The Humpback Angler (also known as the Common Blackdevil) lives as deep as 6,600 feet in the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans.

The female angler uses her glowing lure to attract prey that may even be larger then herself! The angler's body will stretch to accomodate the girth of such large prey.

Each item has an informational card attached so you can study up on your facts before you sport your item around town!

This image was hand-carved into a linoleum block and then hand-printed with a white oil based ink onto navy blue cotton fabric patch. The patch was then sewn onto the back of this dark grey sweatshirt (with the logo sewn onto the hood). Both fabric and sweatshirt are pre-washed.

This item is made to order in sizes: S, M, L. (These are men's sizes and will therefore run big for women.)

More About the Octopus:
The Blue Ringed Octopus lives in shallow waters and can be between 4 and 8 inches long. The creature inhabits tropical West Pacific and Indian oceans. To catch its prey, the octopus can either spit into the surrounding water and wait for the poison to take effect, or kill the old-fashioned way by catching, biting and injecting the prey directly.

Not only could you talk about the Octopus, but you could also talk about how this sweatshirt was made.

About this sweatshirt:
This image has been hand-carved into a linoleum block and then hand-printed onto a piece of dull yellow fabric with blue ink (these colors represent the colors of the actual octopus!) The patch is then sewn onto the back of this Navy sweatshirt (and the logo patch sewn onto the hood). All fabrics and sweatshirts pre-washed.

This item is made to order in sizes: M, L, and XL. (These are men's sizes and will therefore run a bit big when fitting for women.)

Each image is a copy of an original linoleum print. (Each image was hand-carved into the linoleum and then hand-printed and finally scanned into the computer to create this notecard!)

The cards are 4.25" by 5.5". Each card has an informational blurb on the back so one can begin to learn a few details about these creatures.

About the image:
This image was first hand-carved into a linoleum block and then hand-printed with an oil based ink onto this organic cotton tote bag.

The bags are made-to-order. The exact placing of each print will vary from bag to bag but the general idea will remain the same. Each bag is unique.

A John Dory can be up to 3ft. long and inhabits many of the world's oceans. This fish is an expert hunter. Due to it's extremely thin body, the John Dory is virtually invisible as it approaches its prey head-on! When attacking, this fish shoots out its jaws and engulfs its victim.

About the Bag:
This item has been hand-dyed a bright red color. The patch and pocket have both been hand-dyed as well a bright yellow color. These have both been sewn on with black thread. The images have been hand-carved into linoleum blocks and then hand-printed onto the fabrics with an oil based ink.

The turtle was hand-carved into a linoleum block and then hand-printed with an oil based ink onto this organic cotton tote. I then drew the added box design and wrote the turtle's scientific name, Caretta caretta, with fabric markers.
