DIY OOAK Green Plaid Taffeta Formal Corset Big Bow Dress With Eyeballs

$300.00
I made this dress a couple years ago for a sewing contest and I intended to wear it to prom. I got second place in the contest and did not wear it to prom, so it is in brand spankin' new condition. It was only worn briefly to model.
The main fabric is a lightweight green plaid taffeta and the lining is a really cool Halloween taffeta with eyeballs.
The eyeballs peak out at the bottom and at the bows in the back. To hold the dress up there is a corset type lace up
in the back under the two big bows, and there is also a zipper on the lower half . The dress is a little complicated to get on, but when it is on it looks AMAZING! I made it with the intention of selling it so it will fit a variety of sizes.
The waist will fit a max of 30", and the bust will fit a minimum of 30". My measurements are bust-35" waist-26" hip-40" and it fits me very well. The length of the top is 9", and the length of the bottom is 27".
It looks like it is longer in the back because of the dip in the skirt under the bows. If your waist is larger there will be less of a dip there. If you have ANY other questions about the dress feel free to contact me.

Water and Sand Maxi Dress

$44.00
This is a new design this year and one that you will continue to see at least in variation for years to come. I drafted the pattern this spring and am complimented on the prototype dress every time I wear it.
This dress is made of a lightweight cotton blend knit fabric with a raised printed design. When I purchased the fabric a little girl with her mother told me it looked like the beach where the water hit the sand, I was smitten. All of the seams are serged for movement and durability. It is a very comfortable and easy dress to wear and the sizing is based on your bust. I would suggest for this dress an A or B cup.
Bust: 32-36"
Under Bust: 28-30"
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask!
These were made several years ago with the intention of being sold at a local trading portal but were put into storage after it went out of business. When I found them I giggled a little at some of the details. The seaweed on the front and waves on the back are drawn in permanent ink marker, and the small sea animals are puffy fabric paint. They have quite a bit of character and deserve a good home. If you would like me to add any other small details I will do it at no extra charge. (ex. symbols, phrases, poem verses, dates...)

The last picture is me wearing it on the runway next to my beautiful model who is wearing the challenge garment. The knit dress she is wearing is now available for custom order as well.
This dress was made from a light polyester satin fabric and is lined in thhe bodice and a portion of the skirt. It is very comfortable and was only worn for a few hours that day (it has been dry cleaned). This was a little big on me so I would suggest it for a size medium/large or large with a cup size of B-D depending on how modest you are. If you send me your bust and waist measurements I would be happy to tell you how it would fit you.

After the shirt is cut I stretch it to remove all of the shed and create the shape. This skein is purple and 40 yards long.

This yarn is also available for custom order in custom dyed colors and to specific lengths. I can also connect two skeins of yarn in an almost invisible splice for free. Just purchase two skeins of yarn and add in the message to seller that you would like them spliced.

Tie Dye Burnout Top

$22.00
This is a top that I purchased new from Kohls and hand dyed with Dharma Procion Dyes. It is a miss size medium and the brand is Sanoma. The shirt is woven cotton polyester with a burnout polka dot design. Only the dots contain cotton because of the burnout process, thus only the dots have been dyed. I used light colors so it would not be oerwhelmingly bright and it is tied in a sprial pattern. It looks great alone but also nice with a belt. The scarf pictured is not for sale but can be purchased at www.purselove.com.
