Landscape Earrings

I have been hanging out with some very talented artists. A lot of them did at least one beautiful landscape painting which inspired me to create these earrings.

It took me a while to find just the right blue for the sky; one that's not overpowering yet lift the color up by a bit. I'm so glad to have found this blue kyanite stone. It has a bit of silvery streaks to it. The round beads are called sardonyx (dyed). To give it a bit of a texture, I wove the wire around the sardonyx stones.

Returning from the fields at dusk with the day’s bounty (my fantasy :-)). These earrings feature multi-color tourmaline, sunstone, vesuvianite, non-tarnish gold-colored wire, and gold plated earwire. I used a basket weaving technique to create the stone bed; a texture that I like and I hope you do too.

I got the inspiration to create this necklace from a pile of mandarin, lemon, and lime in my kitchen. I love the taste and the smell of it. From top to bottom the 3 inch-long pendant contains an orange sunstone, green tourmaline, and spectrolite (people also calls it blue labradorite).
