SALE - Mug Grab Bag - Shipping included

$15.00
Back when I was a little tyke one of my favorite things to come around in the summertime was the grab bag. It happened once a year during the Lumberjack Day's sidewalk sales in my hometown and it was fabulous. It could have been the mystery, the possibility of a pair of Fonzie socks, or a hair crimper, but whatever it was, it was great.

In honor of this summertime tradition, I am offering the same mystery and excitement with some of my pots.

This particular grab bag includes one randomly selected mug or teacup from the collection you see in the photo. It will be sent to you for $15 (shipping included!)

These mugs usually go for $18-22 before shipping, so this is a heck of a deal.

-------
Handmade pottery goes through many stages from start to finish. It is a labor-intensive process that results in a unique end piece. Each pot holds in it the mark of the maker giving the user a connection to the process. This is why I love making, and I believe this is why people love using my pottery. Enjoy!

These dishes are food safe, dishwasher friendly and microwavable (just be careful as microwaves make for hot pots!)

-------
© 2009 Meghan Elizabeth Pottery

It is a glimpse of abstracted nature... the life giving properties of water and the fallen leaves which have seen there day and are now enriching the soil. It is simple, yet bold, and really works well on some of the more modern designs that have popped up in my work

This bowl was thrown on the wheel and then altered to have a square bottom and top giving it a contemporary look and feel. After the shaping process the design was hand drawn and painted in cobalt blue and chocolate brown. The piece was coated in a clear glaze (less the bottom) and fired to give a shiny smooth finish.

Great serving from and for the simple act of enjoying!

Height measures about 3.5" and top measures just over 6" square.

-------

Handmade pottery goes through many stages from start to finish. This little bowl is perfect for a special dessert, or to serve olives and other condiments at your next gathering.

Creamy clay with a chocolate brown underglaze that springs up with flowers in the center. The bowl is coated in a clear glaze, however the pedestal portion has been left raw with the blue underglaze.

Most of my work is dishwasher friendly, however I would recommend hand-washing this due to the textured pedestal. Also a great centerpiece paired with floating candles.

This bowl was thrown on the wheel and then altered to have a square bottom and top giving it a contemporary look and feel. After the shaping process the design was hand drawn and painted in cobalt blue. The piece was coated in a clear glaze (less the bottom) and fired to give a shiny smooth finish.

Measures a little over 3.5" in height and 9.5" in diameter.

-------
Handmade pottery goes through many stages from start to finish. Tea, juice, wine... this set of two tumblers will help you enjoy them all in style.

This design is called "Earth Laughs in Flowers." If pottery could bloom, this is what it would look like.

Both tumblers were wheel thrown using a creamy claybody and then altered with the addition of a square bottom. After shaping the designs were hand drawn and painted in cobalt blue. The cups were coated in a clear glaze (less the bottoms) and fired to give a shiny smooth finish.

Great for all of your small drinking needs.

Each measures just over 3 inches in height and holds about 5 ounces.

-------

Handmade pottery goes through many stages from start to finish. It is a labor-intensive process that results in a unique end piece. Each pot holds in it the mark of the maker giving the user a connection to the process. This is why I love making, and I believe this is why people love using my pottery. Enjoy!

Food safe, dishwasher friendly and microwavable (just be careful as it makes for a hot pot).
The tumblers were coated in a clear glaze (less the bottoms) and fired to give a shiny smooth finish.

Great for all of your drinking needs.

Measures just around 5.25 inches in height and hold about 12 ounces each.

Sold as a set, if you would like to by just one please contact me.

-------

Handmade pottery goes through many stages from start to finish. It is a labor-intensive process that results in a unique end piece. Each pot holds in it the mark of the maker giving the user a connection to the process. This is why I love making, and I believe this is why people love using my pottery. Enjoy!

Food safe, dishwasher friendly and microwavable.

$18.00
Simple and sweet this little mug is lightweight, has a great handle, and holds just the right amount of beverage.

The design is roughly based off of a mug I had as a little kid with a bunny in the bottom. No bunny in this cup, just some scribbles, but the concept of a little surprize inside is one that I love.

This piece was made from a creamy white claybody and after the forming, the design was hand drawn and painted in black. After the first firing it was coated in a clear glaze (less the bottom) and fired to give it a shiny smooth finish.

Measures just under 4" in height, holds 8 ounces, and has a squared top and bottom.

Pair it with a teabuddy and some tea for a great gift...
www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=21188494

*Listing is for one mug, two are available please contact me if you are interested*
