~About this journal~
This is a pocket (3.5 x 5.5 in) leather refillable moleskine-sized journal cover with an authentic suede tie closure. It is equipped with a new genuine Moleskine notebook (see refill options below).

All our leather covers are entirely handmade. The leather sides are hand-picked and then stamped using a dying Argentine artform called “cincelado,” creating a cover you simply cannot find anywhere else in the world. The stamps used for this journal are a combination of hand-cut Argentine stamps and U.S.-cut stamps. Our covers are then dyed and stained, and finally sewn with long-lasting waxed threads.

This pocket journal cover is designed to fit all selections of Moleskine Hardcover Pocket Notebooks, including sketchbooks, music notation books, and squared journals.

We equip our pocket covers with genuine Moleskine lined journals(192 pages; value of $11), but we also stock plain notebooks. If you prefer the plain, contact us immediately after purchase, either by sending us a message via Etsy or a personal email to "artist@sojournerleather.com".

Moleskine is one of the world's most famous journals/notebooks, and can be found at art stores, Barnes &Noble, Borders, etc. This cover also fits Pen and Ink (found at art suppliers), Handbook Artist (also found at art suppliers), Markings (found at Target), as well as many other moleskine-sized journals. So although the leather cover can't be found anywhere else in the world, the refills are extremely easy to come by.

~About the Name~
This design is named after one of the most widely traveled sojourners in classic literature, Phileas Fogg, of Jules Verne's "Around the World in Eighty Days" (1873).
