Teal Folded Porcelain Handkerchief Vase

I see my folded porcelain forms as freezing a moment of fluidity. Each piece involves rolling out thin sheets of porcelain, coaxing the the clay into soft folds until it looks like a graceful handkerchief, and tending the work through weeks of careful drying, burnishing, and carving. The last steps of glazing and firing finally yield the finished vase.
You'll really love the ease of arranging flowers in my vases- the folds catch the stems and create a lovely floral display almost automatically.
The vase is sturdier than you might imagine and may be cleaned in a dishwasher, or by soaking in a mild bleach solution or even a denture cleaning solution.

This vase is glazed in a rich teal blue-green glaze (or one might call it a forest green) and is about 4.5 inches tall and 5 inches across.

My porcelain vase is a perfect wedding gift- classic in form, lovely in any decor, and sure to be treasured for generations.

Blue Rimmed Porcelain Petal Salad or Cereal bowl

Created by hand from thin slabs of porcelain, this bowl is a beauty! It is has a lovely scalloped edge that is trimmed in a pale aqua blue, and the edge is accented with small porcelain "buttons" that are glazed pink with a tiny red center. Celtic spirals flow from deep amethyst hearts at the base. I form the bowl from 4 heart-shaped slabs, so it can be a subtle "I love you" gift. The bowl has nice dimensional detailing where the hearts are joined.
I have two of these, so let me know if you want me to make a reserve listing for you that includes the other one as well.
At 2.25 inches by 7.25 inches, the bowl is a nice size for salad, soup, cereal, or ice cream. When I want to put out a dip or a special sauce (apple or cranberry, for instance), I find that one of these bowls is a great choice.

My porcelain vase is a perfect wedding gift- classic in form, lovely in any decor, and sure to be treasured for generations.

Everyone enjoys the ease of arranging flowers in my vase -- the folds catch the stems and create a lovely floral display almost automatically.

It is about 6 inches in height and about the same in width at the top. It is a perfect size for most garden blooms. I make each one individually, so each has its own shape and grace. I also make the vase in a larger size, so just convo me if you would like something to hold even longer stems, such as you might get from a grocery or a florist.

Any gardener, or anyone who loves the beauty of flowers, will treasure this gift!

What a lovely gift for a teacher, a special friend, or a treat for yourself. Or how about for someone who is always "busy as a bee"? When you use this bowl, you just have to smile as you uncover the saucy little bees who buzz across the inside!

At about 6 inches in diameter and 1.75 inches high, the bowl is a good size for morning Cheerios, some yogurt (with a dash of honey, of course), or a yummy dessert like rice pudding or an ice cream sundae. The form is hand-built, so there is a soft undulation in the rim. I have several Bee Bowls in my Etsy shop. If you want to make a set of them, just use that blue "contact" choice on the right and I'll figure out the shipping, which is sure to be less than you expect!

I find that when I have a beautiful bowl on the tabletop or counter, I find many uses for it- sauces, candy, condiments, vitamins, soap, rings, berries.

The porcelain is glazed in a pearly white and the bees are little yellow guys with attitude, black details and pink wings. I added stripes of honey yellow and black around the rim for a little extra pizazz.

Now here's a perfect hostess or teacher gift. You just can't resist cradling it in the palm of your hand to savor all of the intricacies that make this diminutive vase a treasure!

Five detailed, dimensional petals surround the form and they are glazed in a shade of aqua and chartreuse with pink and scarlet detail. This vase is great for a little bouquet of brightness on a windowsill or a small table. A customer told me that it would be a great Mama Vase- the right size for those bouquets of dandelions picked by tiny hands.

Hand-built from thin slabs of porcelain, my 3 sided bowls have a saucy attitude. Each one rests on 3 feet and I like to think that at night they can wake up to tippy toe over to a comfortable spot on the counter top!

Red Rimmed Porcelain Petal Salad or Cereal Bowl

Created by hand from thin slabs of porcelain, this bowl is such a fun piece! It is has a lovely scalloped edge that is trimmed in poppy red, and the edge is accented with small porcelain "buttons" that are glazed turquoise with a tiny purple center. Celtic spirals flow from round turquoise spot at the base. I form the bowl from 4 heart-shaped slabs, so it can be a subtle "I love you" gift. The bowl has nice dimensional detailing where the hearts are joined.
I have four of these, so let me know if you want me to make a reserve listing for you that includes some of the other ones as well.
At 2.25 inches by 7.25 inches, the bowl is a nice size for salad, soup, cereal, or ice cream. When I want to put out a dip or a special sauce (apple or cranberry, for instance), I find that one of these bowls is a great choice.
Porcelain is a vitrified clay body, and thus, is very sturdy. It is dishwasher and food-safe. This elegant bowl will be enjoyed by generations to come, and treasured for its beauty and unique design.

Turquoise Tulip Shaped Porcelain Vase, Candleholder

This piece is like a precious jewel, glazed in many soft shades of turquoise, green and aqua. At 3.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter, the rounded form is a pleasure to hold and to display in your home. You can use the vessel as a candleholder or as a vase for specimen flowers.

I especially like the many rounded feet at the base of each leaf form on the vessel.It has a lively, saucy air, and would be a perfect gift for a gardener that you know!

Colorful Petite Lidded Porcelain Vessel

When you fondle this little vessel, you'll see how much I like to add detail to my porcelain pieces. The fluted pyramidal body has a collar of teeny pink flowers with lavender centers on an aqua background. The lid is a a soft aqua and sky blue flower with a yellow center, and when you use the vessel as a vase, the lid is an intriguing ornament to place nearby.

Not only can you use this as a vase, but it also makes a nice, stable candle holder. So, how about that! You have a vessel (maybe for your morning vitamins), a vase, and a candle holder all in one!

Lily Petal Porcelain Vase and Candle Holder

This piece is a little less embellished than many of my pots, but I like the simple elegance of it. Three peachy-pink lily petals curve around a triple lobed form in a pearly white glaze. Each petal has a yellow accent and the rim is decorated in the same yellow.

The form is 3.75 inches tall at the tip of the petals and about 2.5 inches across. It is a perfect size for a miniature flower bouquet, or even for a candle taper with few flowers around it.

Porcelain Lily Pad Plate

How lovely is this?!?!? I wanted to make something to use as a platform for my Tiny Treasures, and decided that a lily pad would be perfect- a nice texture, great color, and a practical rim.

Well, now I'm thinking that the lily pad stands on its own just fine- what a nice plate for your lunchtime sandwich, or for dessert, or for serving a special piece of cheese.

The plate is hand built of porcelain and is about 5 inches in diameter. I carefully pinched my way around the rim to imitate the structure of a lily pad. Then I spotted a peach pit that I had been saving because of its great texture, and that became the perfect tool to create a textural spiral around the inside of the plate.

I glazed the interior in several shades of turquoise, chartreuse, leafy green and pale aqua, and colored the outer edge with a peachy-pink and lemon yellow. A pearly white glaze over all gives the piece a nice satiny finish.

Playful Sculptural Porcelain Vase and Candle Holder

Yikes! How do I describe this one? There's the vision of a graceful dancer, as seen in the swirling pearly white "skirt", and there's the image of a classic Doric column in the lovely leaves circling the rim of this diminutive porcelain vase.

Altogether, it's a totally charming piece, with many details, just begging to be explored. It is about 3 inches in diameter and stands a little over 2 inches tall.

The leaves are several shades of turquoise, green, teal and chartreuse, with accents of pink and a teeny splash of red. The rim of the vase has tiny dots in matching colors, and because of its careful decoration, this piece can be left empty as enjoyed as a tabletop sculpture. Or, if you wish, a taper can fit right in there and Voila!, you have a candle holder!

Elegant Little Leafy Porcelain Vase

This beauty was the result of some very late-night playtime in the porcelain. I've been enjoying the curve and form of lilies in my garden and wanted to capture that elegance in porcelain.

The leaves at each of the four corners are incised with veins and I was delighted when I coaxed them into that voluptuous curve. ooh, la la!

The piece stands almost 4 inches tall and is 3 inches across. Perfect for a diminutive flower bouquet. I made the opening at the top rather small so that the flowers will stand up nicely.

The vase is glazed in a pearly white and the leaves are lovely shades of aqua, light teal and chartreuse. Since I like a little surprise in my work, the inner surface of the leaves is a saucy chartreuse with a rim of fuchsia!

I'm thinking that this piece has such a gorgeous form, you might not even need to put flowers into it- just think of it as a tabletop sculpture!

Lobed Petal Porcelain Vase

Isn't this a glorious shape? I made a bunch of porcelain "petals", complete with the detailed veins, and circled the lobed vase. Then I added porcelain buttons as a small surprise around the bottom edge.

Not only is the vase beautiful in profile, but when you look at the rim from above, you see the 6 lobes that make a flower form even from that angle. A nice bonus is that the curves cup the stems and help you to make a lovely floral arrangement in this unique vase.

The piece is about 2.75 inches in diameter and 4.5 inches tall. The petals are several shades of pink, peach and soft yellow. The rim picks up that yellow and is accented with tiny dots of fuchsia. The bottom button are a pale aqua with a tiny red center.

You can put a small bouquet in this porcelain piece, or you can enjoy its form without any flowers- it has plenty of sculptural interest!

Teensy Fluted Porcelain Vase

When one of my collectors saw this piece, she called it a "confection!"

The fluted porcelain form is covered in a pearly white glaze with a pale aqua stripe in each flute The jaunty flowing lid is a multi-petaled flower of peachy pink with a tiny aqua and yellow flower at the center.

At 2 inches in diameter and 2.75 inches tall, this jewel of a vessel is perfect for intimate spaces. You can enjoy it as a small sculpture, or as a vase or even, as a candleholder, as pictured. The opening is small, but that wouldn't keep a serious chocolate lover from storing a few emergency M&Ms inside!

Pagoda Shaped Porcelain Vessel

This little pot makes me smile! It has a saucy pink flower shaped lid and a fluted pyramidal form that is reminiscent of a pagoda.

I see this vessel as a vase when filled with delicate flowers, a candle holder, or as a small box for a treasure....maybe for M&Ms or those pastel candied almonds.

It is small enough to cradle in the palm of your hand, and lovely enough to sit on your table or desk as a tiny sculpture. The base is about 3 inches square and it is just under 3 inches tall.

The porcelain is glazed in a pearly white with decorations of soft pink, aqua and the tiniest dab of fuchsia on the band just above the shoulder of the form.

Tiny Porcelain Lidded Vase on a Leaf

Isn't this piece just perfectly charming? It makes me think of the Lady of the Lake, floating along while she trails her hand in the water.

This form is small enough to cradle in your hand at 2.5 inches tall. The vase is attached to a porcelain leaf that is is 3 inches long and is glazed in multiple soft shade of green and chartreuse.

I'm never one to resist the urge to add more detail, so there are alternating tiny pink and fuchsia dots around the edge of the leaf. The fluted round form is glazed in a pearly white with a soft fuchsia rim, and capped with a flower-shaped lid that is glazed in sky blue with details of pink, chartreuse, and little dots of red.

I love to have flowers around the house and with its diminutive form, this piece can fit in your powder room, on a ledge in the kitchen, or on a corner of your desk. And as you can see, it is a beauty, and doesn't even need flowers to be a visual delight.
