Indian Summer/ A set of small prints

This is a set of 4 of my small prints.
They can be used as note cards, or to glue on a postcard or ofcourse to frame (My miniprints fit perfectly in an ikea Vit Maffig frame, as you can see on the photos).

This printset will be send to you in an artsy giftwrap from thick artist paper with partly deckled edges, a tag is attached.

Now you can "taste" the artsy Hahnemuhle german etching archival fine art paper, you will love its textured matte finish. It's the same paper I use in my larger prints. It is printed with archival epson ultrachrome ink.

The black border is a part of the prints,they are TTV photos (taken through the viewfinder of my old duaflex camera), with a vintage look.

The prints measure 9 x 9 cm, or appr. 3,5 x 3,5 inches on a square paper from appr. 11 x 11 cm, or 4,5 x 4,5 inches so there is a small border left for framing.

They are signed and dated on the back.

"With the wind, the far sounds of the carnival reached my ear and all I wanted was to indulge myself in its fantasy..."

These small pieces of art were created by using both my old smena and my old kodak duaflex, just the cameras to record the nostalgia of fairs and carnivals.

These are truly vintage alike pieces, the surface full of scratches and speckles and it looks like the cards were kept by childrenshands, cherished and traded perhaps:)

I'm combining both analogue and digital technics in this section, to feed my endless curiosity for textures and colors and all that nature gives us for free, it's beauty.
I use ink on negatives, scanning them as a positive film, layering them into compositions which become startingpoints to ponder.

This photo was made with an Ilford Delta 3200 asa film. It's a high grain film.

The negative was scanned in a high resolution and than printed on archival hahnemuhle Photo Rag Satin premium fine art paper, with a smooth textured surface and a subtle gloss (satin) only on the printed area (the unprinted area remains matte) using archival Epson ultrachrome K3 ink.

The image is centered on the paper and measures appr 13 x 13 cm. Which is 5 x 5 inches with an additional border for easy framing.

The print is signed and dated on the back.

This photo was made with an Ilford Delta 3200 asa film. It's a high grain film.
