Ankh If You Love Isis

$25.00
Okay, silly joke, but this pendant is definitely anything but. I acquired a few of the loveliest lapis coins and wrapped this one with sterling silver and added a pretty little silver ankh charm. Both sides of the stone are beautiful and it can be worn with either side showing.

The pendant measures a little over 1-1/8 inch (30mm) from the top of the bail to the bottom of the decorative coil and is about 3/4 inch (20mm) wide. This pendant will be accompanied by a satin cord, or you may put it on a cord of your own choosing.

*My kitten, Ellis, decided he wanted to help model this pendant but he's a little wriggly so that pic turned out a tad blurry. Inquisitive cat is not included in this listing. :o)

**The ancient Egyptian staff sign or god staff ankh, which is also believed to be the hieroglyph used to symbolize reproduction and sexual union. According to other sources means life and zest for life. The best summary of its meaning is future life, life after death. The ankh appears frequently in Egyptian tomb paintings and other art, often at the fingertips of a god or goddess in images that represent the deities of the afterlife conferring the gift of life on the dead person's mummy. Additionally, an ankh was often carried by Egyptians as an amulet, either alone, or in connection with two other hieroglyphs that mean "strength" and "health"

***Lapis (lapis lazuli) brings truthfulness, openness, inner power, intuition, creativity, virility and manifestation. It strengthens the mind and body as well as increasing awareness and spiritual connection/evolution. It can help organize daily life as well as organizing and quieting a busy or restless mind. Lapis is also used to contact guardian spirits. Lapis also helps build self-confidence, and is a stone traditionally for royalty. Lapis bring spiritual love and is also known for enhancing love and fidelity within marriage. Lapis is also said to help one overcome shyness. It is associated with the throat and brow chakras and can help one say just the right thing, as if by magic. Lapis is also a stone that protects from both physical and psychic attacks.
I have chosen some beautiful pendants of natural stone and placed a small pentacle on the reverse side for those that wish to wear this sacred symbol in a more private manner should they so choose.

This pendant is made from a gorgeous coin of wild horse jasper. Shades of cream, mauve, brown, and black all swirl together in a harmonious pattern. This pendant measures 1-5/8 inch (4.1cm) from the top of the bail to the bottom of the decorative coil, and is nearly 1-1/4 inch (3cm) in diameter. A satin cord will accompany this pendant or you may hang it from a chain or cord of your own choosing.

**Jasper was a favorite gem in ancient times and is referenced in Greek, Hebrew, Assyrian, and Latin literature.
$20.00
This is a reversible pendant from my Stealth Pentacles™ series. I have chosen some beautiful pendants of natural stone and placed a small pentacle on the reverse side for those that wish to wear this sacred symbol in a more private manner should they so choose.

This pendant is made from an unusual shield shaped onyx stone. The pendant measures little more than 1-1/8inch (2.9cm) from the top of the closed jump ring to the bottom of the stone and is a little over 5/8 inch (1.7cm) wide. This highly polished onyx pendant has been hand-wrapped with sterling silver wire and has a 1/4 inch (1.7mm) diameter sterling silver pentacle on one side. A satin cord will accompany this pendant or you may hang it from a chain or cord of your own choosing.

**Black onyx is believed to be one of the most powerful protection stones. Its way of doing this is to absorb and transform negative energy. Because of this quality people find it helpful in relieving stress and for emotional stability. Onyx is associated primarily with the root chakra. It assists with challenges in life, especially those caused by a drain of energy. It prevents the draining away of personal energy and can be used for protection from such. It also helps with grounding and controlling or eliminating excess or unwanted energies. It has been used for wound healing, childbirth and to increase stamina and self-control.

Silver is considered a psychic metal, enhancing and empowering the psychic abilities and intuition of the bearer. It is protective, calming, and has money-drawing vibrations. This metal is associated with Lunar energies.

The Pentacle is a symbol of a star encased in a circle. Always with 5 points (one pointing upward), each has its own meaning. The upward point of the star is representative of the spirit. The other four points all represent an element; earth, air, fire, and water, as well as the directions East, South, West, North, and Within. The continuous line that forms the star speaks to the interconnectedness of all things Divine and Earthly, and reminds us to strive toward balance with all we encounter. The circle that appears around the pentacle is symbolic of unity, wholeness, the quest for Divine Knowledge, and the never-ending cycle of birth, death, and rebirth.

The Pentagram symbol has ancient roots throughout the world. In ancient Mesopotamia, 3,500 BC, the symbol was used to represent the vault of Heaven and imperial power extending to the four corners of the earth. The Druids used the symbol to represent the Godhead. The pentagram served the Pythagoreans as a symbol of health and perfection.
To the Jews, the pentagram represented the chief name of God, being inscribed on King Solomon's Ring. The Jewish pentagram also represented the first five books of Moses (the Penteauch). During the period 300-150 B.C., the ancient symbol was the official seal of the city of Jerusalem.
In early Christianity, the Pentagram was recognized as the Five wounds of Christ.

Stealth Pentacle ©2008

I still have a scorch mark on my left ear to prove it. ;0)
I have hand wrapped these charming fellows and given each one a fiery orange Royal Carnelian roundel to cavort with. The earrings have a drop of just a little less than one inch (2.4 cm) from silver plated ear wires. Please let me know if you have any metal sensitivities that would prevent you from wearing these and we will find some that are right for you.
**The photos shown are of the first pair of these little guys that I made and the pictures came out so good I decided to re-use them. The dragons in your pair will be identical, but please allow for variation in the shape of the carnelian roundels. The drop of these earrings is about 1 inch (2.6cm) from silver plated ear wires.
Hey, by two pair and you can wear them as a set of moons or stars too. :0)

**Moonstone is a stone of new beginnings. Like the moon, this stone is reflective and reminds us that just as the moon waxes and wanes, so everything is a part of a cycle of change. This stone makes conscious the unconscious and promotes intuition and empathy. Moonstone brings confidence and calms the emotions, easing an understanding of spirituality and clairvoyance. Moonstone is a very personal stone. It is a reflection of the person who owns it. It does not add or detract, only shows how it is. This is why the moonstone is said to perceive that which "is". Grey moonstone helps to accept other stones’ powers by cleansing blocks

Reversible Kambaba Jasper Stealth Pentacle Pendant

$25.00
This is a reversible pendant from my series of pieces, which I lovingly refer to as my Stealth Pentacles™. I have chosen some beautiful pendants of natural stone and placed a small pentacle on the reverse side for those that wish to wear this sacred symbol in a more private manner should they so choose.

This little pendant is about 1-1/16 inch (27mm) from the top of the bail to the bottom of the decorative coil and is 5/8 inch (11mm) wide. This lovely piece of Kambaba jasper with gorgeous shades of swirling green has been hand-wrapped with sterling silver wire and has a 1/4 inch (7mm) diameter sterling silver pentacle on one side. A satin cord will accompany this pendant or you may hang it from a chain or cord of your own choosing. *Please allow for variations in the pattern of colors on the stone. Each one has it's own unique personality. See the last picture for an example of the wonderful variety of patterns.

**Kambaba Jasper stabilises our emotions and soothes our nerves and our state of mind. It provides grounding and protection and reduces our fears and our insecurities. This stone seems to generate an ancient and earthy energy, which assists us in relaxing and finding a sense of balance. Kambaba Jasper helps us to spiritually re-connect with the Earth's energies and the rhythms of the Earth, helping us to rediscover our personal roots so that we can once again be brought back into balance with the Earth’s natural rhythms and cycles. It helps us to hear the voice of nature when it speaks to us.

***The Pentacle is a symbol of a star encased in a circle.
