The best little project bag imaginable. Two separate compartments, and two zippered pocket gives you plenty of room for your project and small tools or findings.

The smoky teal, mustard, sage, olive and pink are beautiful together on the black background in the classic floral needlepoint pattern. They are not faded or soiled. The soft upholstery fabric is clean and odor-free. The brown sateen interior of the bag is in excellent condition as well. It measures 12 X 12 inches and has a short 14 inch black patent leather double handle. It accordion opens to a width of 16 inches.

The overall condition of the bag is excellent, considering it's age (40+ years?). There is some minimal wear on the finish of the metal hardware, for instance.

You will not go wrong with this sweet bag. It is one of my favorite vintage accessories.

Wooden Armoury Slingshot hand carved from forest deadfall branches SECONDS SALE

These are the last two sling shots available for a reduced price due to the crack that developed as she carved wood that had not been laying on the forest floor for as long as the others. The strength should not be affected, in fact she will guarantee them, but they do have a cosmetic flaw.
She is taking $8 off the regular price for this. These are here, made and can ship priority within the day.
They are $15 EACH No others will be made until spring in the mountains- about July :)

Eliza, my woods-loving, tree climbing adventuresome teen has been making weapons, swords, daggers, letter openers, cheese knives, and now these lovely organic slingshots-
these are perfect for Christmas and birthdays for all kids,(and dads) can be used with crunched up junk mail for indoor battles for great winter day fun!

She harvest deadfallen rhododendron which has lovely branches perfect for the solid y shape, and she carves and whittles and sands til these are absolutely perfectly smooth
She carves out the groove for the rubber bands and makes an all upcycled leather pouch from which the chosen object is propelled. If you need a vegan one, she has access to pleather, faux leather, and upcycled denim and canvas.

These organic slingshots take her hours of concentration and meditation and she pours herself into these- so they are not the regular sort of basement jigsaw sort of slingshot. These are crafted in Appalachia often out by the river at a little spot we named Big Rock.

Anyway- you get the idea- they are all a little different with details, wood grain, decorative carving, and different colored leather pouches and rubber straps so convo me to see the current selection. The only common thread is that they are solid, smooth, a lot of fun, and are well loved and rubbed by everyone in the community while they are created- we all have to feel how smooth they are- every few minutes :-)

If she sells lots I think she will be convinced to start her own shop but she is struggling with dyslexia and is terrified of having to convo.... but I think she will give in shortly, so I will only be carrying these in my shop for a short time...

She can make custom weapons and sculptures from any hardwoods in our forest, walnut, oak, maple, apple, etc...
so if you have another project in mind, she has done custom orders and I guarantee my personal reputation and perfect feedback that she is meticulous.

whatever the latest thing to complain about picking up is at your house, this is the answer-

A WIN-WIN drawstring playmat- just cinch it and hang it on a hook! It is the kindest solution to everyone who is tired of the mess, but knows it is better to have the mess than a video game entertaining the kids...

After using this for a day at our house I am converted and want a dozen!

Washable, reversible and lined with a light solid color so the pieces are visible-

the bag open is about 42 inches in diameter, but that depends on the fabric that is chosen as it does vary between fabrics... closed about 12X24 but that dimension will change depending on how full it is filled. There is a little lip around the edges unless it is laboriously flattened but that is not likely. The inside is a plain color so little pieces can be easily found.

This pattern is so lovely and girly, flattering all body shapes with an A-line shape, a flat belly and gathered empire waist- you will want to wear this everywhere you go! In fact I often just wear it in the studio just to be cool.

Such great colors and coordinates, and for a little extra it can be reversible in another great selection of colors!
That is my favorite way to make them, sort of like wearing the back up plan, which is great for people who cannot make decisions!

Photos are not fabulous but the apron is- so please look with some imagination and faith :-)

Halloween Rush Fee of $30 in effect to offset help for last minute orders and increased/expedited materials costs.

The famous MAX costume from the Maurice Sendak book , "where the Wild Things Are" made from the most decadent minky sherpa that is backed in ultra suede for a warm and incredibly luxurious Max costume that mimics the movie costume quite perfectly!

Other listings offer lower priced fabrics,fleece, flannel, etc for Max costumes. This listing is specifically for sherpa kids costumes from infant to 2T. The extra cost is only due to the sherpa fabric being $29 yard now!

I am currently making my Max costumes more distinctly aligned with the movie Max costume or the book Max, but you will need to tell me which features you want. All are now one piece with the hood, paws and claws attached. Hidden front zip, pompoms down the front and a bushy bouncy tail in either gray or black.

All requests need to be made in one complete convo with measurements, fabric, and deadline, if you do not mind so I can print them and attach them to the costume as it is made as to not forget the details of each.

This little pill holder made from striped cotton holds a good handful of pills or supplements, a couple of prescription bottles or a pack of birth control pills and securely closes with Velcro all the way across the opening. It is lined and carefully constructed. Sweet and well-made from fabric that seriously looks like pharmaceutical capsules. It was meant to hold pills and nothing else :-)
I forget my pills whenever i am trying to hurry and get out the door in the morning, so if you are anything like me- it is nice to have a back up in tote.

Fits medicinal tea bags but could be used for any little items that make you happy, including your happy pills. Be creative!!!

There are quite a few substitutions in this pack now, as I have run out of some of the shown fabrics. They are still fabulous fabrics being substituted, and do not duplicate with the Second Edition fabrics if you want to get both packs...

Lot of thirteen vintage fabrics, varying in size 6-8 inches square. Clean, pressed, and ready to adorn your projects, adding personality and vintage appeal. Very popular and sought after by customers. A little vintage detail will make all the difference.

Please note: Bundles may vary. There are, however, no duplicates in each pack or between the two editions of fabrics I sell. I tried to show as many of the possibilities in the photos, but there are a variety of others, as I have acquired many new fabrics recently. If you have a favorite print, and want to be sure it is included, just convo me.

These adorable little shoes are made from 100% upcycled suede. They are lined with vintage plaid to contrast the red leather. Also available in many other colors and sizes. I currently have several colors of suede and leather, in girly and more neutral colors as well as nice vegan and natural fibers.
These ones are tiny and should fit 3-6 months. But they can be made in all infant and toddler sizes- prices will vary slightly.
We have spent great amounts of time adoring them and think you will too.

here is the crown, most are like this, although I have been making some jaggedy ones, more like the one Max wears. This one is trimmed in faux fur, has secure velcro closures and is adjustable with added sticky velcro circles that are included so you can adjust it further if needed.

THESE CROWNS ARE DESIGNED TO GRIP YOUR MAX COSTUME SO IT WILL MAKE IT LESS LIKELY TO SLIP INTO YOUR CHILD'S EYES OR FALL OFF INCESSANTLY.
