This fabulous hand bag was brought back from Mexico, probably in the 1950s or 1960s, by my great aunt. On the front, is a depiction of a matador and bull during a bullfight. They are flanked by flowers and surrounded by an Aztec design. On the back, the Aztec calendar appears flanked by cactii and surrounded by the same Aztec design. The purse closes with a brass twist latch. There are four brass studs on the bottom to lift the leather from the floor, counter, or whatever the purse is sitting on. There are three compartments. All compartments have a pocket. The pockets in the front and back compartments are zippered. The middle compartment zippers shut completely. This purse features great craftsmanship! In my research, the black leather is a rare find for this type of purse. In addition, the bullfighter motif is an unusual style as well. This would be a fantastic addition to any fun, colorful wardrobe with an international flair! It even has its original tag inside!

Purse has a few minor scuffs on front and back. The bottom has a couple small tears. These are visible on the photos. Bag is approx 9 inches tall, 12.5 inches long, and 3 inches wide.

These earrings are, in fact, a reproduction of the MRI of my head. Yes, you read that correctly-my very own head. The reason I used my head is because 1) I needed to get the MRI anyway and 2) in accordance with law, I have my own permission to use them. I pleased to say they are normal. Now, while my brain may be physically normal, one may question my mental health given that I thought it was a good idea to sell earrings with my MRI printed on them...but that's neither here nor there. I printed the image on shrink plastic and baked it. The are approx 1 1/4 by 1 1/2 inches. Due to the baking process, they are not completely flat. While a little dark when up against a dark background, they look magnificent when the light shows through them! Great gift for a neurologist!

This piece of history is a hand embroidered scarf from Korea acquired during the Korean War. It was likely purchased by a young solider for his mother, sister, or significant other. It's a bright, lovely yellow with grass green fringe. "Seoul Korea" and "1951" are stitched on as well as a map with popular destinations identified. This is definitely a relic, from an important part of history, in accessory form.

This scarf is approx 35 inches long and 5.5 inches wide. It needs to be flattened but, because I do not know the best way to do this with antique silk, I'm going to leave that up to the future owner.

I have tried and better tried (to borrow a phrase from my husband) to find information on this little guy, but haven't been able to find anything. I found him at an antique mall here in Columbus, Ohio. He's dressed like a middle eastern guard or soldier and is smoking from a hookah. These "smokers" are sold as incense burners, but, I think, they're generally used as a decorative piece more than a functional piece.

Piece is approx 8 inches tall. It appears that there was a sticker on the bottom at one time, but whatever was there is gone now.

This beautiful pendant features an antique key that has a handle that reminds me of a cloud. This fabulous key has a gorgeous teardrop/heart larvikite (spectrolite) bead linked to it. The the top, the key is linked to a horseshoe-shaped sterling silver wirewrapped piece with a carnelian round attached at the top. Also dangling from the sterling silver horseshoe is a brilliant orange spessotite pear briolette that glistens like a drop of honey. There are two loops behind the carnelian that provide a way to anchor the pendant to a chain or other type of necklace either directly or with jumprings. I absolutely loved these buttons the minute I saw them, so I fashioned them into earrings. These stunning earrings appear to glow from within. They radiate a gorgeous wine with black scrolling adorning the surface. They would be great as everyday earrings or accessories for something elegant.

Found in a antique mall in Columbus, Ohio, this lovely necklace features white trumpet flowers with gold details. The petals are made from acrylic while the gold stamen and chain are goldtone metal. Each flower hangs from its own gold chain that dangles from a golden ball. Above the ball is the neck chain. The chain is approx 20 inches long. This is such a timeless piece!

These horrorific earrings feature fun ceramic grim reaper which are not just for Halloween! The grim reaper beads hang from a eyepin supported by two spacer bars that meet at the top of the earrings. Gray pearlized beads and dusty purple glass disks are inside the spacer bars. Outside the spacer bars are ridged antique gold-toned round. Toward the top sits a single purple swarovski crystal bicone bead and two black and white seed beads. These fantastic and macabre earrings are approx 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) long.
