This sweet slip or slip dress (you decide)is a lovely salmon pink color. The tiny straps are adjustable and fully operational! The ruffle at the bottom is 5" wide. The only flaws I could find were 2 tiny holes, one hidden in the ruffle and one low down on the front. The fabric is otherwise quite strong. This one is quite old, I'm guessing late 30's or early 40's - but I'm not an expert on the matter.

Up for grabs in Auntie's shop is this rare beauty! A fabulous emerald green gown from I Magnin. Such a timeless design with it's 3/4 length sleeves, empire waist and pleated back. It hangs longer in back making a small train.
Back zipper with hook and eye closure, zipper works great, original belt with a lovely back bow that is attached.

This dress is in near perfect condition, I can find no stains, There is some very light wear in the underarm area, but this is small and not noticeable. The fabric is a heavy satin, there is no lining or underskirt. The tag reads I Magnin, no content or size labels.

Approximate measurements are:

Bust: 33-34"
Waist: 26-27"
Hips: Very Full, skirt is pleated in back.

Pink Wrap Dress 1930s 1940s Filmland Creation

Is there a more flattering design than the wrap dress? This one is exceptional in style and condition. The tag reads Filmland Creation Copyright 1935. The fabric appears to be a heavy rayon, the color is a striking mauvy-pink.

The collar and large triangular pocket are adorned with topstitching. The original belt is in good condition on the fabric portion, the back had some sort of vinyl covering that is dry and cracking, but cannot be seen when secured.

Flattering 3/4 length sleeves, shoulder pads and a full swingy skirt finish off this lovely frock.

I can find very little wrong with this garment other than the belt back. It could use a trip to the cleaners I think, but I'll leave that up to the new owner.

This lovely little blue frock has no tags and could very well be hand made.

The fabric appears to be a nice swingy rayon in sky blue. The neckline, sleeves and drop waist are adorned with dainty lace. The side zipper is in fine working order. I can find very little wrong with this dress, there is one tiny stain on the front that is barely visible and may very well wash out.

How cute and jazzie is this little swing jacket from the 40's? In quite good condition for it's age, I just love the pleated back and ease of fit.

This jacket was meant to be worn open as there are no buttons. There is a cute pleat on the back and large cuffs on the sleeves.

There is some light fading on the inside of the collar area, but this is minor. Nothing else is really wrong with this cutie.

This cute glass cream and sugar set nest for easy storage. They are in very good condition with just one tiny flea bite on the bottom of the creamer and some light scratching on the bottoms from normal use.

There appears to be a slight smokey cast to the glass from age. They could be crystal, the star appears to be cut into the bottom and not pressed.

Approximately 3 1/2" tall (stacked) and 3" in diameter. This set is quite old, it comes from an estate in Valley Stream Long Island, NY.

The tag reads size medium, 60% acrylic, 24% cotton, 15% nylon, 1% other fiver (yes fiver, there is typo, or it could be lost in translation), made in Korea. Hand wash.

The first snow has fallen in Aunties neck of the woods and it was a rude reminder of the bitter cold that is right around the corner. But you can be ready for winter by cozying up in this adorable sweater.

Made from 80% lambs wool and 20% nylon. There is no size tag, but I would say it is a medium, it measures the same from bust to hips (36"), the sleeves are 21" long and the overall length is 23". In very good condition, there is slight bleeding of the red color but otherwise perfect. There is also a light perfume aroma.

This dress has been aging in my closet since the early 80's and was never worn. The content tag is missing but I believe it's 100% rayon.

The very forgiving wrap style has come back into fashion. The large collar is embellished with Aztec-like motifs. There are large shoulder pads that are stitched in and would be very easy to remove. The white fabric covered buttons have the same type of designs as the collar, only one of them bottons, the rest go off at and angle. The front has a hidden placket with clear buttons.

Vintage Beadwork Bodice

Up for your consideration is this incredible half bodice piece. Made with all glass black beads sewn on to black mesh in a chevron pattern. In very good strong condition with some missing beads around the raw edges and ocaasionally within the piece. There is a seam that runs under the arm all the way to the bottom that could be undone to make this into one large flat piece. It measures in at approximately 17" from top to bottom and 16" across the top.

I wish I could capture the beauty of the item in the photo's, I took a jillion and just could not make it happen.

Flaunt your naughty school girl side in this vintage pleated skirt. I am no textile expert, but this appears to wool or a wool blend and hand made (there are no tags). Probably a size large with an elastic waist that could easily be taken in, 29" length. Pastel pink, lavender, yellow, green and blue with a grey stripe. This is a huge roll of vintage ribbon that consists of 5 narrow red ribbons woven through gold mesh. There is no measurement on the label and we did not unroll it, but there has to be at least 50 ft of ribbon, probably more. It is 1 1/2" wide and the roll itself, as you can see in the last photo is about 7" across. Made by Offray.

What this material was originally intended for is beyond me, perhaps someone out in Etsy land knows.

It is a sisal-like woven thread with a very open weave. There are 2 pieces, one is 6 yards and the other is nearly a yard, it is 3/4" wide. The width varies slightly, there was one tiny brown spot and a couple of small worn areas, but other than that it's in good shape.

Vintage White Mountain Ski Suit - Great Steampunk Attire

I purchased this fabulous ski suit in the 80's and it was vintage then, I believe it's from the early 40's.

The fabric is in good strong shape and all of zippers work, no buttons are missing. There are some small stains on the jacket and it is a little grungy all over, I have made no attempt to clean it as I do not know the fabric content, I'll leave that up to the new owner.

The jacket is fully reversible and is a canvassy type fabric, army green on one side and tan on the other.

The pants are fully lined but not reversible, they have a side zipper, side slash pockets that zip closed and a buckle on each side that allows the wearer to cinch in the waist. The elastic stirrups are totally stretched out and somewhat useless, an easy thing to replace.

Measurements are approximately:

Jacket:
Bust: 34-36
Waist: 30"
Length: 22"
sleeve Length: 24"

Pants:
Waist: 30" can be cinched in about 2" on each side

Penned in 1903 bt John Jay Knox, this book is in quite amazing condition for it's age. The spine has slight damage, but the contents are very good and there is no musty odor.

Chock full of 10, 9.25X6" portrait plates of famous names in banking including Alexander Hamilton and Salmon P. Chase. Every plate is in excellent condition and still has the tissue paper covering that includes a short bio. A great find for the collector or collage artist!

If you are looking for a great set of perfect condition vintage encyclopedias - THIS IS NOT IT! It is however a great messed up set chock full of pages for atlered art and collage.

Each book has 1 (approximately 5x7") full color plate the front, they include the Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls frozen in winter, the Sacred Tank of Alwar, the Island of Philae and the Jungfrau. The inner pages include several maps in black and white print.

The spines of these books are disintegrating but the pages are still strong, there is yellowing, not uncommon in books that are 86 years old.

Your lad will look so dapper in this tweed ensemble. There are no tags and this appears to be a hand made set. The coat is double breasted and lined in white flannel, there are 2 front pockets and snap closures. The waist measures about 26", length is 13 1/2" and the sleeves are 13 1/2".

The cap is lined in white cotton and Chris Bowers is written on it. Chris B. is embroidered on the jacket lining.

Both are in very good condidition for the age with just a little discoloring on the linings.

Vintage Chiffon and Velvet Fabric - Incredible Find

This is a super find! I am not certain of the age or content, but this is at least mid-century fabric probably older. The textures are so unusual, the filmy peach background is some sort of chiffon but heavier. The fur like peachy velvet waves lie flat, the longer black velvet stands out straight and has some kind of stiffer shiny fibers in it. I see a terrific flapper dress or scarves or a floaty top made from this. The color is a darker peach, not as pink as it looks in some of the photo's. The lampshade is closer to the actual color.

The piece is 38" wide, with the pattern starting 1" in from the selvage. There is one generous yard in this listing. The fabric is unused new old stock with plenty of strength.

I am no expert, but I think this might be a silk blend. Need a swatch? I'd be happy to send one, just shoot me a convo. Need additional yardage? Just let me know, I have more.

These are a great find for the ephemera collector. This listing contains 15 blank stock certificates with one end that is perforated and tears off. Printed in gold and black on the front and green on the back, there is a water mark that is partially cut off, what can be seen reads HAZELBO and rag content.

Some of the corners are only slightly wrinkled - not creased, in otherwise great condition. Each certificate measures 5 3/4" X 15".

This gorgeous dress is from the early 80's but is based on the designs of a much earlier era.

Designed by Jane Singer, the fabric is the softest flowing rayon black and white houndstooth. The neckline and waist are embellished with embroidered scrollwork. There is a back zipper and buttons. This garment is like new and has barely been worn. I purchased it for myself and only wore it a few times, it has been aging gracefully in my closet since then. The last photo is myself wearing the dress in the 80's, I'm with my best friend and her sister having high tea in Victoria BC.

This sweet little hat looks like it was rarely worn if at all. Orange/red strawlike material makes up the body, it is covered with a mesh and embellished with the cutest poppy or heart made from velvet, a pearl and rhinestones, there is also millinery netting. A small velvet bow with a tiny pearl and rhinestone opposite the flower is the finishing touch. There are 2 little velvet covered wire side clips to help hold it on and a pearl hat pin is included.

I'm sure all of the pearls are faux. There is no label, but it is probably a medium size.

A very sweet lusterware dish that would look just right on a dresser holding dainty jewelry.

The mark is very smeared, so it's difficult to tell the maker, it could be Noritake.

It is very lustery inside and out with the exception of the little handles, they are matte black and orange-red.

The Rosemeade Pottery Company of Wahpeton North Dakota was in operation from 1940 to 1961. They produced only 4 styles of cactus salt and pepper shakers and these highly collectible "Devil's Fingers" are the most coveted of them all.

Standing just under 2 1/2" tall, this pair is in excellent condition. The foil label is still attached to one shaker but is slightly damaged. They have the original corks and appear to have never been used.

Rumford Dainties and household Helps - a must for every modern kitchen!

This small booklet was published by the Rumford Baking Powder Company, I cannot find a date, but presume it is from the 1930's or 40's. It is chock full of wonderful recipes such as prune pie and everday chocolate cake. 64 pages in all. About 4 1/2 X 7". Fair condition for it's age, the pages are darkened from age and slightly fragile. Somewhere along the way a hole was punched through so it could be hung with a ribbon.

Lovely lace collar with a label that reads "Teena Brown". The collar is 5" wide and about 15 1/2 across. The neck band has some slight yellowing and there is small stain on the lace that is very hard to detect, otherwise in excellent condition. I did not attemp to launder, so the stain might come out easily.

Sold as found at an estate sale.

Although my home is smoke free, I cannot guarantee that the vintage items I offer have come from a smoke free environment. I share my home with two small dogs (and one slightly hairy husband).

This lovely necklace in shades of purple was hand made many years ago by a dear friend. There are 11 strands of lightly twisted beads in various shades:

What could be more iconic than a vintage Kodak camera? The Hawkeye Instamatic R4 was first introduced in 1966 and produced until 1971, making this camera 38 - 43 years old.

This green instamatic was a premium or "giveaway" camera and was not available for retail sale. It uses a flash cube, 2 AAA batteries and cartridge film.

Does not include the manual, but it can be easily downloaded for free, just search for Kodak instamatic R4.

The camera exterior is in excellent condition, in fact it looks like it was never used, the case is close to flawless. I have no way of telling if it works though. Working or not, it would make an excellent addition to your collection.

Vintage Faux Fur Shrug - a Little Messed Up

Shrugs seem to be all the rage this season, so why not own a classic?

This shrug seems to be hand made as there are no tags, size is medium to large. 3/4 length sleeves, 2 buttons covered in the same fabic as the coat and three snaps.

There are a few tiny holes and worn spots that are difficult to see, a light stain on the front that may come out and some of the fur is thin, but on the whole it is in pretty good condition for it's age. Made of some sort of white faux fur with black fringe edging the collar. Fully lined with a very nice detail as you can see in the photo. Great for repurposing.

This dress is absolutely fabulous! 100% silk fabric in an incredible tropical fruit and floral print, fully lined in gold, invisible zipper. This dress was only worn 1 or 2 times and is like new, it looks great belted. Size 14 with approximate measurements of:

Here is classic that will add charm to any bar. This baby is for looks only though as I cannot get the pump to work. Perhaps a clever person can repair it. It's been hiding in the back of my china hutch for last 30 years and is just taking up too much room.

The six glasses are in excellent condition, one of the colored rings has slipped however, making one of the blue glasses sit a bit lower. There are 2 of each color red, blue and green. They nest on a chrome ring that slips over the top of the bottle.

Here is a very nice vintage dress in perfect condition. 50% rayon, 50% polyester, it is a lightweight very soft fabric, this cut is very flattering to any body type. There are 4 buttons on one side that can be opened to create a slit and 6 buttons on the cowl-like collar that can be opened as well. The belt does not come with it, I just wanted to show how looked belted.

There is no size tag, but it seem to be a medium but very giving due to the cut.

Incredible, that is how I must describe this masterful work. Intricately hand crocheted, I believe this was intended to be used as an edging for a small tablecloth. As you can see in the photographs, the complicated pattern has portions that are woven in a crisscross. There is no seam, this was made in one continuous piece, amazing!

I am not sure of the age, but I bought it from a woman in her 70's who said her mother-in-law had made it many years ago.

Taupe color, the inner diameter is 29" and it is 6" at the widest part, excellent condition.

McCoy Basket With Pine Cones Cookie Jar

This lovely cookie jar came to light in 1957 and is in quite good condition for it's age - one year younger than Auntie!

The intricate basketweave jar still has some of the original dark glaze, but much has worn off. There are no chips or cracks, there is beautiful uneven crazing inside and outside the jar.

The lid is slightly ill fitting, which I believe is quite common for these old jars. The pinecone decoration is in very good condition, there is a tiny flake on the very tip of the pine needles, but it looks more like a manufacturing flaw and is nearly impossible to see.

This is jar #133 with mark #3 (from McCoy web site).

Vintage Porcelain Lamp Made in Germany

Here is an adorable cherubic figurine lamp that was made in Germany. She stands 6" tall, the entire lamp is 10" tall. There are two flaws that keep her from being perfect, these can be seen the close up pictures. The handle is broken off her basket and there is damage to her hand. But she is an adorable angel even with these flaws. The number 3438 is on the bottom along with the word Germany and a small glazed on number 24.

If you are a belly dancer, this is the set for you. Exotic silver and beaded set is studded with turquoise colored inset beads. I don't think it's real silver, but very cool! The necklace is 14" long and 2" wide. It has dangles and turquoise colored insets. The earrings are 2 3/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. The dangles on them match the necklace. They also have burnt orange colored beads. The necklace is very light weight, the earrings are a heavier metal. Purchased at a trendy shop in Spokane in the early '70's called La Chapina. If you were into the hippie scene in Spokane, you will remember this shop! Shipping is priority and includes insurance.

This is a great find for the military collector. Wool khaki civil air patrol uniform by Fischbein Brothers of El Paso Texas in fair condition. The patches and pin alone make this uniform highly collectible or a great choice for a halloween costume!

Two patches on the shirt are in excellent condition, the metal CAP pin is like new.

Now let me addess the condition: both the shirt and pants have a few small holes that are not too noticeable. The shirt has perspiration stains, a good dry cleaner may be able to get them out.

How perfect would this adorable wall pocket look in the vintage nursery?

So often you will find a cute set of boudoir lamps but the shades are ruined. Here is the perfect replacement pair!

These darlings measure approximately 9.5" tall and 6-7" wide, they have a slight taper. One is perfect, the other has very minor damage at the seam, this would be the back of the shade that would not show anyway. It is very minor and hardly noticeable.

Made of what appears to be a plastic material covered in an eyelet type fabric. The top and bottom edges are embellished with frilly ruffles made with an off white mesh.

Here is a great pair of old fox fur stoles with interesting details.

They are attached near the head and each fox has glass eyes, legs with the toenails still attached and a fluffy tail. They are not perfect, but in pretty good shape for the age. There are just some small fuzzy spots where the fur looks like it was rubbed, there are not very noticeable.

What an unusual pair of art deco pink, white and black vases for your collection. These are unmarked, but could be McCoy or Shawnee. The round one is in excellent condition with only light crazing and some stains from use on the inside. The oval one has some very light cracking on the rim which I have tried to show in the photographs. These are tiny hairline fractures that are only noticeable upon close inspection.

The round vase measures 4 3/4" tall and 4 3/4" wide, the oval is 4" high and 7 1/2" wide.

This is a large floral case measuring 12" wide 10" deep and 6" high - it's chock full of vintage goodies including:

Float like butterfly (and sting like a bee)in this original 1969 Gunne Sax by Jessica McClintock. It still has the coveted black label inside which according to my research was only used in 1969.

This gorgeous dress was purchased and lightly worn in the early 1970's by Conelda, Auntie's older sister.

Made of a soft and gauze-like floral print with a color scheme of purple, sage green and off white with gold accents and lots of lace. Perfect for a renaissance fair, summer wedding, costume or everyday.

Cool pajamas for a cool dude, perfect for summer lounging. I don't think they were ever taken out of the package or worn.

Lightweight seersucker in cotton poly blend, short sleeves and long legs! I love the color scheme of aqua and peach and the geometric pattern they are just so 50's.

I did remove them from the package for inspection and could find only one small mark on the pants that looks like an age spot, the fabric is still plenty strong. Button front top and elastic with snaps fly on the pants. Size 38-40.
