This gorgeous butterfly original watercolor painting is first in a series of bugs and insects in ACEO size. Look for more to come.

The card comes in a nice cellophane cover to protect it, with a certificate of authenticity that includes the title, date and artist signature. I miss the Pacific Northwest coast, especially the seastacks. I used to live only about an hours drive away from the ocean. This beach is in Olympia National Park in Washington State, but you can see seastacks all along the northwest coastline.

I think nebulae are enormously fascinating and gorgeously beautiful. The Horsehead Nebula is found in the constellation Orion just below the star that is furthest left on Orion's Belt. It is not visible to the naked eye, but it is really pretty.

I think nebulae are enormously fascinating and gorgeously beautiful. The orion nebula is one of the few (and the brightest) nebula visible to the naked eye. It is just below Orion's belt and actually makes up the middle part of his 'sword'. I had the National Geographic fold out poster of it on my wall as a kid. It is my favorite.

How do elephants stay cool in the summer? I don't know, I've never been to Africa, but this elephant stays cool in the sprinkler.

I drew the Elephant in by hand with pencil and ink on cold press (textured) watercolor paper, and colored him with watercolor. I then scanned him into the computer and printed him out on 8 1/2" x 11" Velvet Fine Art Paper. Its a nice heavy weight, archival paper that prints out beautifully. The print measures 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" so it will fit perfectly in an 8 x 10 frame with a nice border. Frame not included.

I will ship it to you 1-2 business days after payment. It is protected in cellophane between plastic corrugated stiffeners for added durability during shipping.

Horsehead Nebula - ACEO limited edition print

I think nebulae are enormously fascinating and gorgeously beautiful. The Horsehead Nebula is found in the constellation Orion just below the star that is furthest left on Orion's Belt. You need a pretty good telescope to see it though. Or a nice print!

What is it about saying something in French that makes it sound that much more appetizing and elegant?

The apple was drawn with prismacolor pencils. I then scanned it into the computer and added a choice of brown, yellow or blue backgrounds. If that doesn't match your house, let me know, and I can customize it for you. The text is open to customization as well.

She's a bit too fat to play on the seesaw, and is blissfully ignorant of it. I'm certainly not going to tell her and risk hurting her delicate feelings. One doesn't trifle with rhinoceroses.

If you had an alligator as a pet, you'd put him in the bathtub too, of course! This is part of my series of watercolor illustrations for a book I wrote. It goes along with my Backyard Elephant, and Seesaw Rhino.

I adore sailing. I think sailboats are one of the few man made things that blend well visually with nature instead of mar it. Perhaps because sailboats rely on the power of nature to function. Whatever the reason, there is a certain serenity I associate with this painting that I don't think would be complete without the sailboat.
