This quilt is so intricate with lots of piecing on the diagonal. It took a long time to sew these pieces and the quilting is also stitched on the diagonal with different colored threads. It measures 25"x31" and would be a wonderful wallhanging for any room that needs a splash of color!

Colors vary slightly from the original quilt and are very hard to match. The pinks especially come out a bit brighter in the photos. Cotton fabrics and batting were used in the piece and should be hand washed and air dried if needed. It comes with a sewn in sleeve on the back for easy hanging and is signed and dated by me. The backing is a black material which really shows off the colorful quilting.

This unique quilt has been stuck in my head for a while now and I decided to let it out! I used beautiful batik fabrics to cut out my shapes and then found a wonderful background fabric that looks like outer space! The shapes are appliqued down and the quilting outlines each shape. I love how it came out!

Black is very hard to photograph so colors do vary slightly from the quilt. In some it looks shiny but it's really not.

Time involved in making this quilt: 2 hrs. drawing & cutting shapes, 3 hrs. for applique, 3 hrs. quilting and finishing. Total: about 8 hrs.

This is one of the few quilts I have created using a pattern and that’s because the pattern was given to me as a gift so I just had to use it! Four different block designs were used and the quilting is sewn in a yellow thread. I think the color scheme of blue, green and yellow really makes the design stand out. The green and blues are batik fabrics which are very hard to color match in the photos. The green especially is a little darker in the photos. I can also see this quilt draped across a table as a centerpiece.

My daughter and I found this beautiful T-shirt with the horses and it inspired me to make a quilt from it. I've made a lot of quilts but never one with a T-shirt incorporated into it. I think it turned out beautiful! I rarely follow a pattern with my quilts so they are truly one of a kind. The quilting was sewn "in the ditch" or in the seams so it can only be seen on the back which is the dark green fabric as in the binding.

There is a convenient sleeve sewn on the back for easy hanging or it can be drapped over the couch or bed to accent any room. If washing is needed, I recommend hand washing to avoid shrinkage.

Scraps of cotton material were used from previous quilts, laid out in a pleasing design and then machine pieced. The unique quilting was done in a random rectangular design and really sets off this quilt. The backing fabric is blue and green batik with fish stenciled in it.

This striking quilt features lots of applique, decorative stitching and batik fabrics. Twelve individual fabric pieces were carefully cut out and appliqued down in a pleasing design arrangement. The focus fabric features three birds in beautiful aquas, purples and magenta.

I love to take left over scraps from the larger quilts I’ve sewn and make them into small art quilts that look like a framed picture. These little quilts are a great way to add some color to a room or as a table centerpiece. They would also make wonderful gifts since you won’t find another one like them. The quilting on this one was sewn with a purple thread and done in a random triangle pattern as can be seen in the close up photo. The backing fabric is the same as the small inner border with the white background. Colors do vary slightly from the original quilt. In this one the pinks are a tad brighter and the green not quite as bright as in the original.

All cotton fabrics are used so hand washing and air drying are recommended if needed to avoid shrinkage. This piece was designed as a wall hanging so there is a convenient sleeve sewn on the back for easy hanging. As usual I have signed and dated the quilt on the back.
