This bright, lovely, multicolored scarf is eco-friendly in that it uses the ends of skiens that otherwise might not be used. 100% cotton and very soft, the scarf is approximately 62 1/2" long and 3 7/8" wide (although the width varies as the yarn type & stitching direction change).

This scarf is eco-friendly in that it is made from what was left of several skeins of yarn, thus eliminating any waste I would have produced. I think it's mostly acrylic. Machine wash; machine dry.
With all these colors, this scarf will match plenty of different clothes, and it has its own definite personality!

A soft, 100% cotton scarf in white, turquoise, lime, and lilac. At approximately 68" long and 5 1/2" wide, this may be the largest scarf I have at the moment overall. I wear a scarf made of the same yarn, and it's surprisingly warm given that it's cotton.
The variegated nature of the yarn gives the scarf a nice mottled effect. Machine wash; machine dry.

The plum yarn is 75% recycled cotton and 25% acrylic; the cotton is a byproduct of the clothing industry. The lilac yarn is 74% recycled cotton, 24% acrylic, and 2% linen and/or lycra. Machine wash, machine dry. Scarf is approximately 4 inches wide and 41 inches long (not counting fringe).
The yarn in the scarf is soft and smooth and should provide a medium level of warmth.

Homemade Paper

I made this paper several years ago in a couple of different sessions. I recycled paper and also used flower petals, plants from our yard, etc. It isn't tough or smooth enough that I would write on it with a ballpoint pen, but I think it would work pretty well for scrapbooking. You get approximately 20 pieces. Some pieces are about the size of bookmarks; some of the larger dimensions are about 10 inches.
Was in a smoking household for a while, but hasn't been exposed to smoke recently, and I don't smell any. We have one cat.

The washing instructions on the yarn say to hand wash and air dry, but I have run the same type of yarn through the washer and dryer with no ill effects, so use your own discretion.
