Introducing the Moleskine Volant. I've hand stitched an Art Nouveau flower on this adorable, extra small, lined, dark pink Moleskine. It's 2.5"x4", and it is just the cutest little thing you've ever seen! Unlike the cahier notebooks, the Volant has a glossy, faux leather finish that gives it a very glamorous look. Although this isn't my normal stitch work, it was still fun to make! This is based on the Three Little Kittens that lost their mittens, but I hate that part. Who wants a pillow with a bunch of sad, hungry, mittenless kittens?

This cute pillow is about 15" square, and is cotton. The inside is some type of fluffer fill. If you would like to have just the pillow case, I will reduce the shipping.

This large Moleskine Cahier notebook is 5.25" x 8.25" with 80 plain pages, of which the last 16 are detachable. I have hand stitched this adorable little painter I found in a vintage 1950's coloring book on the cover using embroidery floss. I have covered the back of the cover with a piece of cardstock so the back stitching is not seen. There is a pocket in the back to collect all those little tidbits you collect while journaling and sketching.

This would be a perfect gift for the artist on the go, that likes to sketch out his or her ideas when the inspiration strikes. The Moleskine is known worldwide for the slim profile, which makes it convienent for carrying in a purse, backpack, or pocket.

This is a super cute little hoodie from Delia's that I have hand stitched a mean little bad on one side. It has the cutest (yet coolest)hood with white accents. Although this bat doesn't have any fancy stitches, he is still a must have! This is a size small, and is a 50/50 cotton/poly blend. I've already washed it, so the shrinkage should be minimal. Great for Halloween!!

This cute little jacket from Urban Outfitters has been hand stitched with grapes on both sides of the zipper. The construction of the jacket is such that there is a flap that covers the stitching, so it never touches your skin! It is blue, with 3/4 length sleeves. This jacket is a size small, and quite form fitting. I will warn you, it is a bit on the small side.

This is a great notebook, on which I have hand stitched the Single Distelfink. This is a traditional PA Dutch design, this one comes from the Zook family. The inside of this notebook is squared, so it is great for journaling, sketching designing, whatever you like!

Here is what the Zook family website says about the design:

"The Distelfink is the good luck and happiness bird of the Pennsylvania Dutch. Distelfink birds, often very stylized, were used to decorate marriage and birth certificates, bible fly leaves and furniture. It was based on our thistle seed loving Goldfinch. Here the Distelfink is perched on a large heart bursting with tulips. The heart adds love; the tulips add faith. Overall, this design proclaims good luck and happiness. Black Silk Headband with Golden Flowers

This is a black silk headband, on which I have hand embroidered a row of golden flowers with shiny green leaves. I used rayon embroidery floss, which has a sheen complimenting the glossy silk. The entire piece has a great shiny look. There is elastic in the back, and you tie the tails at the base of your neck. This looks great with a t-shirt and jeans, yet is still elegant enough for that little cocktail dress. Unfortunately, my model, Buse, has moved back to Turkey, so I don't have a picture to show how it looks on. Hopefully I'll find someone else to model this one soon!

Whitework on Black Silk Throw Pillow

This 15" square, black silk pillow is my most ambitious work yet. Each ribbon in this design took more than three hours of stitching time, and I used more than nine skeins of embroidery floss. This was done completely with 2 strings per stitch, so it took thousands of tiny stitches very close together to construct this piece.
