A super soft cowl that will keep you warm long after the flowers have gone.

The black stripes are in fluffy 'Angel Hair' yarn. The yellow stripes are in a crazy, super-bulky yarn that varies in thickness, giving it an interesting texture. It looks deliberately tattered, but that's just how the yarn is. It's a very soft yarn, made for baby blankets.

This cowl is 21 inches around, 4.5 inches wide.

Care is hand-wash only. That's actually less annoying than it sounds.
Just place in a cool, mildly soapy bath for 5 minutes or so, then a cool rinse bath. Any rough washing may spoil the fluffiness of the yarn. Press in a towel to squeeze out excess water, and dry flat.

Soft and fluffy, with a bright blue cat's eye button right in the middle. Hand crocheted in super warm "Angel Hair" yarn - 22% wool, 50% acrylic, and 28% nylon.

The light color is a soft off-white, flecked with a warm tan color, and looks very soft and rich against the black yarn.

When buttoned, it measures approximately 15 inches around.
4.5 inches long.
The button tab and loop are in a non-fluffy wool/acrylic yarn. As you can see in the photo, the button tab slides down to a point when fastened. A complete design accident there, but a happy one.

Care is hand-wash only. That's actually less annoying than it sounds.

Thick black and grey stripes button up with three green cat's eye buttons.
The black stripes are in a super warm and fluffy "Angel Hair" yarn - 22% wool, 50% acrylic, and 28% nylon. The slightly wider grey stripes are a faux mohair that's 100% acrylic

Cowl is 8 inches high and 13 inches in diameter when closed.

You know those cartoons where someone's trying to put out a fire and tiny little bits of flame break away from the main fire and cause all kinds of trouble?
Well, I caught one and tamed it!

Flame orange, with burning blue eyes. Sallymander is approximately 14 inches high.

Not for children under age 4.

Care: Spot clean with a damp cloth.
If more thorough cleaning is needed, machine wash in lingerie bag. Gentle cycle, cold water, mild soap.
No machine drying. They come out of the spin cycle only slightly damp.

Remove any clothing and jewelry before washing.

I love this yarn. I want to make everything with it. It's called "Angel Hair" and it's 22% wool, 50% acrylic, 28% nylon.

The light color is hard to get right in the photos. It's a soft off-white, flecked with a warm tan color, and looks very soft and rich against the black yarn.

12 inches square, with a 3 button closure on its stripey back. The interior pillow is sheathed in pre-laundered, color-fast, black cotton satteen.

Care for the crocheted cover is hand-wash only. That's actually less annoying than it sounds and you shouldn't need to do it too often.
Just remove the pillow and place in a cool, mildly soapy bath for 5 minutes or so, then a cool rinse bath. Anything too rough may spoil the fluffiness of the yarn. Press in a towel to squeeze out excess water, and dry flat.
