This hand-veneered armoire was inspired by deco pieces of the early 20th century. It features adjustable glass shelves above, and adjustable mahogany shelves below. Each of the four doors has a special bi-fold hinge, allowing them to be swung entirely away from the face of the cabinet creating a display case. Interior halogen lights are controlled by a small dimmer plate on the inside of the cabinet.

This piece is 8 feet high, 5 feet wide, and 24 inches deep when close. When the doors are open, it is close to 8 feet wide.

This "Z-table" is crafted entirely from solid wood, with the top and base made from a single board. Each piece shows off the unique grain patterns of the tree from which it came. Some have knots and sapwood, in the tradition of Nakashima, and help to show the tree from which it came. The legs are solid, laminate-bent Ash.

Because of the design, this piece has some "give" or "spring" to it - it's strong and stable, but bends and flexes with weight, making the piece an organic whole.

This table is 48" long, 9" wide, and 36" high. It is available as shown, in Padauk, as well as American Black Cherry.

I particularly enjoy work that "challenges gravity", and that uses unique construction to accomplish conventional goals. This table combines elements of the classic trestle bridge with Japanese-inspired legs. The top is solid American Black Cherry, with solid "ebonized" Walnut legs and central supports that come through the tabletop. The laminate bent arch is solid Maple. Each piece is hand made and signed underneath.

This table is 24" wide, and 17" high at the table top. It is available in both 48" and 55" lengths - this listing is for the 48" table. The 55" table is $100 more.

Shipping and Handling includes the cost of a plywood crate, and shipping is UPS Ground.
