This painting was done by Jason Collins with Windsor and Newton Acrylic Paints on hand stretched Canvas.

The canvas is stapled on the back, leaving the sides staple free. The canvas was actually painted prior to being stretched, so the edges are also painted.

It has a wire strung across the back and is ready to hang.

I'm not a religious person, but I'm a huge fan of nine inch nails. The runes in the middle read "Trent Reznor is God". I originally hung it upside down but people just didn't get it. LOL The would come up to me and say "Some idiot hung your painting upside down" or they would just hang it the other way. Now that the canvas is stretched properly it can only be hung right side up. That is unless you want me to change the location of the wire on the back. ;)

This one was done on 80# charcoal paper and the drawing measures 18 inches by 24 inches. The total dimensions including the matt are 24 inches by 28 inches.

The piece was done using chalk and charcoal when I was doing a concentration on spirals.

The piece is shown unframed because it was easier to photograph that way. It does come matted and framed.

This is a large piece at three feet wide by three feet tall. It's ready to hang with a wire strung across the back. It has black wooden framing, with gold painted highlights for the edges, and a wire across the back for hanging. The piece is a little old, but in great condition. It's a recycled canvas in that I applied acrylic gesso over an older painting I did not like.

This is an original painting not a reproduction or a print.

This piece has been priced to sell. Amanda doesn't like it and we just have no room for it. The price on this one has been cut in half! Originally priced at $350, get it on sale now!

This one is a bit of a mixed media piece, although you can't really tell from looking at it. I started it with just pencil and added black colored pencil and even watercolor pencil to get those really dark spots. I just hate when graphite doesn't really get black, it just gets dark gray and shiny. So I used these other tools instead. Just don't get it wet ;)

This one is actually a few years old. I haven't wanted to let go of it, but I think I'm finally ready see it find a new home. It's currently matted and framed with a white mat and black metal frame.

I don't know the exact dimensions off the top of my head since this is an older one, but I'll check those and edit this later. For right now lets just say it's about 18 inches square.

It was inspired by a photo on the inside cover of a Type-o-negative CD, although I think it's only found in the limited edition digi-pak version. The CD is Bloody Kisses and you can see what the original photo looked like here...

Looking back on it, I think I like mine better. Maybe that's just the arrogant artist in me. :) I titled it beliefs because people kept asking me if it was Jesus or an angel or something. Anyway hope you like it as much as I do. :)

life size Original Wire and Plaster Sculpture Seated figure OOAK 3-D

This wire man was a 3-D self portrait project. It was created with galvanized steel, annealed wire, copper plaster, and a few found objects. It is life size and was completed in just two weeks.

He was originally a project in high-school, and I've kept him in good condition, but he tends to creep out Amanda so I keep him in the basement. I'd like to see him put in a new home where he'll be appreciated and seen.

He would look great anywhere! He can sit in the floor on on a chair or couch as shown in the photos, or he can be hung from the thick wires in his neck. When hanging his pose resembles a more fetal position.

By the way, the glue that was randomly on the floor was not used for this piece. All parts are held in place by the wire.
