This is an ACEO, a 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inch Original abstract watercolor painting. My abstracts are purely design, with no hidden meanings, so that is where I got the name for this series. In this ACEO I used primary colors to make an interesting design, then added details with a Staedtler fine point pigment marker. This particular piece has no up or down, as I work on my abstracts from all angles; in fact, I have signed this one in all four corners, so you decide how you want to display it!

This is an ACEO, a 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inch ORIGINAL graphite pencil drawing of a tabby cat. I drew this picture of my cat, Tiny, who was one of my favorite cats when I was a child. I found Tiny at a lumber yard when she was a kitten. She was the smallest of all the kittens there, so she was probably the runt of the litter. I was attending a Girl Scout Day Camp in Vermont at the time, and I snuck her home in my backpack on the ride home on the bus. Luckily, my parents let me keep her. She was quite a character; I always thought she was a reincarnation of Queen Victoria. You can see it in this regal pose. She lived to a ripe old age, and was buried in our backyard. It was drawn with Derwent graphite drawing pencils on a thick art card made with light brown pastel paper bonded to Bristol board. It has been sprayed with a fixative to prevent smudging. This is a pillow top I cross-stitched many years ago. It was by a pattern in a vintage embroidery magazine long since gone. It could be made into a pillow or perhaps framed as a sampler. This piece measures 16 inches square and there is a 1 inch border around the design itself. The cloth is ecru Aida cloth and is cross-stitched with embroidery floss in a variety of pinks and greens. This a lot with 16 large sand dollars that were picked up off the beaches of Mexico in 1981 by my parents on a trip they took there, part of an Airstream Rally. The largest measures over 4 inches across, but the others average 3 to 3 1/2 inches. These would be great for wreaths, arrangements and other crafts. I've kept them all these years and didn't find anything I wanted to do with them. You can see from the photo that they have ragged edges ~ these are natural ragged edges and not from being broken.
These will be carefully packed with lots of padding so they won't break in travel.

Up for sale is a Top Value Gift Catalog from 1976 and 4 filled Saver Books. Also included will be a partially filled Gold Bond Saver Book. The gift catalog is in excellent condition and includes all the original enclosures, ads and order form. The front cover shows some bend marks from being leafed through, but the interior is in pristine condition. The saver books are yellowed with age because they were made from newsprint. This catalog is so much fun to look through to see the items from 1976; it is quite the 'Blast from the Past!'

This is a set of 4 metal beads with a Southwestern motif. They are of an unknown metal, but I would guess pewter, as they feel heavy. The 2 coyotes measure 5/8 inch tall and the 2 cacti measure 5/8 inch and they are about 1/8 inch thick. The holes on the coyotes go from top to bottom and in the cacti they are side to side.
I will mail these in a small plastic bag inside a bubble mailer.

Vintage Gerber Pink 3 Piece Baby Set Roses 12 months

This is an adorable pink outfit that was given to me in 1978 when I was expecting my first baby. All my babies turned out to be boy babies, so I never got to use it. This was given to me by a dear friend, so I always saved it. It is in the same condition as I received it. As you can see by the photos that it is a set with a short sleeved undershirt with 3 embroidered roses tacked to the front. The underpants are double thick cotton (not lined with plastic). The tag states that this set is 100% cotton, machine wash hot and tumble dry. The size is 12 months (19 - 22 lbs.) I can't tell if the socks are by Gerber, but they are a perfect match anyway....
