Magi Lune- Fossil Fern Pendant

$80.00
"The energy that ferns got from the sun millions of years ago is now lighting our night."

Once upon a time, a beautiful fern tree grew in a swamp. All day, she soaked up sunlight and stored it in her fronds. The sun’s energy helped her grow tall. The biggest frond was Magi Lune. Every day she stretched closer to the sun. Until one day, the sky grew dark and a strong wind blew and Magi Lune’s stem snapped. She fell from the tree into the dark water, sank to the bottom of the swamp, and thought her journey was over. But nature had a different plan for her. For a long time, she lay in the swamp, until someone dug her up from Seco Park, IL and gave her to me.

I set this gorgeous fossil fern in a simple sterling silver setting as to not distract attention. I polished the silver to a high shine, then gave it a brushed finish. I initialed the back and gave it a small hidden bail. Magi Lune is 2". Due to her organic nature, she can not, and will never be duplicated.

***Shipping***
All items come gift wrapped. :)
This item is sent out UPS.
Fireworks- Copper Pod Pendant

$35.00
Now it's day and I've been trying
to get that taste off my tongue
I was dreaming of just you, now our cereal, it is warm
Attractive day in the rubble of the night from before.

I made this somewhat tribal and organic, pod looking, spiculum pendant out of copper forged by hand. I left it (and its sterling silver bail) in its burnt fresh from the torch state to give it a more natural and used look. Like a firecracker. This pendant is a little over 2 inches including bail, chain pictured is not included.

Buried In Teeth- Fossilized Horse Tooth Pendant

$55.00
For many thousands of years horses roamed Florida, there were three different species of horses that were here. Starting with the smallest, a three-toed horse about the size of a dog. The second species was about the size of a Shetland pony and the final species was almost the size of a modern horse. Then about 10,000 years ago they went extinct until the Spanish reintroduced them to this continent. This fossilized tooth was found near a river here in Florida. I set it in sterling silver. Which I detailed with tiny arrows and gave it a bail that will fit most sized chains. I then oxidized the silver to give it a rustic look and bring out the arrows detail. This pendant is a little over 1.5". Chain pictured not included. Looks great on a guy or gal on a long chain.

***Shipping***
All items come gift wrapped. :)
This item is sent out UPS.
C.Barton- Civil War Bullet Pendant

$75.00
Named after a great American pioneer, this pendant symbolizes the strength and compassion that Clara fought for. Dug and Found in Virginia this bullet was the most commonly used in the Civil War and is over 100 years old. I set it in sterling silver, included nicks, dings, a small hole and oxidation to complement its age. The bail is large enough to fit most sized chains. This American Relic is a little over and inch. A great statement piece anyone, male or female. I think it would be the perfect gift for a history buff, or peace activist. Chain pictured not included.

Clara Barton is most remembered for organizing the American
Red Cross Society. As a young girl she was shy, but she overcame her timid nature to become a very influential women during the Civil War. She was a nurse during the Civil War and cared for the wounded. After the war she began a search for missing soldiers. In 1881 Barton established the American Red Cross Society and has it become a life saving organization for the past 100 years that has saved countless numbers of lives. They help disaster victims and casualties during wars. Clara Barton excelled in several careers in a time when women were expected to be just wives and mothers. She was also an adviser to politicians including senators and the president.

***Shipping***
All items come gift wrapped. :)
This item is sent out UPS. Its off riding the waves....
This piece of genuine sea pottery was found in Maine where my relatives found it on her shores. It seems to depict some foliage, waves, and a water fall in black and white. It gives me a sense of simpler times.
I set it in sterling silver, which I gave a hammered texture, like the tumbling it got from the ocean. Its bail is somewhat hinged for movement and has a twisty o-ring that fits most chains. Waves of Rye measures 2 inches long at widest points.

***Shipping***
All items come gift wrapped. :)
This item is sent out UPS.
$50.00
I found these wonderful vintage buttons at a local antique store. I immediately had to have them. They are at least vintage, but most likely older. I have a few of them so just email me your size finger and ill make a ring just for you out of one. I will set it in sterling silver, just like the one pictured. I can also finish it however you wish. I can oxidize it to make it look aged, I can leave is shiny and bright, or even give it a brushed look. The button itself is a 1/2". I wear mine with my stacking rings most of the time for a dressed down look, and when I'm feeling fancy I wear it alone. I can also make these for your bridal party. They would make lovely gifts. As of right now, I have 2 buttons available.

***Shipping***
All items come gift wrapped. :)
This item is sent out UPS. Includes insurance and a tracking number. Flat rate $10-

Jack-daw's Plume as Peacock- OOAK Mask

$175.00
First in a series of masks inspired by Aesop's Fables. This is the story of The Vain Jack-daw.

"A certain Jack-daw, which is just a fancy name for a crow, decided he was too good for the rest of his friends, so he flew around picking up peacock's feathers.
When he had enough , he dressed himself up in them and went over among the Peacocks and proudly flounced around like one of them. But the Peacocks soon saw that he didn't belong, and they tore at him with their claws and bills until he didn't have a pin-feather to his name.
Battered, bruised and pretty ashamed of himself, he crawled back to his own kind, but they wouldn't have him either. One of the wise ones told him: 'If you hadn't been ashamed of your old friends you'd still have them, and you wouldn't have been beaten by your betters.'

The Point: Be Yourself."
(taken from Aesop's Fables new version written by Munro Leaf)

***This mask was entirely hand made and sculpted out of paper mache, then hand painted using acrylic and water color. What began as a concept took complete shape on it's own creating what you see here. The left side shows a crow upside down displaying confusion and mind disorder with a peacock on top establishing his desire for something he isn't. On the forehead is a banner saying "Vera Sjalfur" which is Icelandic for "Be Yourself"
The mask is meant to be displayed as a wall hanging or display piece.

It is nicely wrapped in tissue paper and ribbon as well as securely packaged in bubble wrap. To insure a safe ride to your doorstep.
