The bigger flower measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter and the smaller flower measures just about 1 inch in diameter. The total width of the flower hairpin measures 2 3/4 inches.

<Flower>Each blossom is about 1 1/4 inches. The center of the flowers is a Swarovski crystal (silk color for the two flowers on the side and blue color for the center one). The fabric is Japanese rayon and is hand dyed by me.

Reindeer Christmas Ribbon Ornament

It is an art to make these ribbon ornament. Ribbons are more delicate to work with than the regular paper. You will get more compliment than the mass produced ornaments in the craft stores.

This ornament is made with 5 yards of patterned ribbons, 5/8 inch in width (1.6 cm). The ribbon was first cut into 30 strips and then carefully folded into small individual units. The last step is to stitch them together by hand. I took great care to make this ornament just for you and I hope you will enjoy it!

The size of the ball is about 3 inches in diameter. I will add a ribbon tie for you to hang on your tree.

A great conversation piece for your party or, even better, a great display in your office!

This sweet flower hairpin is made with fabric in a kanzashi, Japanese fabric flower, style. Great accessory for a flower girl in a beautiful wedding!

This adorable blossom is mounted on an antique silver tone mini hair comb. The dimension of this comb is 22 x 35 mm (about 7/8 x 1 1/2 in).

The size of flower measures about 1 1/4 inch in diameter. The height of the flower is about 1/2 inch (when viewing from the side). The center of the flower is a pink-tinted freshwater pearl. A mini dangle is accented with a pearl bead and a mini gold bell. The length of the dangle is about 2 3/4 inches.

The flowers are made with bridal gown fabric.

The larger flower measures 1 3/4 inches in diameter and the small flower measures 1 1/2 inches in diameter. The two flowers spread out about 3 inches across long and about 2 inches wide. The larger flower itself stands 1 inches tall when viewing from the side. Two freshwater pearls are used as the center of the flowers.

The dangle measures about 3 3/4 inches long. Four white Czech heart-shaped glass beads are added to the dangle.

You can gently adjust the teeth of comb to fit the contour of your head better. The flower comb is perfect for a half-do or updo hair style! A great piece for a prom night, party, or weddings!

Daisy Ribbon Ornament For Baby's First Christmas

This ornament is made with grosgrain ribbon. Ribbon is first cut into 30 strips and then carefully folded into symmetric cones. The finally step is to sew them into a ball. The whole process takes a long time to complete.

The grosgrain ribbon is only 3/8 inch in width. The completed ball ornament is only 2 1/4 inches in diameter. The difficulty increases as the width of the ribbon decreases.

The beaded tassel adds another 4 inch to the length of the ornament. A few mini jingle bells are added to accent the ornament.

A mini picture is added to this ornament, so you can put in the picture of someone special.

ACTH stands for Adrenocorticotropic hormone. It is a polypeptide hormone produced and secreted by the pituitary gland. Oh, I am not here to give a lecture about what it is... This is a beautifully designed pocket mirror. It features ACTH in a graceful style! Yes, stress hormone can be very stylish, too. I scanned the image from an old textbook and added color and background. Why there are 39 bubbles? Because this hormone has 39 amino acids!

It is pressed by hand with a professional button machine and materials and covered with mylar. The mirror is real glass, not cheap plastic. A great gift for people who are interested in physiology/biology/organic chemistry, etc!

I cannot resist to make my ribbon ornaments into earrings. They are not your usual daily earrings. Sure enough to make you stand out of the crowd.

<Size> My regular ribbon ornaments are big enough to hang on your trees or rear mirror in your car, but these are delicate. These are mini size, 1 3/8 inches in diameter, 3.5cm. The hooks are sterling silver, a 925 mark is stamped on the hooks. Two soft off white freshwater pearls are strung on the silver plated wire accenting these beautiful ribbon ornaments. I have also added a few crystal rhinestones to the ornaments, so they will beam under the light. The overall length from hook to the bottom of the ornament measures about 3 inches, less than 7.5cm. They will go great with your white gowns (or any black-and-white dresses).

Absolutely a bold statement and one of a kind. They are made from 1/4 inch, in width, ribbons. First, ribbons are hand cut into 30 strips, meticulously folded, then hand sewn together by me. How many hours have I spent on making these? Ummm, only a few days. The outcome is amazing. Other color is available for custom order too.

This is a fabric pocket mirror. I have covered the fabric with mylar to prevent it from getting dirty. It is pressed by hand with a professional button machine and materials and covered with mylar. This flower comb is made with two different color of Japanese rayon, purple and pink.

<Flower> The larger flower measures about 2 inches and the small flower measures about 1 1/2 inches. The two spread out about 3 1/4 inches wide.

<Dangle> The dangle measures about 4 inches long. and is decorated with one pearl bead and two freshwater pearls are used to accent the dangle.

The flower comb is perfect for a half-do or updo hair style! A great way to add some flair to your style. Perfect for any occasions in your busy life!

*Miss Mini kindly modeled the flower for us in one of the pictures. She is only 4 1/2 inches tall. ^^

This sweet flower is made with Japanese organza fabric. Two tiers of petals make up this lovely flower. These two organza fabrics used are darker and lighter raspberry color. This particular fabric will give a shimmering effect under the light. It is very hard for the camera to catch this gorgeous color. The color of the pictures will also vary on the computer monitors used.

The center of the flowers is a pink-tinted freshwater pearl. The size of the flower is about 2 inches and is mounted on a 2-inch silver-plated bobby pin. Simple, yet elegant.

This is made with chirimen fabric.

Creamy Yellow Chrysanthemum -- Fabric Flower Hair Comb

Chrysanthemum is one of the "Four Gentlemen" in Chinese art (plum, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum). It is also one of my favorite ornamental flowers.

This piece is made with a creamy yellow color Japanese rayon.

The silver plated comb itself measure 2 inches wide and 1 inch deep. The flower measures about 2 1/4 inches in diameter. The center of the chrysanthemum is a freshwater button pearl. The dimension of the butterfly is a bit short of 1 1/2 inches.

Both the butterfly and the flower bud are suspended on wires and then attached to the chrysanthemum. You can gently bend the wire to adjust the angle of the butterfly.

The dangle measure about 4 1/4 inches long and is accented with two tiny enamel jingle bells.

**Pictures were taken with two different backgrounds. The purple background enhances the color of the flower while the plain background shows the original flower color.

Baby's First Birthday -- Ribbon Ball Ornament

I love ribbons. To learn the reason why I made ribbon ball ornaments, please read my profile.

This is made with grosgrain ribbons. It is much thicker than the poly ribbon. Very hard to sew with, but I managed to make them into this pretty ribbon ball.

It has a mini picture frame so you can put a tiny picture in there. The back of the frame I added a few buttons and rhinestones to decorate it.

The size is about 2 1/2 inches in diameter. The whole thing, from the bottom of the ball to the tip of the picture frame, is about 4 inches long.

It is very cute, but it is *not* a toy! A great conversation piece for your baby or, even better, a great display in your house!

Christmas Black and White Ribbon Ball Ornament

It is an art to make these ribbon ornament. Ribbons are more delicate to work with than the regular paper. You will get more compliment than the mass produced ornaments in the craft stores.

This ornament is made with 5 yards of patterned ribbons, 5/8 inch in width (1.6 cm). The ribbon was first cut into 30 strips and then carefully folded into small individual units. The last step is to stitch them together by hand. I took great care to make this ornament just for you and I hope you will enjoy it!

The size of the ball is a bit shorter than 3 inches in diameter. A short seed bead string is added to the ribbon ball ornament as a loop to let the ribbon tie thread though.

A great conversation piece for your party or, even better, a great display in your office!

This cherry blossom has a different look. The petals are smoother and have a soft look.

<Flower> The blossom is about 1 1/4 inches in diameter. It is made with bridal gown fabric. The center of the flower is a glass pearl.

<Necklace> The silver tone necklace is is 20 inches long. An extension, about 1 1/2 inches, is added. I added a glass pearl to it too, to give it a feminine and delicate look. Eight freshwater pearls and two glass pearl beads are used to accent this lovely necklace.
