Lovely delicate cuff of hand formed sterling silver. I used my mill to emboss a pattern on the metal, then added wire and silver balls. The edges have been folded and pressed, then pleated...the result is a little irregular giving it an organic look, which I highlighted with black patina so you could really see all the details. It's light weight, easy to conform to your wrist. You'll never even know it's on! Measures 7/8 of an inch wide, and fits 6 1/2 to 7 inch wrist.

Totally handmade by me and my trusty hydraulic press, I added small sterling silver balls in a few of the folds for interest. The cuff was oxidized to darken the metal and the insides of the folds...makes the silver balls pop!

I am fortunate to have an amazing rock shop just down the road from me. I spend hours looking through it for the unusual and beautiful.

When I saw this tumbled Rhodolite, I wanted to make something to show it off. To keep the totally organic look, I recreated my folded ring in red brass with plenty of patina to highlight the cool details, and enclosed it in tendrils. The band is 1/2 inch wide, and the stone sits 3/4 inch above the band. Fits a size 9.

Mixed Metal Cuff

This heavily oxidized Sterling Silver Cuff makes a real statement when you wear it. I flame cut the base with a hot torch which created the rolled, uneven edges. Then I soldered textured pieces of bronze, brass and silver to it in a random pattern. I love the way this turned out, and that I was able to recycle pieces of scrap from my other designs. It's lightweight and adjustable. Width 1 inch. Fits wrists 6 3/4 to 8.

There's an old joke here...maybe you'll remember it. When I formed this sterling silver "Dunlap" ring, I used two identical pieces and overlapped them. It "dun lapped over"!

I love being inspired by another artist. When I was preparing designs for "The Gathering" of the ISGB in Miami, I had the privilege of collaborating with another Etsy artist, Patty Lakinsmith. Her lampwork beads always provide an inspiration!
I used a folded copper base and brass wire for this one.
I added copper leaves and green patina to set off the flower bead and "buds".

The pendant measures 4 inches from the neckpiece and is a tad over 1 inch wide. The neck piece is 18 inches. You can adjust this piece to fit your neck both in size and contour.

Bare branches, a few left over leaves, frozen in Winter's ice. That's what the Winter Cuff is all about. Totally hand made by me and my trusty hydraulic press, I started with a sheet of Sterling Silver, and worked from there. I hand sawed and formed the leaves, hammered the wire "branches" and add silver balls for detail. Oxidized to accent.

Large gauge Brass wires form this simple neckpiece embellished with a copper leaf and a beautiful lampwork glass flower. The leaf has green patina and the brass has a brushed matte finish. Pendant, from the neckwire hangs 3 inches to the tip of the longest wire. The neckwire is 13 inches in circumference, including a 1 1/2 inch opening. It can be adjusted easily to 15 inches.

If you're a sailor, you know what list means.."to tilt to one side". This unisex sterling silver band is a sailor's delight! I've detailed it with two brass heavy wires that "list" to one side and on that side, you'll see a little flag, which to boaters, is known as a burgee. Oxidized to bring out the detail.

Sometimes all you want is just a small something for the wrist that won't get in the way of your outfit. This hammered copper bangle is just the right thing, and I've embellished it with tiny brass balls so it doesn't look too plain. Great casual look!

This Sterling silver cuff was inspired by one of my customers. I was searching for variations on my YaYa cuff for her three daughters (shhh!) and this is one of my favorites.

I made the etched brass plate that I used to emboss the cuff a couple of years ago, and I was happy to get to use it here. If you look closely you can see the Art Deco faces.

I used brass wire, and silver casting grain for the center and oxidized it to bring out the detail.

Size: Made for a 6" wrist, it can be adjusted up or down 1/2 inch.

Sterling Silver pendant with Jade cab set in a fine silver setting. Hand stamped detail, and wire formed bail, I added sterling silver feathers for some good old fashion Native American luck!

Shown here on a 24 inch sterling silver box chain, I can substitute with a shorter chain of 20 inches. Other shorter chains are available in 16" and 18" lengths, but they are not box chains. Convo me if you would like a shorter option.

If you're familiar with my body of work, you know how much I love to use my hydraulic press. There's just something unique and organic about the results. The results are always a surprise, and then I embellish it with what I think suits the design.

This folded copper is a hunk of a ring! I embellished it with sterling silver leaves, some wire and a few balls. Since the design itself tends to be bulky, I kept the embellishments to a minimum. It's big, but it's very comfortable! Oxidized to highlight the details.

Sometimes my inspiration comes from the gorgeous lampwork beads made by Patty Lakinsmith, here on Etsy. While we were working on some collaborative pieces for a conference in Miami, she sent me some of these really fab beads. I call them "twisties".
Set in Sterling Silver, this bead sits 1 1/8 inches above the finger. I've wrapped the sterling wire with balled ends around it and added oxidization to bring out all the details. I wouldn't recommend it for digging in your garden, but if you're looking for a humorous, attention getting cocktail ring - this is for you.

I call this hand made sterling silver pendant my "techno" phase. All the large hand made silver "beads" swivel, so it doesn't matter how it hangs from the stainless steel wire collar. The steel wire collar has hand made sterling silver end caps and clasp and measures 19 1/2 inches long (including clasp). The pendants measures 5 1/2 inches long, the largest bead is 2 inches wide and the smaller beads are 3/4 inches wide. Truly dynamic worn on a turtleneck sweater or something black!

When I finished this pendant I thought it looked more like the birth of the lil meanie than a flower. Hence the name.

Inspired by a collaborative neck piece that Patty Lakinsmith (http://pattylakinsmith.etsy.com) and I did. (see last photo)

Made entirely by me from copper sheet, Patty's bead emerges from a handformed and cut dome, embellished by a leaf and handformed "ruffles" and oxidized to bring out the details. It's hung on a brown velvet necklace that adjusts from 18" to 20". The pendant is 2" by 2".

This is really an attention grabber!

I don't really make many things for men, but I was inspired by a friend who haunts the art fairs and is a bit of an artist himself. He's always looking for artsy stuff and says, repeatedly, that women have all the fun! So I wanted to prove to him that men can have fun too!
I made this sterling silver ring using my trusty hydraulic press, added wire and silver balls for the detail, and oxidized it to emphasize all the crazy folds. This ring is heavy enough to be worn by a man, but light enough so they won't even know it's on. It's 1/2 inch wide in the front and tapers to 1/4 inch in the back.

Believe it or not, I dreamt of this design. Guess I've been so busy, my subconscience is even getting in the act!
The center of this necklace is copper, formed with the hydraulic press and Brass wire was soldered onto it to form the collar. It's solid, doesn't dangle, but is adjustable to any size neck. Brass balls, more brass wire and patina were added to give it that surreal appearance. The pendant, including the wire measures 3 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide. The neck piece measures 16 inches and can be adjusted easily to fit. Truly a unique piece.

I've made this piece in silver and it looks wonderful. If you're interested in a different metal than what is shown, just convo me to discuss.

Cassiopeia was a queen in ancient Greek mythology. According to legend, she boasted she was more beautiful than the sea nymphs. Her boast angered Poseidon, god of the sea, who sent a sea monster, to ravage the kingdom. To pacify the monster, Cassiopeia’s daughter, Princess Andromeda, was left tied to a rock by the sea. Perseus the Hero, rescued the her. The gods were so pleased, that all of these characters were elevated to the heavens as stars. Only Cassiopeia suffered an indignity – her vanity caused her to be bound to a chair and placed in the heavens so that, as she revolves around the north celestial pole, she is sometimes in an upside-down position.

This necklace is my homage to her. Sterling silver, handformed, by me, even the chain..with copper beads and wire. The neck piece measures 1 inch wide, and the pendant hangs 3 1/2 inches below that. It's lightweight and somewhat delicate, but definitely made for a queen!

I think this ring says "Stop and smell the roses"! No, it's not scented, but it definitely makes a statement.
Sterling silver with a copper and brass rose, oxidized to bring out all the details. I purposely did not refine this ring to look all smooth and shiny. It's organic looking and I love the way the brass and copper will change, as I left it in it's natural state. No sealer. It sits tall, very tall, so I wouldn't go digging in the garden while wearing it. But it will definitely get noticed!

Holly Neckpiece

I usually don't do a holiday piece, but this year Christmas is going to be very different for me, and I thought I'd do one or two pieces to spread a little cheer.

This neckpiece was handmade by me from copper sheet and wire. I hand cut each leaf and added them to the copper wire I twisted. Each leaf was handpainted and sealed with epoxy. It's totally adjustable, so you can make it fit the way you want it to.

Measures 15 inches around the neck...but can be adjusted up or down. The long leaf section hangs 4 inches from the neckwire.

You'll be the center of attention at that Holiday party!

I was inspired by the changing of the seasons, with falling leaves, and bare branches. This handmade sterling silver necklace is full of possibilities! You can wear it any way you want! When Aphrodite first stepped ashore on the island of Cyprus, she was a “modest and lovely Goddess”, since known as the Lady of Cyprus. Her gentle domain was intended to be “the sweetness of love” and “the whispering of girls” but her adventures, and the adventures of her children, caused as much misery and bloodshed as any of the immortals.

This necklace was created as part of my Strong Women series. It's hand formed with copper, flame colored to give it a very earthy appearance. The colors range from dark red to orange, gold, and black. Wrapped in copper and suspended from the folded neckpiece is another beautiful bead from Patty Lakinsmith.
The collar is 18 inches at the neck, but I can shorten it if you want. The pendant and collar together measure 3 1/2 inches in length. You'll really feel like a goddess in this!
