I have purse packs available in a variety of colors and sizes. The case featured in this listing will hold 4 tubes of lip balm or twist-up perfume easily (with room for possibly one more)!

Reusable Fabric Holiday Gift Tote (Plaid and Winter White Burlap)

This little tote is the perfect gift bag. Lined with woven plaid fabric (not a print), the outside is a winter white burlap. It's trimmed with buttons and has a custom designed handle with contrasting muslin fabric (double sided handle) with red outline stitching. There's a handmade, multi-strand tie cord to secure your items inside. The cord can be tucked inside the tote if you don't need it.

The overall length when hanging is approx. 13".
The bag itself is 3.5" deep and 7" high.

There are so many things you (or, the person receiving this tote as a gift) can do with it after you get it home!

If you order a custom made puff you can choose the type "fluff" you want. Just ask if you have questions! Not wanting to cause unnecessary confusion.....but, all puffs are customizable as long as I have the fabric : )

I had several discriminating coffee loving noses check this out, and, everyone agrees that is smells like freshly roasted coffee beans! There are those out there that don't like coffee and I can't figure out why.....what's not to love about it? Anyways, this balm has the base ingredients of my regular lip balm recipe with the added bonus of the richness of coffee butter and natural cocoa butter. With a touch of stevia to sweeten it very, very lightly it is the perfect cup of coffee (so to speak) for your lips : ) Nourishing, moisturizing and yummy!

The bottom is squared off and has a rigid cardboard bottom to provide stability and structure. SUGARED CRANBERRIES!

To keep with the *cranberry* theme I added a couple of cranberry colored ribbons to the soap.....made with real powdered cranberry seeds. It is a purely authentic *cranberry* color! Unlike whole seeds which are quite pretty but very, very textured, the cranberry seed powder is much less scrubby. The amount of scrubby you'll get from this is minimal. Just enjoy the aroma and the lovely colorings!

The *sugar* on top is actually a sea salt mix, including pink sea salt.

A little scrubby and a lot of aroma : )

If you just love the smell of coffee in the air, this ought to be a useful little bar of soap you'll really love to sniff! Finely ground dark roast coffee contributes to the color and the scrubby. Real coffee, by the way - ground the beans myself! Each bar weighs approx. 3.5 oz.

It has been over a year since I first started making this soap. It is still a personal favorite of mine (there's always one next to my kitchen sink). It's also a shop favorite that makes a great gift idea for the cook in your life that just might also happen to be a coffee lover as well!

This is what happened with my very first batch: I'd never used a coffee soap in the kitchen before and I'd heard it could work wonders removing onion and garlic odors from your hands. My oldest son HATES onions. The smell is especially offensive to him. Sooooo, I knew he'd be my best candidate for a sniff test : ) I didn't tell him *why* I wanted him to sniff my hand. I just ask him if he would give it a little sniff and tell me what he thought. If I had told him I had rubbed a sliced onion all over my hands he would have never helped me, so, best not to tell! He sniffed a couple of times and said "it's kinda spicy like cinnamon and coffee". I smiled. I then told him I had rubbed my hands with onions and used my coffee soap to wash it off. He then grabbed my hand and sniffed again, this time trying to catch a whiff of the onion, trying to prove me wrong I'm sure : ) Nothing. The onion hater didn't smell a thing! So, as far as I'm concerned it works pretty good. Since onion is actually an OK smell to me I wasn't sure if I'd be the best judge on the effectiveness of the coffee soap!

What I love about this soap:
1 - Thick, creamy lather that is absolutely luscious.
2 - The bar itself has a silky pamperific glide
3 - The scents are crisp and true
4 - The texture is soft against your skin and it leaves you feeling very well cared for : )

One of the base components of this bar is my *Bar Naked* soap which is an enriched soap full of pampering oils. It comes unscented and is the perfect choice to use in this formulation. Bar Naked contains avocado, olive, castor grapeseed, rice bran, sunflower and wheat germ oils as well as shea butter and palm and coconut oils. I used 65% Bar Naked for this formulation and blended it with a higher quality commercially prepared soap base containing additional shea butter, coconut, palm, and, castor oils as well as sorbitol, sorbitan oleate, safflower oil, and, Kosher vegetable glycerin.

By using the process of blending the two soaps together I get the benefits of having the better properties of both all in one bar. My blog about this is a little lengthy but is a good explanation if you are wondering *why* I'd even bother! The end result is quite nice and is a lovely product I am very pleased to offer to my customers!

I've used cocoa powder, cinnamon powder and vanilla bean powder to achieve the different colorings.

Here in south Louisiana the French Creole influence is fairly evident everywhere you go. Some of the most profound influences that are indeed the most wonderful are in the foods that are so unique to this part of the world. This uniqueness extends to our coffee that we love so very much (my favorite). Roasted and packaged right here in Louisiana near my home town, it is, in my humble opinion, the best there is! I started drinking this coffee when I was a kid!

The bath soap was *brewed* using my favorite Louisiana coffee in a hot soap mixture. I then used cheesecloth to filter the coffee grains out of the mixture which created a smooth as silk soap that has a lovely *fresh roasted* aroma to wake you up in the morning!

The kitchen soap was made the same way...but, there are some coffee grains remaining in the bar to help gently scrub your hands while working in the kitchen.

The gift recipient will also enjoy the sisal washcloth included with this order. It is wonderful for exfoliating, and, adds a pampering touch to any bath or shower.

The lip balm was made with real coffee butter and smells (and tastes) yummy!

This bath mitt was made (by me) using woven hemp fabric on one side (soft) and natural sisal (little bit scrubby) on the other! The best of all things natural for your bath. Paired up with some handmade soap and you are ready for the perfect bath : )

The mitt is sewn using a secure over-lock stitch - no raw seams on the inside : ) I've reinforced the stitching at the top edges, so, it can take what you dish out!

Hemp is naturally resistant to mold and very strong. It'll last longer than any cotton product you may have tried in the past. Easy to care for. Just rinse it out between uses, blot with a towel and hang it to dry using the hemp loop.

Each mitt is approx. 5.5" wide and 8.5" long and will fit an average size adult hand and a bar of soap.

Charcoal is one of my favorite soap additives. The benefits of using a soap that contains activated charcoal are many.
One of the most impressive attributes of activated charcoal is its ability to adsorb (not absorb), which means it actually attracts other substances to its surface and holds it there. As that translates to soap, those other substances are impurities found on your skin! Although it is difficult to imagine, it is said that one teaspoon of activated charcoal has the surface area of 10,000 square feet! That, plus its ability to *draw* impurities to itself, makes this a super cleansing bar of soap! Also, there's a bit of bentonite clay added to make it extra creamy.

Ingredients: saponified oils of olive, avocado, grapeseed, rice bran, coconut, palm, hemp, castor, and, sunflower. Also, sodium hydroxide (lye), distilled water, activated charcoal and bentonite clay.

Each bar weighs approx. 4.5 oz. or more. Hand cut from a loaf.

An all natural balm loaded with essential oils, beneficial for dry skin on your hands and fingers as well as an unflavored, soothing lip balm for chapped lips.

This tube contains .75 oz./21 grams
This balm has essential oils of lavender, lemon, tea tree, chamomile, jasmine (and others) that will aid in not only soothing your cuticles but also your lips. It is perfectly fine to use it for both!

There is a noticeably natural but very pleasant scent from the essential oils used. The color is achieved simply from the combination of the natural ingredients. No artificial colorants. I have also used beeswax and candelilla wax.

You'll also find Vit e (natural and acetate), and, 9 other oils and butters, all chosen for their known qualities for aiding in the healing of damaged skin. This product is only intended for use in soothing minor skin irritations due to cold weather, everyday overuse and exposure to excessive moisture or drying elements. It is not a substitute for medical attention for severe conditions (external use only -OK!).

Nearly every product I make is a result of a specific need I have, or, I'm addressing the need of a customer, usually a customer who also happens to be a friend or family member....that's how the conversation begins. This product was formulated to address my needs and has proven to be helpful for several others that have the same concerns.

I work with fabrics a lot and in doing so the natural oils in my skin are depleted. I frequently end up with dry, cracked skin, particularly on my fingers. It is a common complaint among those of us that do work with fabric. I've used many commercial products. Most did soothe to some degree. Some were way too greasy. Some made little if any difference at all in the situation. I have thrown several containers in the trash.....after they sat in a drawer for so long they were no longer usable. The point is, if the product did what I wanted it to I would have used it up and gone back for more.

I don't formulate anything using another artisan's recipe. First of all, I won't risk trusting that they have it all figured out only to find out they didn't. Quite a lot of research went into this formulation with these goals in mind: soothe the skin, promote healing, protect, and, use only natural ingredients. I cannot and do not claim that this product will heal any disease or skin ailment and those that suffer from severe conditions should see their physician to address those problems (I can't say this enough).

I have an ever growing appreciation for the benefits of essential oils and what they can do naturally to help with our physical issues and concerns. I've included some that are not commonly used in commercial preparations, simply because they are a bit more costly to use. I understand the concerns of cost and take that into consideration. But, I want a product that is not only affordable but also one that works. It can be cheap and do nothing to benefit the situation and ends up in the trash. That, to me, is expensive.

Please ask questions. I'm happy to assist you with any concerns that you may have.

A list of all ingredients will be included with each purchase. Lavender EO is not recommended for pregnant/lactating women or very small children. Consult your doctor if you are uncertain about any ingredient and discontinue use if you experience any irritations. I make this statement so that you can be informed on all levels. The ingredients are pure and 100% natural. Most people will only benefit from the use. Some, however, will discover a sensitivity they did not know existed. Be aware of this and if you have a reaction please do not use it again until consulting a doctor.

Lavender Soap (hot process) with Jojoba Oil, Lavender Essential Oil, and, Lavender Powder

This is the same basic recipe as my original Lavender Facial Bar, but, with a slight improvement.... (let me explain) : )

First of all, this is a *made from scratch* soap. I decided to make this new batch using the hot process method. It gives the soap a different texture on the outside, but, has a good payoff in that the cure time is cut down significantly. Also, this bar has the distinct advantage over the previous recipe in that it has been superfatted with jojoba oil.

Jojoba oil is actually a vegetable wax. It isn't a *cure all* for oily skin, but, it has been shown to be helpful for some of us that have to deal with oily skin. Jojoba oil is very similar to the sebum our own skin produces. Used on oily skin it has been known help discourage the overproduction of sebum - the stuff that clogs up pores.

As with the original recipe I have continued to use lavender powder and essential oil, as well as white kaolin clay. Lavender has properties known to be beneficial for oily skin. Again, not a cure, but, a natural ingredient that has proven useful in some cases.
(NOTE: it is recommended that pregnant or nursing women NOT use products with lavender essential oil. It is also recommended that very young children (babies/toddlers) not be allowed to use products containing lavender or other essential oils unless approved by a physician).

White kaolin (China) clay is very gentle and makes the soap extra creamy.

Other ingredients:

avocado oil
olive oil
coconut oil
palm oil
hemp oil
rice bran oil
grape seed oil
castor oil

As with any of the cold/hot process soaps I make I also used sodium hydroxide (lye - neutralized in the curing process), and, distilled water.

Each bar weighs 5 oz. or more (handcut from a loaf, so, the weight for each will vary slightly).

CHAMOMILE CALM (Cold Process Soap) with Chamomile Essential Oil

This is a handmade soap made using the cold process method. Fully cured and very gentle.

German Chamomile essential oil and chamomile powder provide the wonderful aroma! Pure chamomile is just naturally a soft, fresh fragrance : ) Grab a cup of chamomile tea and soak away your stress!

The formulation itself yields a wonderfully skin friendly bar of soap.
Skin pampering INGREDIENTS: Saponified oils of olive, avocado, grapeseed, hemp, rice bran, castor, coconut, and palm, and, soy.

Each bar is handcut from a loaf and weighs 4.5 oz or more.

(Sodium hydroxide *lye* and purified water were also used to create this truly wonderful handmade soap. Once the process is completed the lye is neutralized and the soap is ready to use. Without the lye you can't make the soap!)

Jojoba beads are amazing little micro spheres that ever-so-gently help to exfoliate dead skin cells without irritating sensitive facial tissue. Wonderful for encouraging circulation! White kaolin clay is a perfect detoxifier and will effectively draw out impurities from the skin without over-drying. Handmade olive oil soap, along with the clay, provides creamy, light suds action and allows you to gently use your hands to massage your face as the jojoba beads exfoliate, the clay removes impurities and the oatmeal soothes.

Use the amount shown in the second picture (spatula included). Place in the palm of your hand, add a small amount of water to activate, and, gently using your fingertips, apply to your face. If you choose, leave it on your face for a few minutes (approx. 3-5 min.)as a facial mask, to allow the clay to dry slightly on your skin to cleanse pores. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. Your skin will feel refreshed and revitalized!

I use it twice daily (morning and night). Because my skin tends to be a combination of dry and oily I alternate between this formula and my sensitive skin cleanser (sold in my shop). The needs of my skin vary from day to day and I alternate accordingly. You should adjust your usage to the needs of your skin. If any irritation occurs discontinue use. This product does not contain any preservatives, animal products, colorants, dyes, or fragrances. It is a plant and mineral based all natural cleanser. Not for use on or around eyes.

Buttermilk and Honey - Blended Creme Handmade Soap

There's comfort food and then, of course, there's comfort soap : ) For me, a traditional oatmeal, milk and honey has filled that niche. Recently I came across a new twist on that one and I'm so completely hooked! Buttermilk and Honey has a luscious, sweet, and creamy aroma......it is *comfort/pampering* conveniently located in one place!

I broke from my usual formulation I use with the blended soaps to try something other than Bar Naked. The cold process base soap for this batch was a skin nurturing soap that has goat's milk, honey, and, oatmeal in it (contains 40% of the goat's milk soap, 10% of Bar Naked - see below for further explanation on *blended soaps*). So, all of that to say, this bar is 50% handmade cold process soap.

(My original Oatmeal Soap listed in my shop has a lot of oatmeal in it and offers excellent exfoliating benefits. This soap, while it does contain oatmeal, is smooth, creamy, and very gentle.)

This soap weighs approx. 4.5 oz. or more.

What I love about this soap:
1 - Thick, creamy lather that is absolutely luscious.
2 - The bar itself has a silky pamperific glide
3 - The scents are crisp and true
4 - The texture is soft against your skin and it leaves you feeling very well cared for : )

One of the base components of this bar is my *Bar Naked* soap which is an enriched soap full of pampering oils. It comes unscented and is the perfect choice to use in this formulation. Bar Naked contains avocado, castor, grapeseed, rice bran, and wheat germ oils as well as shea butter and palm and coconut oils. With most blended bars I use at least 50% Bar Naked in the formulation which is blended with a higher quality commercially prepared soap base containing additional shea butter, sorbitol, sorbitan oleate, safflower oil, and, Kosher vegetable glycerin. It also brings to the mix additional shea butter, coconut, palm and castor oils. The soap is this listing contains all of the above with the addition of the ingredients previously listed (goat's milk, honey, oatmeal, and, olive oil).

By using this process of blending the two soaps I get the properties of both in one bar. The blog on this is a little lengthy but is a good explanation if you are wondering *why* I'd even bother! The end result is quite nice and is a lovely product I am very pleased to offer to my customers!

Of the numerous qualities hemp possesses, when used as a component of a nature based shampoo bar, it consistently yields fabulous results! Hemp oil is a light oil that is able to penetrate deeply into the scalp to nourish and protect hair follicles. It contributes to a balanced blending of nutrients required for healthy, strong hair. Leaves hair shiny and full. Some studies have proven that hemp is also greatly beneficial in stimulating hair growth.

This is an excellent shampoo bar but it still is the greatest thing to use as a body bar as well. Hemp oil is gentle and soothing. Use it head to toe!

No added scents. No added colorant of any kind. No botanicals. Just a simple, uncomplicated, easy on the skin, suds rich soap! Each hand cut bar weighs at least 5 oz.

This soap makes the best shampoo bubbles that are extremely thick and a lot like whipped cream! Rinses clean and leaves your hair soft and manageable.

(Also, the oil in the photo is the actual unrefined hemp oil in the soap. It's beautiful! And, if you'll look really closely you can see the lovely hemp fabric used as the backdrop for the photo! I do have such a fondness for hemp!)

Ingredients: Saponified oils of avocado, grapeseed, coconut, palm, rice bran, hemp, sunflower, corn, apricot, shea butter, wheat germ, and, castor.

* Shea butter absorbs into the scalp quickly and provides deep nourishment for the hair shaft. It is a great moisturizer and helps to soften dry, dull hair. Shea butter is also helpful for dry scalps and thought to be beneficial for new hair growth.

* Avocado oil contains lecithin which is a protein. It is excellent as a conditioner for hair and scalp.

* Castor oil is a natural emollient for hair and will penetrate to make hair soft. It moisturizes and restores sheen.

* Rice bran oil contains natural anti-oxidants and is helpful for adding sheen and manageability to hair.

I've also used sodium hydroxide (lye) and distilled water. The lye is neutralized when the soap making process is complete - and, it isn't "real" soap without it! Full of natural glycerin this is a true skin pampering treat!

This bath mitt was made (by me) using woven hemp fabric on one side (soft) and natural sisal (little bit scrubby) on the other! The best of all things natural for your bath. Paired up with some handmade soap and you are ready for the perfect bath : )

The mitt is sewn using a secure over-lock stitch - no raw seams on the inside : ) I've reinforced the stitching at the top edges, so, it can take what you dish out!

Hemp is naturally resistant to mold and very strong. It'll last longer than any cotton product you may have tried in the past. Easy to care for. Just rinse it out between uses, blot with a towel and hang it to dry using the hemp loop.

CRANBERRY FIG!

For those that prefer a scent that is on the softer side, this is a fragrance that fits that description. The overall aroma is very light. This is a *sweet* smelling soap with the crisp tartness of cranberry blended nicely with the sweetness of fig. Bottom notes of blood orange and pink grapefruit add a well rounded touch to the finished product.

Crocheted using hemp. Hemp has a gentle but effective scrub-ability that is almost massage like. It is an excellent fiber to use for this purpose. Hemp is naturally resistant to mold and it gets softer the more you use it....but, it isn't likely you'll ever wear it out!

This item adjusts via a hemp drawstring. It's round but quite flexible and conforms to any shape bar. It's a handy little item for tucking all of your little soap bits and pieces into!

The drawstring loosens up easily and then tightens securely to hold in whatever you need it to hold! The hemp drawstring cord is long enough to tie in a cute bow to display, or, tie it up in a shower to allow it to drain and dry between baths. I usually blot mine with my bath towel to remove any excess water, and, by the next time I need it it's all dry and ready to be used again! That's one thing I really love about hemp. It is a fabulous fiber that has strength and durability and it dries out rather quickly so that your soap doesn't just sit in a soggy wet bag and dissolve!

Each soap-saver is made upon request, so, you won't get the exact item in the picture. You may request to have the hanging loop or not (see picture). I make 'em up fast, so, don't worry about receiving your order! Chances are I have some all ready to go because I sell locally and try to keep items ready made. You also have a choice between the multi-color drawstring, or, the dark khaki color (see photos).

As with all handmade soaps, keeping them out of standing water is crucial if you want them to last. With that said, I'd recommend that you use the loop or drawstring to allow it to drip dry while hanging or let it sit in a well drained soap dish - no puddles! This is a good rule of thumb for all handmade cold process soap in or out of a soap saver!

Made (by me) using woven hemp fabric on one side (soft) and natural sisal (little bit scrubby) on the other! The best of all things natural for your bath. Paired up with some handmade soap and you are ready for the perfect bath : )

The pocket is sewn using a secure over-lock stitch so there are no raw seams on the inside. I've reinforced the stitching at the top edges, so, it can take what you dish out!

Hemp is naturally resistant to mold and very strong. It'll last longer than any cotton product you may have tried in the past. Easy to care for. Just rinse it out between uses, blot with a towel and hang it to dry using the hemp loop.

A very feminine powder puff that is a duplicate of my own puff : )

The top layer is a delicate burnout fabric that has a simple botanical motif in a soft robin's egg blue with cream accents. The under layer is comprised of two layers of a cream organza that has a slight bit of shimmer to it. The effect is very nice with the burnout fabric over it. A bottom layer of white cotton fabric was added for stability. The handle is finished off with two pressed glass buttons which not only add a bit of sparkle, but, also make it easier to grip. PLEASE NOTE: I have a variety of clear glass vintage buttons, so, the ones you receive may differ slightly from the ones shown.

This puff has been a long time in the making! I've had several requests for a travel puff for men.

This is my original design based on a puff I had as a child. The powder actually goes INSIDE the puff. The puff closes easily and securely to keep the powder where it belongs - inside!

This is an earthy stripe in a decorator weight fabric. The handle is a faux leather. A copper-tone metal button is used for the closure for the puff and matching travel case.

Your fella can easily refill the puff as needed with his own favorite powder, or, use the custom blended talc-free powder (4oz.) that comes with this order. *Cucumber Slices* is a fresh, crisp fragrance that is amazingly *true to life* : ) It is a refreshing fragrance that smells just like cucumbers - very clean and green! Each slice is handcut and weighs approx. 5 oz.

Not simply a *melt and pour* soap, this is one of my favorite Blended Creme soaps - created purely for indulgent pampering! The feel is very much like silky whipped cream, and, the scents are pure olfactory splendor! Indulge your soap fettish!

French green clay contributes to the serenely soft sage green color.

What I love about this soap:
1 - Thick, creamy lather that is absolutely luscious.
2 - The bar itself has a silky pamperific glide
3 - The scents are crisp and true
4 - The texture is soft against your skin and it leaves you feeling very well cared for : )

One of the base components of this bar is my *Bar Naked* soap which is an enriched soap full of pampering oils. It comes unscented and is the perfect choice to use in this formulation. Bar Naked contains avocado, olive, castor grapeseed, rice bran, sunflower and wheat germ oils as well as shea butter and palm and coconut oils. I used 65% Bar Naked for this formulation and blended it with a higher quality commercially prepared soap base containing additional shea butter, olive, coconut, palm, and, castor oils as well as sorbitol, sorbitan oleate, safflower oil, and, Kosher vegetable glycerin.

By using the process of blending the two soaps I get the better qualities of both in one bar. The creamy white swirls and curly-cues in this bar are bits of unscented *Bar Naked* and do not affect the integrity of the soap. It is indeed a fully blended bar. Peppermint Tea is a delight! Uplifting and refreshing.....in a cup, or, as a bar of soap : )

I decided to keep two lovely scents on their own turf! The green layer is scented with peppermint essential oil and is colored with powdered peppermint leaves. The lighter color is scented with Earl Grey Tea fragrance oil. Pungent and purposeful - like having a tea party and spa day at the same time (wouldn't that be a dream come true?)
The dark speckles you see in the lighter colored soap are a bit of ground vanilla beans I added to impart a little visual treat. They really don't contribute to the scent of the bar at all.

Each bar weighs 4.5 oz. or more.

Blended Creme Soaps are usually offered as limited edition fragrances. Some, as with this particular fragrance, return to inventory every so often because they have become favorites and are requested frequently. Blended soaps are intended purely for indulgent pampering. The feel is like silky whipped cream and the scents I've chosen are truly top-notch olfactory splendor!

What I love about this soap:
1 - Thick, creamy lather that is absolutely luscious.
2 - The bar itself has a silky pamperific glide
3 - The scents are crisp and true
4 - The texture is soft against your skin and it leaves you feeling very well cared for : )

I use my unscented soap *Bar Naked* as a base component for the Blended soaps. It is a wonderfully enriched soap full of pampering oils. It contains avocado, castor, grapeseed, rice bran, and wheat germ oils as well as shea butter and palm and coconut oils. I used 50% Bar Naked for this formulation and blended it with a higher quality commercially prepared soap base containing additional shea butter, sorbitol, sorbitan oleate, safflower oil, and, Kosher vegetable glycerin. It also brings to the mix additional shea butter, coconut, palm and castor oils.

By using this process of blending the two soaps I get the properties of both in one bar. The blog on this is a little lengthy but is a good explanation if you are wondering *why* I'd even bother! The end result is quite nice and is a lovely product I am very pleased to offer to my customers!

Tuscany is a richly proportioned slice of nature's best aromas found in cypress, olive blossom, sage and rosemary. It is the soothing earth mix you'd expect to find at a spa......uplifting and fresh.

Each bar weighs approx. 5.5 oz. or more. The lovely yellow coloring was achieved by using ground annatto seed, which also accounts for the splendid speckling on top : )

PEPPERMINT VANILLA!

This is one fragrance that I personally enjoyed very much last holiday season - so much so that it's back again this year! It is a yummy blending of two of my favorite aromas, peppermint and vanilla.
