it with caution)

2 Royal Worcester Egg Coddlers Butterfly Strawberry and Floral

Here are two nice egg coddlers from royal Worcester in two different designs. Both are the same size and both in excellent condition.
Nothing is more luscious in late spring than the taste of wild strawberries! This vintage egg coddler from Royal Worcester, England depicts a wonderful single berry, bloom and leaf, as well as another reminder of summer: the butterfly.
Made from white porcelain, and topped with a stainless steel rim and loop- handled screw on lid, this egg coddler will add a touch of cheer to any breakfast table. This coddler stands 2 5/8” high and 2” across and is in excellent condition.
The second coddler is the same size as the first and has a floral design in shades of turquoise blue, yellow, gray and white. On the back is a single yellow violet. the lid on this coddler has a doulble ridge around the edge rather than single.
These tiny jems are great to collect as they come in so many nice designs.

Here are 2 beautiful vintage stacking mugs with a fired on orange peel texture, on the outside only, probably from Glasbake. These mugs are milk white on the inside. This lot includes 2 yellow mugs. The largest is a yellow standing just short of 5”, it has an indented base and a large handle. The coloring covers the entire mug bottom as well but the upper rim is white. This mug is in excellent condition. It is marked 63 on the bottom.
The smaller yellow mug has a slight indent in the base and stands 3 ½” tall, it is marked A-12 on the bottom and had a small o handle.
Both mugs are damage free, ready to use and would be a great addition to any retro kitchen.

These towels are made from lightweight 100% cotton terrycloth with a bit of polyester in there as well. The towels are a matching pair that measures 23” wide by 38” long excluding a 1” fringe.
The towels are printed on each end with a large white goose on a pink latticework design with several butterflies flitting about. Pink ribbons trail around the entire towel and joins in a bow in several places.

Vintage Pyrex Mixing Bowl 403 Orange Gold

This vintage Pyrex mixing bowl is a must for any vintage inspired kitchen.
Measuring 8 3/4" in diameter and standing 4 1/4" high this bowl is in a bright orange gold shade.
The bowl is marked on the bottom: 403- 2 ½ qt. Trademark –5 PYREX made in USA – Ovenware.

The bowl is in very nice gently used condition and has no chips, nicks or cracks, bright coloring that hasn’t been washed in the dishwasher, so is still shiny.The outside of the bowl is shiny and smooth, as is the inside, although there are a few light utensil scratches in the bottom. The inside is stain free with very light surface scratching on the bottom of the bowl from use. The outside has a few tiny scratches as seen in the photo, as would be present from light use or stacking.
This is an excellent sized bowl for so many uses and pretty enough to use for serving.
Remember, to keep you vintage bowls looking like new for years to come, it is best to hand wash.
A wonderful addition to your vintage Pyrex collection.

Here are two vintage chalk ware parrots by Favor Inc. These are large parrots done in a mauve or lilac tint with white and pink accents and hot pink flowers with gold highlights. The parrots measure 11 ½” and 12” each has a sequin for an eye and a matte finish. They appear to be sitting on a branch with the pink and gold blooms.
These pieces are quite fragile so it is difficult to find them in good condition. This pair is in used condition but has no chips, cracks or repairs. There are a few pinpoint spots with missing paint but nothing that will detract from your enjoyment of these pieces. each has a wire loop on the back for hanging.

Pyrex Bowl in Sunny Yellow

Here is another of many vintage Pyrex bowls that I have collected over the years.

The bowl is deep sunny yellow in a nice small size measuring 6” wide on the sides and 7 ¼” across the handles and standing 3 ¼” high. One handle is narrower than the other to allow for pouring so would make a nice batter bowl.

The bottom is marked Pyrex 18 made in the USA ovenware, and above that the marking is 4411- ½ pt.

The bowl is in very nice, gently used condition,
The bowl has not been washed in the dishwasher so the surfaces are shiny and un-etched both inside and out.
This is definitely a good size for mixing, baking or serving for the single or small family.

Beaded Look Evening Bag Purse Clutch Off white by Artel

Here is a lovely vintage evening bag from Artel Montreal made in Japan. The bag has a gold chain handle, which can be tucked inside so it can be used as a clutch. The bag measures 8” long x 4 ½” wide and is 1 ½” thick, it is decorated with a threads very tightly wrapped with a plastic filaments that gives the appearance of beading.
The beading like design covers the entire purse and forms shell like patterns. At first look you would be sure it is covered in a design made from tightly strung tiny off white beads, but when examined under a microscope you see that this is not so, the shine and variation in the twists fools the eye.
The bag closes with gold colored oval bead like clasps. The inside of the bag is lined in white taffeta and there is a pocket for a small mirror (not Included) or lipstick.
The bag is in excellent clean, damage free condition very gently used, good enough to use at the most prestigious affair or to give as a gift.

TINY VINTAGE WINTER WHITE DECORATIVE CREAMER PITCHERS

Here are three small vintage creamers from my collection; all are in off white or winter white with gold trim.
The first creamer is a lovely little piece from Royal Winton in a pansy pattern. The pitcher stands 3 ¾” tall and is made in from porcelain with a satiny white finish.
I understand that the pansy pattern is not that common, this one is in raised relief and trimmed in gold as are the stem and leaves and scalloped rim. There is a splash of orange at the top center of the blossom.
This piece is marked “ Royal Winton Grimwades England”. The pitcher is in very nice condition with no cracks, chips or crazing. There is a bit of wear to the gold on the rim.

The second creamer is from Lefton China, it stands 3 ¾” to the top of the spout and is about 2 ¼” across the top. This creamer is quite ornate with quite a protruding spout a zig- zag pattern around the rim and a very curly handle. There is a raised pattern in the porcelain and the base is a bit scalloped. A wheat pattern is hand-painted on the front in gold with the tassels being in relief, there is a bit of gold trim on the rim, and handles. The creamer is in excellent condition with no crazing, chips, nicks or cracks. There is a bit of wear to the gold on the rim and handle.
The bottom says “Lefton China hand painted Reg. U.S. Pat. Off” and NE 20595.
The last creamer is the smallest standing just under 3 ¼”, and being 1 ¾” across, it has a cute traditional pitcher shape with a longer raised handle and a wide spout. There is a cloverleaf pattern on the front in gold; gold also trims the top edge, the center of the handle and a line around the center of the pitcher. The pitcher is in damage free condition as far as nicks and chips but there is quite a bit of wear to the gold. The bottom is marked with some 00 and a few other numbers that I can’t make out.

These are wonderful little pieces to add to your collection, the neutral color means that they will fit any décor. So cute to hold your coffee creams on a breakfast tray, or to use for that perfect little bouquet of spring flowers.

Ram Cock Tiger Monkey Vintage Chinese New Years Mugs

Chinese New Year celebration mugs, 2010 will be the year of the tiger.
Here are 4 vintage mugs made by Federal each standing 4 7/8” high, representing the year of the Ram, Cock, Monkey and Tiger. Each mug is made from white milk glass and decorated in bright primary colors.
The green one is the Cock, on the front is a picture of the animal and on the back the Chinese symbol- on the side is a description of the characteristics of those born in the year and the dates, the last date is 1969, so I would say this mug dates from around that time.
The yellow is year of the Monkey the last date is 1968.
The red is year of the Ram, the last date is 1967.
Blue is year of the Tiger the last date mentioned is 1974.
All mugs are in very nice gently used or unused condition, clean condition, with no damage and bright colors, I do see a few white spots through the glass mostly on the inside, the red mug is not quite as bright as the others.

2 Wade Mini Green Tree Trunk Planters England

Here are two mini planters from Wade England, shaped like tree trunks. These planters are made from heavy porcelain with the same texture and feel as the whimsies and other heavier Wade items. They both have a rich, thick green glaze that is quite lustrous. Both pieces are in clean, like new unused condition with no chips, or nicks.
The smaller straight log measures 5” long and 1 ½” wide by 1 1/8” high, it has lots of bark like texture and tree ring markings.
The curved trunk measures 6 ¼” long by 1 ½” high by 1 ¼” wide, it is the same as the smaller one but has a few knobs on the sides to look like cut limb stumps.
Both items are “marked “ on the bottom.
These pieces would be nice in a plant display, for herbs or mini plants. They could also be used as flower troughs in a table setting for a row of individual blooms.
Useful in a woodland display amongst other flora and fauna.
Even use for your rings or spare change, only your imagination will limit what can be done with these unusual planters.

Vintage Petite Point Pictures White Frames

These tiny petite point pictures are so cute, small in size but with lots of charm. Worked on fine ivory mesh in shades of predominately blue, one picture is of a colonial couple at a ball and the other of a girl with a wide brimmed bonnet. The girl measures 2” high and the couple 1 ¼”. both are worked in neat tiny stitches.
Both pictures measure 4 ½” high and 4 ½” wide, the frame is ¾” thick and covers ½” on the top. The frames are wooden and painted antique ivory with a cut out design along the top edge.
Glass covers the pictures and has kept them in excellent condition, un-faded and clean. The frames are also excellent, tight and with no scratches or chips.

Both pictures have eye screws and wires on the back for hanging. One has a sticker from the Bay, marked Pictures and mirrors.
I am not certain whether these were sold pre made by the Bay store or some ones handwork was framed by them.
These little petite points would be lovely in a shabby chic or country cottage décor for the bedroom: or anywhere a bit of feminine charm is wanted.

This lovely vintage tablecloth and napkin set by lady Christina, Canada is new in the original box, and has never been removed. Scraps of gift paper still taped to the back suggest that the set was a shower or wedding gift so many years ago.
The set consists of a 45” square tablecloth made from white cotton with pink edging; and 4 -12” square pink viscose napkins with white edging. The cloth has a flower cart in the corner and various pots of flowers, tulips and geraniums around it.
The set is in pristine unused, new condition.
Since the package is mostly sealed and pinned I can’t see if the pattern is repeated on the tablecloth, or just in the one area.
This is a pretty crisp set nice for a springtime tea party, luncheon, bridal shower or birthday.

Here is the cutest elf figurine I have seen in awhile, this little red fellow is riding the ocean waves with a conch shell on his back. The vintage figurine is actually a small planter or vase made from porcelain and standing 2 ¾” high, 3 ½” long and 2” wide. The elf wears rusty red shirt, cap and boots. He surfs among swirling ocean waves holding the shell tightly on his back with his hands.
The figure is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Probably made in Japan but only marked “hand painted”.
Elves are popular collectibles, they were represented in so many different pieces and are usually small enough to display in the smallest home.

Here is a lovely oval cookie tin put out by Carr’s of Carlisle England to commemorate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.

The tin has a lovely picture of the queen and Prince Philip on the front and a paper showing the cookie / biscuit choices, within on the back.
The tin measures 11 ½” high by 7 ¼” wide by 1 ½” deep, the sides are burgundy in color with pictures of the queens residences in gold- Buckingham palace, Sandringham House, Windsor Castle and Balmoral Castle. On the end is a scroll noting that the tin is a souvenir of the coronation.
The tin is in lovely condition, obviously treasured by the previous owner. It is clean inside and out with no scratches, paint loss or dents. There is a bit of light wear evident where the lid meets the tin bottom.
If you collect Royalty or know someone who does this would be a wonderful addition to a collection.

Santa Claus Vintage Round Felt Tablecloth Tree Skirt

Here is a lovely vintage Santa tablecloth, table cover or tree skirt. This cloth is made from the vintage felt like material so many Christmas items were made from that came mainly from Japan, such as the stockings I also have listed.
The cloth measures 36” in diameter including a 1 ½” fringe on each end.
The cloth is bright red with 3 big Santa faces made from glued on pieces of feltlike material, as well as a reindeer and several stars.
The edge is trimmed with narrow gold rick -rack braid and the white raffia type plastic fringe.
The cloth is in like new condition, with no stains or damage and very clean except for a bit of darkening on a spot of glue. The corners of some of the stars have popped up a dab of glue would secure them; you will also find an errant spot of glue here and there.
This cloth could be used for a tablecloth, centerpiece for a large table or on a small table where you place you table- top sized tree. Would look very festive under a silver tree!

Here are three tiny vintage wooden men that remind me of old sea captains or fishermen wearing their sou’westers.
Two men stand 2 ½" high and have a one-piece wooden body that is oblong in shape with an indent in the middle for the waist.The third man with the guitar stands 3 1/4" high and has a 2 piece body. They all wear fluffy white whiskers which may be rabbit fur, a cotton felt like hat or sou’weater, two have white cord for arms,all have a red wooden bead nose and black feet with white criss- cross design.
The fellow in blue wears wire glasses and holds a wooden bottle; the one in orange smokes a black wooden pipe. The taller fellow smokes a pipe and has wire glasses, but he also has a magnet in his tummy that his guitar bottle opener will stick to.
All have big white eyes with black centres and a gold cord so that they can be hung, except the guitar man. All characters are in nice condition with no evident damage.
I expect they were souvenirs of a visit to a seaside country they look Scandinavian to me, but that is just a guess.
These three little fellows would look right at home dockside among other nautical mementos.

Here is one of the richest looking vintage tablecloths that I have come across in a long time. This vintage damask tablecloth is covered with woven plumes or feathers in ivory as well as Jadite green. The cloth measures 50” by 52 ½” and is in new unused condition, still in the original folds.
The cloth has a wide border in green that intersects at the corners; along the ends the plumes are white on dark green and along the sides silvery on paler green. The center is surrounded by a narrow white on white lined design and the entire center portion is covered with plume after plume in the same white on white pattern.
The label has been removed but the stitching remains, so I can’t be certain of the fiber content but the surface appears to have a satiny weave while the reverse is matte.
This is a very elegant cloth suitable for the most formal occasion and best of all it is pristine, unused and in like new condition, probably tucked away in a chest or linen closet ready to be used when that very special occasion came along.

This set of Chalk ware plaster foxes or cats is dated Muller Studios 1970.
The set has the mother and three babies, who all look like they are running away from something.
The mother stands 6 ¾” high while the babies are all 3 ½” high. They all have light brown coats, round black eyes, noses and whiskers.
They all have wire loops for hanging.
The mother is in excellent condition, no chips or nicks 2 pinpoint white spots, Two babies are nice with tiny pinpoint spots of missing color. The third baby has chips out of his ears and tail and a rub on his front foot. These could easily be repaired and the paint touched up. And he would look as good as new since the face and rest of the body is good.
This is a cute set for the cat lover and to add to a collection.

Fan in Hand Pink Porcelain Trinket Dish Riviera

Here is a sweet little vintage dish to put on a dresser of dressing table. The dish measures 5 ½” long and 3” wide, with a hand shape at top or bottom depending on how you wish to display it.
The pointer finger and thumb of the hand are displayed with a gold band bracelet to which a single porcelain rose is attached with two leaves. The dish part has a notched edge at each fold of the fan, which is outlined in gold. A tiny rosebud can be found at the fingertip. There is a bit of gold spattering on the rose and wrist.
The dish is in very nice vintage condition: the rose is un-chipped as is the rest of the dish, there are no cracks or crazing, some of the gold on the ribs is a bit worn but nothing serious.
The back is marked with a crown and the name Riviera.

Just right to hold rings, earrings, or loose coins until you need them next. In a more formal setting they could hold tiny mints or other candies.
there is a hole in the back that would make it possible to be hung on the wall as well.

Here is a stunning beaded evening bag / purse in a 3 D cube design made from a combination of gold, black and white beads.
The front and back are worked in the design with diagonal blocks of round white beads and round black beads next to cylindrical gold beads and inserts of long gold beads. This combination forms an overall look of many black, white and gold cubes. The bottom of the bag is covered in parallel rows of small cylindrical gold beads.
The bag has an ornate gold colored metal frame with a cut out design on the outside and solid inside, fastened with a stone topped double clasp. A round woven chain is attached for carrying. The inside of the bag is lined in gold taffeta with a small sewn in pocket.
The bag measures 7 ½” wide across the bottom narrowing to 6 ½” at the top it is 5 ¾” tall. It is unmarked as to the maker. Hinges and clasp are in good working order. Because of the number of beads used and the sturdy frame the bag is quite heavy.
The bag is in excellent like new condition, clean, undamaged inside and out. It is quite roomy enough for the necessities.
This is a wonderful bag and would make heads turn when worn on your arm at holiday and New Year festivities.

Here is a set of crisp white pillow made by Wabasso, Canada. These cases are in new, never washed condition and appear to be made from polished cotton or else have lots of sizing.
They measure 21” wide x 32” long and are trimmed on the ends with a1 1/8” wide band of hand crocheted edging in variegated colors of yellow, purple and white. The colors appear, more like blue in the photos but it is actually purple and mauve. These cases are in excellent condition but may have a bit of faint yellowing along some fold lines.

Stratton Powder Mirror Compact Black White Leaf Design

Here is a lovely gold colored powder and mirror compact from Stratton England. The compact is made from gold colored metal and the lid has a lovely stylized black and white leaf design. The leaves have lots of white veining and tendrils and the lid closes securely. The compact measures just under 3” in diameter and has a grooved concentric circle design on the back.
The powder has been used and there is no puff, not hygienic anyway, but the inside is in lovely clean sparkly condition. Inside the cover there is a mirror in excellent clear condition, the lid on the powder compartment close tightly and has a nice engraved picture and the name Stratton in the center square.
The compact is in nice used condition, it is not pristine and does have a slight bit of wear on the outside, nothing serious but it has been used and stored in a purse with other articles.
This is still a lovely piece with such an interesting design, quite modern in my opinion.

Wrapping Gift Paper Vintage Designs Parasols Baby and Bridal Shower

Here are 4 + sheets of lovely vintage gift/wrapping paper in 4 delightful designs; all are in excellent unused condition unless indicated otherwise. Partial sheets measure as indicated below.

The first sheet features tiny babies in diapers, playing in little white knitted lace and ribbon trimmed booties or curled up asleep on large rose blossoms. The background is yellow with pale vines of leaves and dark yellow flowers. Rose blooms in deep pink, and orange surround each bootie. There are three sheets the 2 full sheets measures 27 ¾” x 20” and a partial measuring 14 ¼” x 20” both are in excellent unused condition.

The second sheet is called bridal parasols and is by Norcross Copp Clark Canada, this full sheet measures 28 ¾” x 20 ½” with an 8” x 15” portion missing. White and blue open parasols closed parasols and some filled with pink and white roses are printed on a medium blue background. Tiny pink butterflies and single rose add to this delightful pattern.

The third pattern is by Carlton Cards, this is a partial sheet measuring 9 ¾ ” x 19 ½”. This pattern features white flower carts trimmed in green and filled with white, orange and pink flowers all on a medium yellow background. Blooms in the same colors are scattered about as well as in pots that have a bronze / gold metallic sheen.

The fourth sheet is a bridal paper measuring 28” x 20”. This pattern features white cameos with bridal bouquets, bells, and roses all intertwined with ribbons holding rings held by birds on a pale peach/ coral background. Sheet is in excellent unused condition.

These pieces would be lovely for a vintage themed bridal or baby shower or for your scrap booking projects

Here are 6 antique auto pictures part of calendars from the 1960s and later. These calendars were advertising for the Perfect Circle Piston company from Hagerstown Indiana, started in 1895 Each of the 6 pictures is part of a series of “Old Timers” antique cars calendar, unfortunately only one has the small month leaves still attached.
The auto pictures are printed on stiff cardboard that is 1/8” thick. The calendar top measures 9” by 8” with scalloped edges. The calendars are part of a series and those here are numbered 2, 3, 4, 5, 14 and one unnumbered, which may be the first.
The one numbered 14 still has the calendar dated 1966, so I am assuming that the rest are from the 1950s.
Each calendar has a cut out picture of an antique automobile glued to a rectangle of wood and mounted on the backboard. They all have written in the upper right corner “ Perfect Circle since 1895”.
Under each car in the left hand corner is a description of the car, the date it was produced and the cost,
The first one unmarked is a 1902 Cadillac
#2 is a 1903 Rambler
#3 is a 1902 Studebaker
#4 is an 1897 Olds
#5 is a 1914 dodge
# 14 is a 1910 IHC model G

Five of these calendars were given to customers as Compliments of York Auto Supply Co. Yorkton, Saskatchewan as is printed on the calendar. The other one #14 is marked “ Compliments The Perfect Circle Company Ltd Don Mills Ontario.’
As I mentioned only one has the month leaves attached to the bottom and this is the #14. The others are in nice vintage condition, the colors are vibrant, some show a bit of wear on the edges and two have a few small scratches on the picture. #14 has a crease across one corner that appears to be in the top layer of paper, as it doesn’t show on the back- looks like a manufacturing flaw. All have the hanging tab on the back that states that the calendars were made by the Associated advertising Ltd Weston Ontario.
These are wonderful old advertising memorabilia for the car buff. Great pictures to be used in mixed media and other vintage ephemera applications.

Standing 7 ¼” high and made from heavy ceramic this little girl is already dressed in her black robe and mortar board and carries a big diploma marked “College Fund”. She has blond hair and big blue eyes.

On the bottom you will find a rubber plug and a sticker marked “L -a Lefton original by Giftcraft” Japan and the number 4989. The bank is in excellent like- new condition, it would also make a nice gift for the high school student.

British Uniforms 6 Vintage Pimpernel Coasters in Box

These vintage coasters from Pimpernel would make a great gift for the history or military buff. The set of 6 comes in the original box and features British soldiers dressed in the uniform of each company.
The coasters were made in England by Pimpernel a company that made hot mats and coasters in many designs. The box is marked A Celluware Product.
The coasters measure 4 1/8” square and 1/8” thick. They have a cork backing and brightly printed fronts in red, navy, white and gold with a black and gold border and gold edges.
The military units represented here include The Grenadier Guards, 1st Life Guards, Royal Engineers, The Honorable Artillery Company, The 3rd Scots Fusilier Guards, and Royal Artillery.

All coasters are in excellent vintage condition, gently if ever used with no damage, stains, chips, wear or marks. The box is missing the plastic cover and is split in one corner and has a few stains on the instruction panel underneath the coasters. These coasters are alcohol resistant and just require a wipe with a damp cloth to keep clean.
Nice for use in the home bar, den or office.

This little pink vintage glass basket is so sweet and feminine, perfect for serving special treats or holding your trinkets.

The basket is made of thick glass and stamped in a basket weave design with a row of beading just above the base, a rayed center design and a fluted edge topped by a plain applied handle. Colored a very pale pink it measures 3 ¾” tall and is 3 ¼” in diameter. This little basket is in very nice condition, with no cracks or chips, there is a gob of glass on top of a bubble along one edge and a rough spot on the edge near one end of the handle.

So delicate; perfect for your shabby cottage décor, give as a gift or add to your own collection.

Lettuce Shaped Serving Dish

This interesting vintage dish is shaped like a head of romaine lettuce or bok -choy. The dish measures 12 ¼” long by 5 ½” across the bottom section and a bit wider across the top. It is made of white porcelain rimmed in gold on the edges. The body of the plate is ribbed and molded to look like real lettuce near the top. The upper edges are also green like real lettuce or bok choy. The plate is also decorated with two red tomatoes as well as a smaller stalk of lettuce.
The plate is in very nice condition with no chips, nicks or cracks and only light crazing. The colors are still vivid and the gold has only the lightest wear in spots.
This is a wonderful dish for summer entertaining, serving all the fresh garden produce you have grown or selected. Why not show off your fresh veggie creations to their best advantage.

These two black velvet pillow/ cushion covers are adorned with stunning life like roses. These covers are different in size and design, the smaller cover measures 17” x 15” and is made of plush synthetic velvet on the front, with a black taffeta lining for the back. The hand made roses on the front are fashioned from gold cotton velvet, while the leaves seem to be the synthetic type. The design consists of a large 6 ½” rose, a smaller 5” rose, two buds and several leaves all connected with embroidered stems. The leaves are veined with embroidery as well. This cover has been used and has been removed from the original cushion form, it is in very nice condition, with no obvious damage, it can easily be placed over another cushion form and re-stitched at the bottom seam. Please note there is light surface soil on the edges of some of the petals which I am certain would be easy to sponge clean.
The second cover which measures 18” x 16 1/2” is made from the same type of plush synthetic velvet as the first and has a taffeta backing as well. The design consists of 3- 4 ½”, orangey red velvet roses and two buds with olive green leaves that are connected with darker green velvet stems (all hand done). All roses are made from the plusher synthetic velvet and are built up using several petals for a rich life like appearance. This cover has also been removed from the original cushion but is in excellent, clean damage free condition.
Get both of these lovely cushion covers for one price. They would be excellent in your Victorian décor or for a romantic touch to your shabby cottage rose décor

English Cottage and Garden Framed Print 1942

This lovely framed print of an English cottage was a mother’s day gift in 1942. The print is inscribed on the back “ Mother, On Mother’s day 1942, From Olive”.
The frame of the print measures 13 ¼” long by 10 ¼” wide and the frame is ¾” wide and 6/8’ thick. The print measures 9” long by 6” wide and has a dark cream matting with black border near the center. The print is signed in the corner with what looks like EryTr…the rest I can’t make out. This is a very pretty scene of a thatched roof cottage wit a garden surrounding and the tower of an old church in the background. A woman stands out front with a pitcher of milk for the cat.
The colors are very vivid it looks like the original was a watercolor.
The print is in nice vintage condition the matting may be very lightly yellowed with age but there are no stains or marks. There is a shadow on one of my photos that is not a stain. The frame is in excellent condition, it is painted gold and has some pattern to the edges, and the frame is solid and tight, with no scratches or gouges. The backing is loose but a few extra brads or nails would fix it. The back has a string for hanging.

This pretty print was given as a gift to mom in 1942 and 67 years later it would be equally as appropriate and appreciated.

Demitasse Size Cup and Saucer Orange Roses

This lovely little vintage cup and saucer are so feminine and delicate in design. Made from white porcelain printed with bright orange roses the cup stands just 3” tall and the saucer is 5” in diameter.
The saucer has a decorative scalloped edge trimmed in gold and a raised or relief trim along the edge following the shape of the saucer. It is printed with two single orange roses and two double roses with dark green foliage.
The petite cup handle is heavily trimmed in gold and the upper rim has a thin line of gold trim. The base of the cup is scalloped and above this the cup is scalloped around the perimeter with a raised design. Two double roses and a single decorate the sides.
The set is in excellent damage free condition, with no chips or cracks or crazing. Near the handle there are a few spots of gold that look like over spray when it was made.
The cup and saucer are both marked Japan and the saucer has a sticker as well that says “ An Enterprise Exclusive Toronto, Canada”
This little set appears to have only been used for display, it would make a wonderful addition to any collection.

Reversible Apron Heart Shaped Pocket Blue White heart Print

You will be the most stylish hostess any day of the year with this cute vintage lap apron with blue country print hearts and a heart shaped pocket.
The apron measures 17 ¼” long from the top of the waistband to the lowest point on the scalloped hem. Made from a combination of white cotton printed with hearts in blue country dots on white in a horizontal pattern with olive green accents, and plain nylon all trimmed with turquoise bias tape. The apron is reversible as well; on one side the white cotton printed panel reaches half way down the skirtin an overskirt with the full sheer panel showing beneath. The scalloped edge of the cotton panel is trimmed in turquoise bias, as is the sheer nylon heart shaped pocket. The reverse side is totally sheer with a line of white rick- rack braid across the middle and a cotton print pocket trimmed in turquoise bias tape.
The apron is in very nice clean condition, I am not certain if it has ever been used, but may have been washed: the apron is snow white with the nylon skirt and ties being crisp and un-snagged. The heart print and trim are still vibrant in color.
This is a nice little apron to add to your linen cupboard or to your vintage collection.

Miniature Oil Lamp Vintage Floral Porcelain

This sweet miniature oil lamp is so feminine and pretty with the floral design and gold trim.
The lamp is made from white porcelain and stands 6 ¼” high, it has a removable shade and brass colored cap and wick holder. The tiny base has little gold handles on the sides in the shape of puppies with fluffy tails, a bit of gold decorates the 4 tiny legs as well as the borders around the shade.
Roses and morning glories decorate the front and back of the base and shade. The wick is still intact and you could burn your favorite perfumed oil in the lamp but please don’t leave unattended. This is a vintage piece so I would watch it carefully when it is used.
The lamp is in excellent gently used condition, there are no, chips or cracks but the top edge is a bit rough. The decoration is bright and very attractive. The lamp is marked Japan on the base.
This was in my daughter’s room for many years and now it is time to pass it on for someone else to enjoy.

This wonderful jug / pitcher made in porcelain by Sadler would fit into any cottage décor. Standing 6 ¼” tall it is decorated with bands of yellow/gold, a narrow one near the top and two wider ones near the bottom separated by a thin black strip. The front of the pitcher is centered with a large yellow rose in full bloom and several buds, on the back there is a single half open bloom.
The pitcher is in very nice condition, there are a few manufacturing flaws: dents and bumps and a line of brown on the handle all under the glaze that do not detract from the enjoyment of this item.
Use it as a vase, juice or milk jug, functional and beautiful as well.

This pair of terry cloth coffee mug pot- holders would fit right into your retro kitchen décor. Measuring 6 ½” x 6 ¼” they are made from finely woven terry with an un-looped border edged in a bit of narrow white rick- rack braid that ends in a loop.

One holder is mainly orange with a gold mug trimmed with white flowers on one side and green stripes on white in the background. This reverses to an orange mug on gold trimmed with gold flowers on white bordered in green. The other holder is teal blue with a white stripe bordered in orange and a blue mug with white flowers. This reverses to a turquoise background and a green mug with a white stripe bordered in orange dotted with blue flowers.

Both holders are in nice used condition, the colors are still vibrant. I only see one pulled loop in the terr,y there are a few loose threads along the edges but nothing that noticeable.

This great vintage-serving tray would be a wonderful gift for the car buff, vintage car collector or just for a vintage themed home bar.
Made by Baret ware England this is quite a big tray measuring 17 ½” long by 13” wide, it is made from heavy metal with a deep 1” lip. The tray is white in the center and printed with several vintage cars, a colorful red and black trim adds interest to the edges.
It says on the back that the finish is alcohol resistant, so you won’t have to worry when serving up drinks at a party.
This tray is in nice used condition, the front has a few minor scratches to the paint mainly on the top lip, and the back has a few more. There is no rust and the colors are rich and clear.
This tray is a nice size for serving a large group or because of the somewhat oval shape could be used to eat on while watching TV, in the garden or patio or anywhere you want to be able to transport all the necessary utensils at once.

This vintage planter is in the shape of a Saratoga covered wagon. Made from porcelain it is finished in a creamy glaze on the top and interior. The bottom is finished in a combination of browns and beiges with green accents. The planter measures 6 ½” long across the top and about 2 ¼” wide and stands 4” high at the highest point.
The planter is in very nice condition; I don’t see any nicks, chips, cracks or crazing. There are a few pinpoint pocks in the glaze but this is common in vintage porcelain of this nature.

More kitsch for Christmas – kissing Santa salt and peppershakers. This set of shakers features a porcelain Santa and Mrs. Claus smooching it up.

Each shaker is made from unglazed porcelain and stands 3” high. They are brightly painted in vivid red and white with green accents. Mrs. Santa wears a pair of wire- rimmed spectacles on her nose and Santa has a gift behind his back and his bag at his feet. I think he is giving Mrs. Santa her gift before he leaves for his deliveries Christmas Eve!

The shakers have plastic plugs and come in the original box.
Both shakers are in excellent new unused condition with no visible damage. These vintage shakers are unmarked, but the box states that they were made in Taiwan and are from the Russ Berrie Company.

Chipmunks Figurine Woodland Scene

Here is a lovely vintage woodland scene featuring two chipmunks eating acorns. At first I thought these were squirrels then I noticed the gray stripes on their sides and immediately realized they were chipmunks. Made of porcelain this vintage figurine was made in Japan and is marked on the base with a shamrock design. The figurine measures 5 1/8” long x 3 ¾” wide and stands 4 ¾” high to the tip of the tail.
The figurine features two chipmunks a larger and a small one on a gray brown base with a twig from an oak tree upon which is two acorns. The glaze is very thick and glossy and done in shades of taupe / gray, rusty brown, gray/ black, gray, green and white.
The figurine is in excellent used, vintage condition, there are no chips, nicks or cracks but there is a bit of crazing on the base.
I always enjoy the antics of chipmunks when I am in a forest setting, I once had a family living in the drain hole in an outdoor stairwell when I lived in the East, they had a few tunnels under the lawn and a little head would pop up from time to time.

Two Pierced Decorative Porcelain Floral Wall Plates

Here are two vintage decorative wall plates with pierced or cut out designs along the edges. These plates are the type that often has ribbon threaded in and out of the holes ending in a nice bow for hanging.
The first plate is made of white porcelain with a center border of pink roses. The outside edge has a serrated design and the inner portion a uniform series of rectangular slits. The plate measures 6” in diameter. It is in used condition but has no chips, cracks or crazing. Most of the silver trim has worn off over the years but it is still a pretty little delicate piece and would be lovely with a ribbon threaded through. It is marked on the back Bavaria and is quite suitable for you Country cottage décor.
The second plate is almost three sided in shape and a bit deeper than the first. The center of this plated is decorated with a fruit arrangement that looks hand painted. The wide outer border is heavily pierced and decorated in gold with the very outside rim being scalloped. This plate is in very nice used condition, it has been well cared for and cherished, as I can find no signs of damage or wear. The colors are bright and crisp and the gold all-intact.
This again would fit in to any country cottage décor or in any décor or room where you want a bit of delicate color.
I would say that these plates were meant for decorative purposes but that is up to you, they would also be lovely to serve a delicious morsel of chocolate on.

Here are 8 butter pats in the Canadian Pine pattern made for Easterling in Bavaria Germany as stated on the bottom of each pat. The pats are made form white porcelain and have gold trim on the rim. Each measures 3 ¼” in diameter with a ¼” upturned rim and has a picture of the end of a pine branch with a large cone and two small cones. The needles are done in bright green and orangey brown, the cones and stem are brown. These pats are part of a full set of dishes but I only have the pats.
These dishes are in excellent like new condition, shiny and bright with all the gold intact, they look as if they were never used.
These are intended to place a pat or square of butter on at each place setting, but could be used for mints or other sweets at the end of the meal as well.

What is cuter than a boy and his best friend, his dog? This classic vintage picture depicts this so well.
The print shows a young boy in period dress holding his dog, it looks like a terrier or shitzu bichon I am not sure, but a real cutie. Notice the top hat that lies at his feet, so this is a boy from a well to do family probably a print from a portrait. I do not know the history of the original or the artist etc.
The picture itself measures 5 6/8” x 7 5/8”, it is framed in a heavy gold colored wooden frame that is 1 3/8” thick and measures 10 ¼” x 8 ¼” on the outside edges.
The frame is quite ornate with a carved edge with cutouts and a glass insert. The frame has a separate inside matting in wood that is burgundy in color with gold edging.
The picture has a wire for hanging and a sticker on the back attributes the framing to “Rob- Craft Winnipeg Manitoba”.
The picture and frame are in very nice condition. The colors are vibrant and clear with no staining or tears. The frame is very nice as well there are no chips or repairs only a small rub on the bottom left corner.. There is a bit of burgundy in spots on the edge of the frame, it looks as if it was added as an accent.
The back paper is torn and there is a small gap between the matting and frame so a bit of dust has gotten inside.
This is a lovely picture that would suit a Victorian décor or any room where a bit of nostalgia is wanted.

Here is a pair of salt and peppershakers in a nice mid century modern slim line design. Made from ironstone by Primustone, Japan, they are marked “ genuine Ironstone, oven detergent craze proof BRONZE Japan” on the base.
The shakers stand about 6 ½” tall and are in a bronze or light brown, dark taupe- it is hard to describe the color but it is definitely an earth tone and would fit well with any modern décor. The tops are white and the shakers have plastic plugs.
Both shakers are in used condition but are in excellent condition with no chips or nicks and good consistent color.

Spanish Themed Tray Baskets Matador Flamenco Dancers

These two vintage tray type baskets were probably souvenirs of a trip to Mexico or Spain at some point long ago. The two baskets are identical except for the illustration painted on the bottom of the tray. One tray has a picture of a couple dancing the flamenco, the other a matador and bull, these appears to be hand painted.
The trays measure 11 ¾" long by 9” wide and 1 ¾” high. The have woven sides from palm leaves or some such material; each basket has a curved handle at the end for carrying. The bottoms are made from a solid piece of wood about 1/8” thick which has bee pierced along the edges and the sides woven in. the wood is varnished on the top and the picture has been painted on using, black, bright red and green plus cream and brown hues.
The tray with the matador is in very nice vintage condition, the paint is bright and intact, the weaving is solid and unraveled, the only flaw is a black splotch of ink on the base underneath that can’t be seen unless the tray is turned upside down.
The tray with the dancers has two faded spots probably where water sat, otherwise it has vivid colors and is also in very nice condition.
These basket trays are quite sturdy considering the materials they are made from, they could easily be used to carry a couple of drinks, small snacks, fruit etc. They would also be nice displayed on a shelf or hung on the wall.
Add a bit of Spanish flair to any décor.

Here is a vintage novelty frog cruet set that is sure to be a favorite at your table!

Made from porcelain this set consists of a large sitting frog with a lily pad on each knee. On each lily pad is a shaker in the shape of a small frog. The big frog measures 3 ½” high and is 4 ½” wide to the edges of the lily pads. Each little frog salt and peppershaker measures 2” long x 1 ¼” high.

The set is done in a green glaze and the big frog is dressed in a red jacket with a yellow bow tie. The head of the large frog comes off to reveal a compartment for serving mustard or any other condiment you might like.
This set is in very good used vintage condition; the colors are vibrant and intact, with no chips, crazing, cracks or paint loss. One shaker is missing the cork stopper but I may have another to fit.

This great set would make a wonderful gift for someone on your list.

Here is a lovely vintage linen bridge set from Lady Christina new in the box.
The set consists of a square tablecloth measuring 36” by 36” in off white linen with gold edging, as well as 4 -12” square napkins in coordinating gold with a white attached daisy on each corner.
The label states that the set was made in Canada by Decorative Linens Manufacturing LTD Montreal and that the linens are washable.
The box is sealed with plastic wrap that has never been opened so the contents are clean and undamaged.
This would also be a nice luncheon set, brighten up a small table on the porch or patio and add a bit of whimsy with the daisy- trimmed napkins.

Cottage Shaped Vintage Teapot

Have your favorite cup of tea in this unique vintage teapot shaped like an old English cottage. The teapot measures 7” from the tip of the spout to the end of the handle and stands 5 ¼” to the top of the knob on the lid. The pot is made of heavy porcelain in a rusty glaze with yellow, green, brown and orange with black accents.
The pot is scalloped on the front and back to represent the pitch of the roof over dormer windows. The design on the pot is of a half- timbered house with a thatched roof and some brickwork on the sides. The interior of the pot is glazed in white. There is no marking.
The pot is in very nice unused condition, with no stains, vibrant color, light overall crazing and a small scrape on the edge of the spout
This pot would hold about 4 cups lots for an afternoon cuppa with a friend.

Set the table for your next special meal with these 8 vintage napkins that are in new condition. Made from a linen like damask fabric these are real beauties, all 8 measure approx 15 ¾” square and are mainly cream in color with coral borders. The center section is woven with a sunflower pattern that is highlighted with a glossy sheen on a matt background. The wide coral border is woven in a fruit design perhaps peaches or apples along with leaves and flowers, a narrower coral border is closer to the edge. These napkins have a rich, elegant look due to the glossy, satiny weaving.
All napkins are in excellent like new condition and most have little tags saying made in Japan. They may have never been used or at most once and perhaps washed. They are bright and damage free. Two napkins have small yellow stains that seem to only be on the underside and look to have occurred perhaps during storage.
These are so pretty and bright and will draw admiration from the most discriminate diner.
They are sure to brighten up a formal dinner or a casual family gathering.

Vintage Porcelain Doggy Planter

This cute vintage doggy planter was hand painted in Japan. He is made of porcelain and stands 3 ¼” high to the top of his head and is 4 ¼” wide. The dog has his features outlined in black, a bright burgundy tongue and pink accents on his ears and tail, his body has a few x and o type grids in mauve and burgundy The little pot that he holds has blue lattice like decoration on the outside.

The planter is in good used vintage condition, with no nicks or chips but does have what maybe a hairline crack or perhaps a line in the crazing in the pot. The overall crazing only adds to its charm. You will also find a rough spot on the rim where there was a bubble in the glaze.

Despite its flaws, which would go undetected unless very closely examined, it is still a very useful and charming object. This planter would be so cute holding a tiny plant or cotton balls in the nursery, it could also be made into a pincushion.

Royal Copley Leprechaun by Tree Stump Planter

St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and this little leprechaun just seems to be standing around waiting for that day!
This whimsical planter is charming and unique is made in the form of a tree stump on a dark green base, the opening in the top will hold nice shamrock or cut flowers.
A cheeky elf leans against the stump with hands behind his back; he is dressed in green but has a jaunty rose-colored cap. His facial features are molded; brown raised eyebrows, black dot eyes and a round mouth as if he is whistling. At his slippered feet, is a big orangey mushroom.
The planter stands 6 ¾” high and 6 ½” wide across the base. The exterior is molded in a crinkly pattern to resemble tree bark while the base has some faint ridging to resemble the grass. There are three bars across the base so typical of Royal Copley, as is the coloring. Although unmarked I have seen the same planter attributed to Royal Copley on other online sites.
The planter is in excellent used condition, clean and free
from cracks, chips or nicks: the coloring is vivid and clear. There is light overall crazing in some areas.
This is such a cute piece I was highly tempted to keep it myself. If you collect elves, pixies, gnomes or leprechauns this would be a wonderful addition to your collection.

Sweet Red Satin Vintage Puppy Pillow Cushion Cover

This sweet vintage pillow /cushion cover is sure to appeal to the dog lover. Two darling puppies one large one small are printed onto a red satin cover. The puppies are in red, white and blue in a rubberized material and there is a ball in front. The cover measures 16” x 17” not including the outside fringe, and is finished on all edges with white braid with a blue looped fringe. The cover is backed with pink cotton and there is an opening across the bottom where a pillow form can be inserted.

The cover is in very nice possible gently used condition: the colors are bright and un-faded, the trim is undamaged with no frayed loops. The puppy picture is bright and clear but does have a few creases and cracks in the rubber like decal, especially on the bodies possible from folding.

This lovely older cover would be wonderful in a child’s room or add it to any fine collection.

Flower Power Retro Wooden Cheese board with Tile Insert

Entertain your holiday guests in retro style with this colorful wooden cheese board. I had one almost like it back in the early 70s and was tempted to keep this one for nostalgia but my loss is your gain. The board measures 15” long by 8” wide and stands on 4 rubber feet.
A round ceramic tile is inserted to one side for cutting and displaying a wedge of cheese, in the center is a slot and magnet for the cheese knife (unfortunately missing), to the right is an indentation for grapes or other fruit or for an assortment of crackers.
The tile measures 6” in diameter and is white printed with three large daisies in gold, orange and yellow with green foliage, a design that is so typical of the era. There is a tiny sticker on the bottom saying that it was made in Japan.
The board is made from a nice heavy wood with a satiny smooth finish; there are indents on either end for easy carrying. The board in gently used condition, the tile is bright and undamaged; I see two tiny nicks in the edge of the wood that would be easily repaired with a wood stain marker, a tiny chip in the magnet, possibly a flaw.
In general the board is in excellent condition ready to use at your next gathering.

Niagara Falls Vintage Acetate Souvenir Scarf

Here is a vintage souvenir scarf from what was once known as the honeymoon capital of Canada, Niagara Falls. Made from pink acetate with a narrow white border, this scarf measures 19” square and is printed with scenes from the Niagara Falls area. The edges are finished with a narrow machine stitched hem.
These photo like scenes include Horseshoe Falls, Oakes gardens, Floral clock, Carillon Tower Rainbow Bridge, an RCMP officer, boats below the falls, American and Canadian falls, Horseshoe Falls illuminated, the crest of the Horseshoe Falls and American Falls at Prospect Point- all scattered along the outside border of the scarf. The center portion has two scenes – general view of Niagara Falls and a pleasure boat taking visitors: above which is written Canada and below Niagara Falls.
The pictures are in shades of mauve, red, green and white with a bit of black and yellow.
The scarf is in nice used condition and is clean and undamaged except for one pin- hole and the occasional pale smudge; there are no runs or snags. The tag is still attached.
If you collect Niagara Falls souvenirs this would be a great addition to your collection. just the right size for a pillow cover.
As an accessory this little scarf would take you right back to the 50s & 60s.

Vintage Oriental Figurine of a Man Reading

Here is a vintage porcelain 4 ¼” tall, figurine of an oriental man, sitting with a large book in his lap.
He has a long braid and is dressed in a black pyjama- type, costume with a black pillbox hat, the costume as well as the white book are decorated with gold.

This figure is in good condition with no chips or cracks or crazing, there are a few spots where the paint is missing on his toe and the tassel on his cap. There is a small scratch on the left side under his hand.

In general both the figurine is in good used condition and would make a nice gift for the collector or as an addition to your own collection.

CHRISTMAS ANGELS CANDLES GREEN LINEN PLACEMATS RUNNER

Here for your consideration is a vintage set of Christmas linens including 4 place mats and a rectangular table runner. The placemats and runner appear to be made of forest green linen in a coarse weave like burlap with lots of slubs, and are edged with cotton bias tape.

The placemats measure 15” x 11 ¼” and feature two angels with a group of three candles in the centre. The angels are in white, red, brown and glittery gold with black outlines. The candles are white with lots of gold on the base and halos. A narrow black band outlines the entire place mat. Two of the placemats have a lighter green bias finish while the other two as well as the runner have darker tape.
The runner measures 38 ½” long x 11 ½” wide and has the same black border as well as a group of candles at each end and two angles in the centre.

This set is in nice gently used condition, with no holes or stains, the colors are still vivid and fresh with lots of glitter to the gold. You will see the occasional white thread as the items are surface dyed only, the backs are white and sometimes a fibre from the back peaks through. This cute set reminds me of the Danish modern linens of the 1970’s so would look great on your teak table or sideboard.

This lovely little cockatoo bud vase/ planter stands 6” high to the tip of his head. He is perched on the side of a tree stump and appears to be singing his song as his head is in the air and wings outstretched. He is made of porcelain and glazed in the familiar shades of royal blue, pink and turquoise on a gray/ green stump. He has black painted eyes and claws.

The vase is in very nice used condition, I see no, chips, nicks or crazing, and the colors are still vibrant. The inside is clean but does have crazing on the base.

He is unmarked with no sticker and I had a difficult time finding a reference and verification for this fellow, but managed to find him in a different color on another site.

I think he is one of the cuter Royal Copley bird figures and I think you will to!

Linen Lap Apron Autumn Fruits Vintage Find

This wonderful vintage lap apron is just brimming with color and charm. Made from linen it is printed with large clusters of autumn fruits, grapes, pears and apples all in a vibrant turquoise with olive green and black accents. The apron has a wide waistband, and ties and a little pocket all in royal blue cotton. The apron pocket is bound in white bias tape.
The apron measures 18” from the top of the band to the hem and is 58 ½” from the tip of one tie across the waistband to the end of the other.
The apron has never been used I did gently wash it to freshen it up but it still had a sticker on the back, which I hope I can still find! The apron will come to you in clean damage free like new condition.

For the man in your life who likes vintage fashion, here is a Clip on bow tie from Fifth Avenue that is still on the original cardboard and in the plastic container.
The bow tie is made from a brown plaid fabric in dark and lighter stripes with a diagonal beige stripe with lighter single stitches for interest.
This is a clip on type with the clip marked Best Clip USA. The tie measures a little over 4 ¾” long and 1 ½” wide. The fabric content is not marked but it looks like silk.
The tie is in excellent condition and looks un-worn; the clip is tight and snaps closed. The container is missing the ends and the cardboard is worn so I think this has been around quite a few years possibly from the 1950s.
This is a nice tie the soft colors and subtle pattern can go from casual to formal.

Crown Ducal Demitasse Cup Saucer Turquoise Rings

Here is a sweet vintage cup in saucer in the tiny demitasse size from Crown Ducal England.
The set is in a turquoise glaze with a design of concentric rings somewhat like Fiesta. The saucer measures 4 ¾” in diameter and the cup is 2 ½” across and 2 ½” high. The cup has the pointy shaped handle that always reminds me of elf ears! It has an indented base and gradually gets wider toward the top.
The rings are more pronounced on the saucer than the cup and have a bit of lighter glaze around each ring to highlight them.
This is a nice little set to serve a bit of you favorite brew. I am only sorry that there is only one!

Christmas Stockings Santa Hanging Vintage Felt

Christmas will be here before you know it and now is the time to add to your collection of vintage Christmas stockings and decorations.
Here are 2 large vintage stockings made from the old style felt which is more like flannel with a cotton backing. Each stocking is 23” long and about 8” wide at the top. One stocking has a large Santa head and NOEL written in gold glitter, the other a family of snowmen and lime green wool braid trim on the edges. The embellishments are made from the flannel like felt and glued onto the stocking.
Both stockings have loops at the top for hanging. The Santa stocking has a tag saying it was made in Japan. The stockings have been zigzagged around the edges to prevent fraying.
Both stockings are free from rips and tears and are clean condition. The Santa has a bit of white on his beard where a name was written.
The wall or door hanging is made from the same felt as the stockings, a jolly Santa tops a series of 3 bells decorated with large bells that are joined together by green bows. Each bell has a bit of gold sparkle trim. The hanging is in nice vintage condition, a bit frayed on some edges but minor, there is a tiny bit of gold missing along the edge of Santa’s hat.
Three nice old reminders of Christmas past.

2 Vintage Frames Gold Antique Look with Glass

Here are two vintage antique gold colored frames with an antique look dated 1975.
The frames are made from a heavy resin material that looks like wood; they are quite ornate having a beaded inner border and scalloped edges with curlicues and fronds at the corners. The frames measure 8 ½” long by 61/2” wide and 7/8” thick on the outside and 4 ½” by 6 ½” on the inside so would fit a 5” by 7” picture. The frames include glass and have a metal tab on the back for hanging.
Both are marked 1973 made in USA on the frame and 1975 is stamped on the backing.
Both frames are in excellent condition, I do not see any damage of any kind.
My daughter used these to display vintage reproduction post cards, which are included – one for Santa Claus Soap and they other Bon-Ton Polish.
These would be lovely to display family photos or those of ancestors or vintage photos that you collect.

Here is a souvenir lap apron from the 1974 expo – World’s Fair held in Spokane Washington.
The apron is made from white cotton lawn with a heavier central panel printed with scenes from the fair. There is the United States Pavilion, Washington State Pavilion, Oriental Garden and Skyway Safari.
The apron measures 18 ½” from the top of the waistband to the edge of the hem and 26” across the bottom of the skirt.
The apron is in unused condition, clean, with vivid colors and no stains, tears, holes or damage.
This would make a nice gift for someone who collects World’s fair memorabilia or for the vintage apron collector.

Here for those of you who love tales of the old West is a wonderful vintage satin scarf / bandana that contains all the elements.
In each of the four corners you will find the following, a cowboy on a bucking horse (bronco), a cowboy sitting on a cedar rail fence with his lasso and boots near by, a Indian chief on a rearing horse a bow and quiver of arrows near by and in the last corner a saddle and Stetson placed over a cedar rail fence with spurs near by.
The scarf is made from satin acetate and measures 25 ¾” square, it has a machine stitched hem.
The edge of the scarf is printed in a border of green with a narrow twisting looped rope outlining the central area. The pictures are still vivid; they are printed in green, rust and yellow with black accents on off white background.
This scarf is in used condition, it probably dates from the 1950s or early 60s maybe earlier. It is clean and unstained, it does have a tiny 1/8” hole probably from a pin, along the edge as well as one run and a few areas where threads are separated but not broken. (these can usually be worked back into place) very good condition for the age.
This would be a wonderful addition to your vintage western outfit, wear it to the rodeo, Stampede or at other occasions where Western attire is preferred.
This scarf would also make a nice wall hanging for an Old West themed room or collection.

Here is a large souvenir map scarf of the state of Alaska.
The scarf is made of satin acetate and printed with a map of Alaska in the center and at the corners the large head of a husky dog, a moose, a native girl and a polar bear.
The scarf measures 31 ½” by 33 ¼” and is printed on a white background with a 1 1/8” border in green. The map and other pictures are in gold/yellow, teal blue, royal blue, black and mint green.
The sides of the scarf are printed with, a dog sled and team, fisherman in a kayak, polar bear and sea lion, as well as a float plane. Other pictures include totem pole, and crab.
The map is printed with small pictures as well as all the important towns and points of interest in the state.
The scarf is in nice condition; the colors are still vibrant and clear. The fabric is clean and undamaged, I do not see any runs, holes or tears, and the hem is intact. I do see small pale orange smudges in four spots on the gold as well as some black on the green border; all may be from the printing process.
This is a nice big scarf that could also be displayed as a table cover, wall hanging or shawl.

4 Placemats Napkins Lemons Oranges in Fall Colors

This set of 4 vintage placemats and coordinating napkins would be just right for the fall season. Made from cotton with a linen weave the placemats measure 15” long by11” wide, the mats are a pale brown with a gold border. There are two brown panels on each side printed with bright yellow lemons on the left, and bright oranges on the right, gold and pale brown accents add to the interest.
The coordinating napkins are woven in chocolate brown with a gold border and have a pair of lemons in one corner and oranges in the other. The napkins measure 10 ½” by 11 1/4”.
All pieces are in nice condition, the placemats may have been used but the napkins appear to be in new, never used condition.
This is a great retro in fall colors, nice for autumn or anytime of year.

Here is one of the prettiest and most elegant pieces of decorator fabric that I have had in a long while! The colors are quite stunning, ivory taffeta (with a slight horizontal weave like grosgrain ribbon) printed with a one way pattern consisting of a strip of beige centered with burgundy morning glories and rich green vines, bordered with slightly darker swirls and flowers, then large bouquets of roses, peonies and a variety of flowers all in shades of burgundy/ magenta, white, pink and blue with rich green foliage. The pattern repeats and consists of half of the beige morning glory strip a full portion with bouquets, a morning glory strip, a bouquet strip and half a morning glory strip. The fabric measures 3 yards 2 inches long x 46” wide and has a pattern repeat of 17 ¼”. The fabric is in new condition, clean and unused, damage free with vibrant colors. This is a nice medium weight fabric perfect for cushions or small upholstery projects where a rich opulent look is desired.

The cloth measures 64 “ in diameter and is made from medium weight cotton in a coarser linen like weave.
The wide border features Santa Claus holding ribbons as if trying to keep the entire garland of holly wreaths and clusters of bells and holly together. The border is edged with red and holly leaves and berries,
The center part of the cloth is printed with an arrangement of candles, cones and greenery near the border and a circle of red Christmas ball in the center and the very edge of the cloth is stitched in pale red.

This tablecloth is in gently used condition, snowy white with bright red, green, gold and black accents.
The cloth is clean and un-damaged, I think I did see a tiny pale stain but it is very hard to find.
This is a nice cloth for your breakfast table, a round accent table or with a bit of alteration could be made into a tree skirt.

Italian Scarf Baskets of Flowers Abstract Design

Here is another of many scarves that I have collected over the years. This scarf was made in Italy for “Scarves & Allied Arts” as noted on the tag.
The scarf measures 26” square and is printed in a lovely abstract design of wicker baskets full of large yellow flowers almost resembling a large oil painting.
The fiber content is not marked but I believe it to be acetate, the narrow white hem is hand rolled and hand stitched. The body of the scarf is light blue, royal blue darkening to black in a brushstroke pattern. Each corner has a basket in a woven design in a brown/ gold with black accents for the woven strips. The flowers are yellow with black accents and the foliage is the same color as the baskets with black accents. The pattern of two baskets is reversed on the opposite side of the scarf.
The scarf is in excellent gently used condition, the colors are still vibrant and I can find no damage such as holes or snags.

The colors in this scarf have to be seen to be truly appreciated; it would make a wonderful addition to any stylish wardrobe

In one corner there is a large tulip design featuring 5 red tulips all tied up in a royal blue bow, accented with tiny blue flowers and green foliage. A line of black stitching emphasizes the corner. Each of the other 3 corners has a single tulip in the same color and with the same accents.
The edges of the cloth are finished with a ½” crocheted scalloped edging in variegated thread in pink, blue and yellow.
All of the hand- work is well executed; there are no missing or torn threads.
This is one of the nicest tablecloths that I have had, the condition is superb, and it looks like it was never used, perhaps completed and saved away in a cedar chest or linen closet for a very special occasion.
This cloth would look lovely centering a large dining table or on a small bedroom table, anywhere a few reminders of spring or a bright spot is wanted.
This would be a wonderful gift for the collector, someone who loves tulips or anyone who appreciates the many hours that goes into a hand-worked treasure.

Oval Dried Flower Arrangement Picture Convex Dome

I have several of these beautiful dried flower arrangement pictures enclosed in frames with convex domes.
This picture is oval in shape and measures 9” high by 6 ¾” wide, it is enclosed in a gold plastic frame that is ½” thick, on the inside is a narrow white strip of plastic that is outside the glass. Inside the cover there is a green flocked matting of ½” wide, edged with another band of gold metal. The flowers are mounted on a white backing with a leather look texture,
This is a pretty bouquet comprised of corn flowers, bits of grain and tiny flowers in shades of pink, rose, rust, brown, beige, purple and green. This combination is very fall like in appearance and coloring.
The picture is in excellent condition, the colors are still vibrant and clear, and the frame is undamaged. The back is covered in paper that has a black smudge and a bit of surface loss where a sticker was removed. The wonderful convex dome that I think is plastic not glass, as I first thought, is clear and free from scratches.

The picture can be hung from a D ring and a green velvet ribbon attached to another D ring hooked to the top.
This picture is unmarked but many were made in Belgium.

La Marquise Tapestry Purse Bag Vintage Arc de Triomphe Scene

This tiny purse by La Marquise is made from a rich tapestry fabric with a lovely scene of a horse drawn carriage on the streets of Paris passing near the Arc de Triomphe perhaps.
The bag measures 7” long by 5 ½” wide, The frame is gold with raised bead like trim on the top edges and leaves on the sides, a secure clasp keeps it closed and a nice gold chain is attached for carrying on the arm or in hand. The sides of the bag are sewn in a floral fabric composed of ½” single flowers in the tapestry weave in shades of blue, rose, purple, rust, aqua, with black accents. There is black piping around the scene, which is the same on both sides.
The inside of the bag is lined in a gray fabric with a hint of red. A small pocket is on one side and on this you can see “ la Marquise faintly written in gold.
The purse is in used condition, it appears it was well loved but the outside is clean and damage free, the colors are bright and the stitching is all intact with no snags, stains, runs, or signs of wear. The metal parts, clasp and hinges are bright and shiny, work well and have no wear.
The lining of the purse does show signs of use with the name worn and a bit of fading or discoloration.
This is a lovely little bag for formal occasions, just the right size to carry the basics, cell phone, lipstick etc, adequate without being bulky.
This bag would be lovely with a basic suit, little black dress or for a more homespun look with plaids and tartans. Wear it to dinner, the theatre, opera, anywhere a bit of timeless understated elegance is wanted without the bling!

SALE Wooden Slat Purse Vintage Bucket Style Unlined

Here is an unusual wooden purse handbag, made from wooden slats and spacers strung together.
Possibly a lunch box, probably dating from the 1950s or earlier.
The purse stands 6” high and measures 8 ¼” long by 4 ¾” wide, and is shaped like a lunch pail or bucket narrower at the bottom gradually getting wider toward the top. The slats on the body are attached to a wooden base with gold colored nails the slats are 6” long and ¼” wide the are attached or strung along the top to a string with ivory colored plastic spacers in between each slat.
The lid is made from longer slats and joined together in two places with string and spacers. Near the front there is a wooden knob and a wire that fits over the end of one slat to close. A carry handle made from short ¾” slats with two spacers on either side form the handle; it is attached on either side with a metal rivet.
The purse has no lining and I expect that it was removed because of staining or damage. The purse itself is in excellent working order, the slats are free from damage none broken the handle is intact. There is a slight stain just along the very bottom edge of the purse and on the inside, but not outside of the wooden base.
With a vibrant lining this would be a unique and eye catching purse for beach days, summer wear or holiday use. Add a little plaid for a real fashion statement or customize to suit your own personality.

Here is a vintage purse handbag by Creations Dianne Canada in a black patent look vinyl material. The purse is in an unusual shape being a bit longer and narrower than most. The purse measures 11” long by 9 ½” wide, it has a lovely gold colored frame, clasp and double chain handle attached by two rings.
The inside of the purse is fully lined with a leather look material that has a gold edged pocket on one side.
This sack like purse is made from what I believe to be a shiny vinyl material with leather like graining.
The clasps, frame, chain and hinges are all in excellent damage free condition. The purse is in gently used if ever used condition clean and undamaged both inside and out. The inside is deep enough to hold all the necessities.
This purse is very versatile, dressy enough to use for evening or special business lunches, holiday parties, yet would look equally at home when worn with the casual tweeds and plaids of the winter season.
Give as a gift or keep as a treat for yourself!

Bonzo the Dog Pottery Bank Ellgreave England

Bonzo the dog is just waiting for you to feed him a few coins, through the slot that forms his mouth. This cute bank, moneybox was made in England by Ellegreave from heavy pottery in a light yellow/ green color with orange spots.
The bank stands 8” high and is molded into the shape of Bonzo the dog with heavy jowls, a black pointy nose, an orange spot around one of his big black and white eye, a few lightly painted wisps of black hair on his head, thin droopy ears and black painted nails.
In the base there is a rubbery plug. Written on the base is “ Bonzo, Ellegreave, England”
The bank is in very nice condition, the coloring is bright, there are no chips or cracks, there are a few tiny surface flecks to the paint around the face and legs.
Children will enjoy saving their allowance as they can feed Bonzo time and time again.
This is a wonderful old bank just right for storing that extra cash for buying on Etsy!

SALE Rose Chenille Bedspread Double Full Size Floral Design

Here is a vintage chenille bedspread in the most gorgeous shade of deep rose. The chenille is in a short wavy vertical pattern, with a large raised 8- petal flower as the center focal point. The inside of each petal is outlined in round tufts and the outside is surrounded by a scalloped border that has a loop at the inside point of each scallop. The remainder of the spread is intersected with diamonds shaped from tufts. Then the entire center portion of the spread is again bordered with a curved line of tufts having a nice loop at intervals along the design.

This vintage cotton chenille bedspread is medium weight in a double full size measuring 88” wide by 104” long. It has been photographed on a queen - sized bed with a high mattress, it might fit a more traditional lower queen with a bed-skirt as they were usually meant to fit almost to the floor on older doubles.
The spread is in used condition, the color is very nice and there is very little wear. You will find that a bit of the tufting in the vertical wavy design is missing, it seems to be one or two threads in several spots through out the spread, this is so wide spread that it is barely noticeable, About 6” from the top left side there is an area of heavier wear to the background tufting, but because of the heavy tufting in the design and the fact that you tuck this part under it should not affect the use or enjoyment.
I did wash it and hung it to dry, a bit of fluffing in the drier would bring up the tufts. I did not want it too fluffy, as it would take up more space to ship.

This is a lovely spread in a very pretty design, it certainly will make a vintage decorated bedroom stand out and provide lots of wear and enjoyment for years to come.
