While working on some product photography for a local leather crafter, they shared with me their WWII German Boot Kit. This was carefully preserved in it's vinyl pouch. The fact that the wooden spool of thread was in such good condition, the twine still wound, and that the tubes of 'schuhcreme' were labelled in both German and French was of particular interest. Especially given the nature of French/German relations at the time.

There is an accompanying image of the 'die busten' portion of the kit available as well.

For anyone who is nostalgic about an era gone by, a cobbler, or a military afficianado, this image and its counterpart may just bring a smile to their face.

The matboard on this print is a textured cream with a white accent/inside.

I was vacationing in the UK and had taken the train north to Edinborough one winter. While we were at the top of the hill just outside the castle, I noticed a church window. The window's angled leaded glass reflected all three other corners of the intersection. This is now a very popular image in my architecture collection.

One of my favorite locations for botanical images is the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.

This cactus was very large, but the repeating lines and intersections on its tips caught my eye moreso than the plant on the whole. I do enjoy macro images. This is now a very popular image in my botanicals collection.

While at our local botanical gardens I was struck the intricacy of the cracks and colors in the lilypad.
With its one solitary water droplet resting alongside this cropped image of a lilypad is an abstract image that often invites the question, "What is this?"

While on a photojournalistic portrait job with a family I happened to turn around and find this serene image of the stream and woods behind me.

The curves of the creekbed, the sunlight in the trees and on the water, in combination with the autumn colors was simply breathtaking.
